BEST Vet my pets have ever seen. Very caring, and extremely reasonable in price. My friend told me about this doctor, and she could not stop telling me how awesome of a doctor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr. Luong is a straight shooter, no BS in a humane understanding, compassionate way and wont charge for unnecessary treatment. He's treated all our psychos for years and can depend on him for top quality treatment.

My lab had an inflammation behind his dew claw. Two different vets prescribed antibiotics but they didn't help. Dr. Luong suggested removing the dew claw and having a biopsy. Sure enough, it was cancer. The biopsy report said there were good margins (enough tissue removed so all the cancer was removed). We followed up with blood work every six months and he is has been fine. I look forward to many more years with my fur baby.

How do I start . My dog tiny had very bad Atopica Dermatitis and I had gone to so many vet's that basically drained my wallet. I brought her here to Alamitos Animal Hospital and the vet took a look at her and was very disappointed and ask me what medication do I think would work instead of taking all sorts of test and guess what she is doing so much better because this veterinarian listened to my experiences with other vet's. I will highly recommend Alamitos Animal Hospital.

I am pleased with everything about this place. My animals will always be brought here. I am very picky too.

Dr. Leung has a customer for life with me. He's straightforward and honest and never tries to upsell me which I really appreciate. You'd be surprised at how many vets out there try to upsell you and make you pay for all kinds of exams and treatments that you don't even need. Every time I come here the staff is polite and welcoming. I take both of my cats here and could not be happier with this vet.

I love this place. The doctor takes his time with my puppy I never feel rushed. He answers all my questions no matter how silly they may seem.

This young man handles even my 'CAT FROM HELL' with gentleness and care. His professional competence is without question at a level that sets him far above most of the new Veterinarians I have encountered in recent years. Our original Vet served us and our pets for about 40 years. Trying to find a new one with his experience and genuine concern was beginning to become very frustrating. Thank God we found Dr. Leung! We currently have 2 dogs and 8 cats. We also serve as a way-station for feral cats and kittens in transition for the TRAP, NEUTER AND RELEASE program our cousin volunteers with. More than most pet owners we NEED a competent, caring Veternarian.

The doctor is knowledgeable and CARING. My dog was in a potential life threating situation with a very large tumor. The doctor took him in with the knowledge that I couldn't possibly pay for all the services necessary. After assessing the situation with blood tests and x-rays and anestsia he referred to a surgeon and because of my situation he didn't ask for a penny. He is a great doctor and more importantly a great man. If you need a vet he is your man.

The doctor is very friendly and super informative, and the staff are great. It's a small waiting room, so keep that in mind if your animal is skittish around strange people/animals.

Absolutely the best! Great with our greyhounds and rescue mutt from the San Bernardino Mountains. Compassionate, professional and exceptional treatment. And when it's time/was time to say good bye to our furry friends, we were with them and given all the time we needed in the exam room to say goodbye.
