Anza Animal Clinic Westlake Village, California

Anza took my dog in on an urgent basis when all of the other clinics in the area refused, including the local emergency vet clinic, because they were at capacity. I am so grateful to Dr. Watase, he was so patient, eased my anxiety, and was very thorough. He called to check in on my fur baby the next day and was able to further guide me by having me email him pictures of my concerns rather than making me come back to the clinic. It is clear the Anza team love animals as much as I do and I’m so thankful to have found them. Would highly recommend this clinic!

Margarita, my Bedlington Terrier just turned 5. She has been a patient at Anza since she got here in July 2017. I appreciate Dr. Watase and his staff. They are very professional. Margarita has come to appreciate them and no longer hides when the doctor comes to examine her. At 5 she is healthy and happy.

Best Dam Vet Office in Town!!!

"Trustworthy" is the best word to describe my veterinarian. Our pets are family and unfortunately except for their facial expressions and body language they really cannot convey what they feel as much as we would like. We need to know that our Doctor's primary concern is the well being of our pets and not how much they could bill. I have been bringing my 14 yr. old black "Pearl" Lab to Dr. Watase at Anza Animal Clinic and I completely trust his work and judgement every time. I also have to say that the staff at Anza are all so great and wonderful. You can see that they love animals and will treat your pet as if they were their own. I have had quite a few dogs and have tried several vets. Dr. Watase and the Anza staff are the best in what they do.

Can't say enough during these times when it's impossible to get Vet appointments. My regular Vet was closed on Saturday morning and Anza Animal Clinic got me in within 90 minutes. Woke up Saturday morning to find the right side of my dogs face swollen, she was some what lethargic and not herself. Thank You very much for taking care of my girl.

Really great professional, helpful, and friendly staff all around. After the first visit I knew I would be returning and I have since as well as had them perform a spaying that went absolutely perfectly and again, so easy and my cat does not mind coming here at all either!

I’m so lucky I found this place after his own vet could not see him. ANZA will now be his new vet. They were so good with him. They took there time to examine him throughly answered all my questions and were so caring. The doctor that treated him was amazing. I will not take him no where else. Could not thank them enough.

This is literally the worst vet ever majority of the staff doesn’t care about animals and especially the owner he harassed my friend whose dog passed do to neglect from one of there trusted vets she expressed concern for their being a bigger issue so many times they gave her wrong information on multiple accounts and the fact that the owner called to be condensing and clear his name as if he didn’t want to get in any legal trouble no regard for poor ziggy and for the owner whose mourning his loss the poor dog could have had a chance if they listened and actually cared

My dog started to feel sick over the weekend and no one in Thousand or Westlake will take her in. Thank God for Anza Animal clinic. They were very helpful in accommodating and also it's very practical. My dog has only been under treatment for 1 day for I am hopeful that she will respond ok to the treatment. The vet was very professional and so was the staff. They are following safety standards for COVID but they do it in a very efficient and professional way. Thank you again for all of your help!

They take good care of all our animals. Very thorough and caring.

Our first visit here with our puppy went better than we've come to expect from Vets in this and surrounding areas. We recently transferred our two dogs here - a 13 year old Pitbull & 6 month old French Bulldog - from SoCal Vet in Woodland Hills and honestly couldn't be happier with the service, staff, availability, and prices. While we were being charged $500+ for basic bloodwork / checkups, we were quoted only $100-200 for bloodwork at Anza Animal Clinic. They have very competitive prices and don't seem to try and nickle and dime you on basic preventive measures. We look forward to our next appointment!

Hi My Fellow Village/Thousand Oaks/Agoura/Newbury Park Neighbors!…. People, like myself, create TRUE LIFE REVIEWS, so people like ‘you’ can make your opinion after reading some of the posted comments. That’s why I am taking the time to tell you what happened yesterday. To start, I love my animals. In our family, they are part of us! Unfortunately, One of my Dogs is prone to having seizures. She had one yesterday. My son grabbed her and we hastily drove to “Anza Animal Clinic!” Upon arrival, they immediately sprung into action. Brittany the Nurse, saw Lulu’s condition, swooped her up, took her to the back where the wonderful Dr Spadaro stabilized her. Within an hour Lulu was Diagnosed, Treated, Medicated, and I was given Meds for the Future. Holy Cow! THE BEST ANIMAL SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED in a long, long time. Brittany, Allison, and that really nice Dr Spadaro are for sure THE “A” TEAM for your animals well being. I am for sure using them for all my animals medical needs going forward! 5 out 5 ⭐️‘s !!!

I needed a veterinary appointment in a hurry. My issue was, my Rottweiler is a rescue and has been abandoned twice. I couldn’t imagine dropping her off without being there for her. The staff was great, so accommodating, and helpful. I was able accompany my pup in the examining room. Everyone I encountered was friendly, helpful and true animal lovers. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. Anza will be my go to Veterinarian.

So glad I came here! Amazing Doctor & staff. They were so helpful and caring unlike other vets I've been to. If your dog has any issues...this is the place where you want to be. They are detail oriented and that to me means everything. Thank you so much!

The Doctor Watase the Best but the staff on the phone not the best

We have been placing our pets in Dr. Watasi's care at the Anza Animal Clinic for over 20 years. He has saved our pets lives many times. He is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable as well as compassionate.

My dog just needed blood work. I called from the parking lot. Went faster than if I had gone in. Anza has always been my favorite. I drove 160 miles just to come back here for my best buddy.

Knowledgeable and caring. Everything you want from a vet and the support staff are wonderful too. Sensible COVID processes

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Took great care of my 16-year-old Chihuahua. The vet also was wonderful and knew her stuff. Great place to go!

I love this vet clinic. They are a little expensive but they genuinely love the pets. They used to give ribbons with a calming scent for the animals but they don't do it anymore, I kind of liked that extra touch. Regardless, this is a great place to take your pet.

My experience has been consistently good with Dr. Watase and his wonderful staff! I drive practically an hour each way, and it’s not because I don’t have vets near me, on the contrary....there are 2 places close by, within minutes but I chose Anza Animal Clinic because of the positive experiences I’ve had and the people working there. I think Dr. Watase is an incredibly knowledgeable, kind and professional vet. He’s very thorough and takes wonderful care of my 2 precious fur babies! He doesn’t just look at the problem, but looks at contributing factors and is proactive which I like. His staff is professional, responsive and kind. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help with their precious fur baby! They are COVID compliant and I felt it was a safe environment for me to enter. I like being able to see and speak to my vet, versus just dropping them off in the parking lot.
