They provided excellent service and attention to my puppy Bronx.

We went there seeking a specialist for an ultrasound. They said it would be about two hours so we could wait - it was over eight hours. Then they tried to sell us a biopsy option; after we declined they never returned a phone call with questions we had. NEVER. Then when she was put to sleep it was after hours; they said they would have a doctor call to arrange getting us in. They did NOT CALL. If I could give them a zero-star instead of one-star I would. I'm sure they are specialists with smart doctors but they run an awful clinic. I cannot fully express my displeasure with this clinic.

They are emergency hospital but the door is locked and the receptionist just stares at you non responsive unless you call. I went there at 6 am today, my dog was extremely sick. The receptionist was so ignorant that she didn’t care what was going on . And she said the wait time is 6 hours. She said it’s like human emergency hospital , first come, first serve. The answer is No, if a dog if in a urgent situation an emergency hospital will not keep her waiting for 6 hours we wait for 30 min for the technician to come and check our dog but nobody showed up. Useless people and poor service. 0 star.

I understand you guys are busy the day after Christmas, but it is completely unreasonable to expect someone to wait in their car in the parking lot for 8 hours to be seen. It's the 21st century, at least get a digital wait-list.

Useless facility. Why say you're open 24 hours if you don't take any pets? I called during the day because my dog was feeling very sick and throwing up and had diabetes and they told me I couldn't bring her in because they were max capacity. I tried called that same night because she was feeling even worse and they gave me the same answer. Rude receptionist and very unhelpful. Don't say you're a 24 hour emergency center if you're not even accepting pets for emergencies. 0 STARS!

The ACCESS team saved my dog! I can't say how much I appreciate everything that they did for my dog and me! I was exhausted to wait for the results, I can only imagine how tired the team was. They performed surgery around midnight. Personal was super professional. They not only saved my dog but also supported me when I couldn't stay strong and cried. I'm so grateful to the entire team!

My cat needed an echocardiogram. The price was a thousand dollars less than VCA. The doctor was professional and caring. The support crew was fabulous. Definitely the best experience ever.

I was hesitant to bring my dog here because of the bad reviews. However, the cardiologist was recommended by my regular vet provider. Additionally, my cousin's friend has been coming here for her dog's heart condition and said she received great service. I called and booked an appointment. I arrived late because of traffic but they still saw my dog. My dog had an exam and ultrasound. It took about 40 minutes. By the time, I came back from getting coffee she was already done. It is on the pricey side but that makes sense because it's a specialty department. The cardiologist gave a clear explanation on my dog's heart condition and answered all my questions.

Our family suffered a similar experience at Access. They killed our beloved Gracie. She went in for cancer surgery and the surgeon contaminated the surgical field with the skin infection that they knew she had. We found out this fact when the oncologist next door took blood to start Gracie's chemotherapy. Access operated again and a day later her poor little heart gave out. If you love your Baby, take them anywhere else. BTW, they are soooooo rude

I HATE EVERYBODY THERE!! They’re soooo rude & they don’t care about your animal at all,if it wasn’t for the patients “animals “they wouldn’t have a job! I called the emergency line & they kept me on hold forever & the lady was NO HELP AT ALL! She had the worst attitude ever! Then they’ll overcharge & later contact you for MORE MONEY.PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE!

Our 12 year old dog was attached by some animal and I ran her down the street to Access. The guy who took her just cradled her and started talking to her. The doctors called 2X/day and were very honest and supportive. They answered all of our questions and did not ever rush. They were amazing. They even sent us pictures because we were not allowed to go in. They all truly cared for our little one. When they thought she would need surgery, the surgeon was also wonderful. Was honest and told us it was a borderline case to do surgery. He was supportive when we chose not to. Just brought her back for bandage change and again they were great. My only complaints are they are very expensive but in a crisis, you cant really shop around. I would not hesitate to go back again.

When you check in, they're super disorganized. Nice, but disorganized. I honestly wouldn't bring my pet here because I have a feeling alot slips through the cracks. I had an appointment next door and it took about 25 minutes before I, not they, realized I may be in the wrong place. They couldn't even tell me if my dog had an appointment booked there or not. Scary! Banfield seems better. Sorry!

