They were 1 doctor down and the remaining doctor was in an emergency surgery. We had to be referred to a different hospital which they provided I fo to us

We brought our doggie here because she started to get sick and was not acting like her normal self. Our dog did end up needing to be hospitalized since she did end up being pretty ill, but is doing much better now. The veterinarians and technicians provided exceptional care for our pet and the veterinarian on duty called each morning to provide an update on our pet. We could tell how much the veterinarians and technicians cared for our pet in how they treated her. We are so pleased and satisfied with the phenomenal care and service they provided that we are switching from the vet both our dogs had for years to one of the veterinarians at Washington Boulevard Animal Hospital. We highly recommend Washington Boulevard Animal Hospital.

I like the place a lot. I been taking my dog there for the past 4 to 5 years. It's clean, the staffs are friendly, and the doctors are quite professional. My recent visit included my dog needing hospitalization, and when returning home there was a very clear instruction sheet on what to do. However, i don't have other hospitals to compare to but I think pricing is probably a bit more than others, hence why the 4 star, but if there was half star then definitely a 4.5 star.

Since the 1970s I have been coming to this veterinarian, Dr. Fink’s Washington Blvd. Animal Hospital. For decades, some of the best vets, Dr. Fink, Dr. “T”, Dr. Voorheis . . . graced this place with the utmost care. The place was small but highly professional and reliable. They even responded to emergencies after office hours! Then it all went downhill with the remodeling and expansion, and not because of Covid, but poor staff, and customer support (they don’t answer their phones!) and you can’t make an appointment for months. They habitually send out postcard notices saying they miss my pets and serve as reminders to complete annual exams and other routine services, but when you call for an appointment they can’t accommodate you? Why send those damn notifications if they’re not going to honor them? Now, after 40 years of my loyalty to them, (not to mention the thousands of dollars spent) I now have to locate another veterinarian. Dr. Fink must be rolling in his grave! His beloved clinic is no more, so very sad.

DR. Chang is very affordable, thorough, and professional! I took my cat here for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. We recently had some changes in our home environment. As a result our cat ???? was stressed and had a UTI (urinary tract infection). I took him to a different vetenarian hospital where he was hospitalized for a couple of days and ended up costing us a few thousand. I wish I would have known about this place first! Dr Chang took time to answer my prepared questions, explained things exceptionally and made sure I understood our course of action! Our prognosis is looking better already. I love this place. ALSO staff on telephone are amazing too. They were very instrumental in getting us in: with strong communication skills they answer questions and go above and beyond to help clients get through the door. Well done!

I took my dog in because he was losing weight. They didnt find anything. After charging 1200 dollars nothing. He is still sick. And now I don't think he will survive this Christmas. I have taken all my dogs here in the past for obvious problems. This time some effort was needed. I dont feel they properly treated my baby.

I've previously taken my dog to this vet and called yesterday to make an appointment for my cat. I booked an appointment for the next day and was told to have my cat there between 9am - 9:30am. My fiancee took the cat to the appointment and was told by the receptionist that they had not seen my cat before and had no appointment on the calendar. I tried calling the office to clarify and the phone rang and rang with no answer. I called my fiancee and said to bring the cat home and that we'd schedule at a different office. I then received a call from the receptionist at the Washington Blvd Animal Hospital. She very rudely told me that I was mistaken about the appointment because they'd never seen my cat before and that there was no scheduled appointment. When I tried to speak to explain what had happened, she interrupted me - spoke over me - and said that I had "obviously called another vet's office as there are many in the Whittier area." That's the good news for me and my animals! We will not be going back to this vet. Customer service is a critical element to any business. It's apparent that this business would do well by enrolling the very rude receptionist in a class to learn basic manners.

A receptionist by the name of “Raquel” shrugged off my request and concern. My cat had an abscess near her rectum, received surgery and such but when I shared with the receptionist that she has not had a bowel movement or urination in almost 2 days, she said that it normal and that I can call the following day after 5pm to speak with someone about it. Basically she shrugged me off and pretended not to hear me.

We've been coming here a few years now the place is always clean and staff courteous. There fees are on the high side and you wait a while , but we always feel satisfied with the doctors evaluation of our dear pets.

I love Dr Husain, but this time we waited a long time. We did get there a little early, but the wait time was long. We had a tech appointment, don't know if Sunday is not a good day for staff.

They’re very patient. My cat is a “problem” in that he gets super aggressive and they handle him so well.

Comfortable waiting room. No price gouging especially when ppl may be at a vulnerable time with their pet. Office and professional staff worked like a fine oiled machine. I will consider this my new Vet clinic.

It's been a while since I visited this hospital. However, I brought in my dog, he was very ill. They took him in right away due to his condition. The options they gave were helpful. Thank you doctor and staff for your warmth and sincerity during this difficult time. God bless you ????????????????

I have been going to Washington Blvd animal hospital for years. I don't trust any other vet practice to care for my cats.