Zero stars…by ALL appearances this place has one goal and that is to take as much of your money as possible. If they happen to help your pet in doing so then you’re one of the lucky ones. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

This hospital killed my dog. They have this stupid rule where you can’t go in with your dog unless it’s an emergency, my dog was diagnosed with a weak heart and gets anxious when around strangers. When we took him due to a dislocated hip, he was breathing heavily, and they had to put him on an oxygen tank, and still this careless hospital told us we couldn’t go in to be with him, is this not considered an emergency? According to the report our dog was scared, and resisted being carried and taken to do X-rays because he is scared around strangers. Yet this hospital still did not call us to come and be there for him. They gave him painkillers which made his situation much much worse. They recommended euthanasia when it was too late, and before we could even say goodbye he passed away, if we were there with him we could’ve known what they were going to administer and at least help him calm down to not make his heart rate go up. They took over 45 minutes to get the doctor to come in and they gave the most useless diagnosis and left out the details that I ended up finding in my report. Because of their rule of not letting ppl into the hospital, leaving owners scared and worried on what’s happening to their pet, their long wait times and careless service, my dog passed away alone in this trash hospital. The vets are horrible and so are the nurses, and not to mention their extremely absurd charges. This place needs to be sued and shut down for malpractice.

I've been seeing the Internist here for quite some time. It is a lengthy process as there are several departments, and there are emergencies that crop up. Having said that, I have found the entire staff to be kind, compassionate and understanding. They treat my dog with great care. Dr. Hadar always takes time to explain to me what her findings are, and what our treatment plan is going forward. She doesn't rush, and answers my 50,000 questions. This is a far better Urgent Care facility than the vast majority.

My vet uses Access as their overnight call service. I called tonight because I was worried that I accidentally gave my cat too much prescribed medication. The first woman that answered was very rude and said they wouldn’t give me any information because it was against the law. I asked if I could speak to a vet and she hung up on me. I called back and spoke to another woman. She was able to listen better than the first person. She said poison control would have to be consulted unless it was an emergency. I said it is an emergency and asked if I could bring my cat in. She said they were full and not accepting any emergency visits. So, they were useless. My vet gave their number for after hours information and emergencies and they couldn’t provide either one. I am worried about my cat and they chose hostility and hung up on me. To add insult to injury, poison control wanted to charge $75 as a consult fee. Stay away from this place if you want personalized service and compassion. They will just refer you to someone else anyway.

0 stars. This place is a joke. They should be shut down and the veterinary should have their license taken away for malpractice, misdiagnosis, negligence and scamming you for all you have. I don't understand how they are still operating or haven't been sued yet. Please avoid going here. You can send a compliant to your state veterinary licensing board. They have the power to suspend or revoke a veterinarian's license.

If I could give you negative infinity stars I would. If only you had taken my kitten in last night when I called you in a frantic state, he wouldn’t be dead today and I wouldn’t have this hole in my heart. Avoid this place at all costs, they lack compassion and are completely apathetic to the suffering of the animals they are supposed to care for.

I had an absolute terrible experience here. Let me explain: my dog ran away and got hit by a car. When I found him, he couldn’t stand. I assumed he broke his legs. I took him to Access SFV to get checked. They told me he has two broken legs and would need surgery ASAP! They told me it would cost around 7-9 thousand dollars! No way I could afford that so I decided to take my dog else where. I ended up paying $1,500 for tests and medication. I got a second opinion from a veterinarian. When they gave me a diagnosis , they said he had NO broken bones, he is just dehydrated. I could not believe it. No way. Such a different result from Access SFV. So I decided to finally get a third opinion from third veterinarian and… again they told me my dog has no broken bones and would need an IV and rest. Access SFV is a terrible business who are taking advantage of good people who love their pets. They know how dog people are. They really love their dogs, so when they see them vulnerable, they take advantage and see an opportunity to make money. Not just dog ppl but all people who care for their pets. EVERYONE PLEASE BEWARE! Do not trust these ppl. Get a second opinion from another animal hospital/veterinarian. They lied to me, they tried to screw me over but they did not succeed.

I called in at 1am crying and scared because my dog started seizing for the first time ever. They were the closest emergency hospital to where I live and the receptionist who answered can go straight to hell! I was begging her to ask if they could take my dog in for help and her only response was to look for a hospital near me because “he wasn’t going to make it if I headed to their location and that they were over capacity either way” when I called back to ask one more time she just started talking about costs and if I had a way to pay for the service. Thank God VCA Animal Specialty took him in despite of being over capacity they made a way to make him a priority. Go elsewhere this was the most outrageous experience I ever had and for someone who works at an animal hospital and not have any compassion, says a lot about what this place is about. Save your baby and find another place to go. All they care about is money!

This place is run poorly. Management is non existent. We have spent thousands of $ and time and our dog is still not treated. We were given the run around to all kinds of Specialties, made several appointments, which they canceled not based on the doctor's advise. They had our dog in their clinic under anesthesia and they were calling us to confirm the appointments. No communication within the clinic, ten different people called me to ask the same question. This place is unorganized and a waste of time and money. The Vets may be good but management is beyond horrible. Save your time, $$$ and energy!
