Very convenient for boarding dogs. The dogs seem happy to be here and are happy when picked up. You can also get a full range of services from them too.

Love this place! Our dog has stayed a few times overnight. She always seems happy and excited to be there. Some dogs actually seem sad to leave after staying. The faculty are extremely pleasant. Clean facility.

We pay a lot of money to have camera access to our puppy. Unfortunately the cameras don't work more than 60% of the time. We have tried to call to find out if our puppy is ok and have had little luck getting ahold of anyone. We are very disappointed and will be seeking answers. Update....we did speak with their staff and they were very helpful and have offered an alternative room to rectify the camera situation.

Took our two babies to get them “officially groomed”! See before and after photos. Wag Hotels absolutely delivered! Very nice facility (Sacramento). We could not be more pleased with the outcome of their grooming sessions. They are very reasonably priced. You can tell the staff love doing their job!! We have found our fur-ever groomers!

F/U: After four months of frustration with the operations manager, the general manager, Charlotte Worrell, reached out and made good regarding the injury to my pup. I'm revising my initial review as I do believe that she will put measures in place to avoid this type of occurrence moving forward . This supports good business practice by taking care of their customer base. If all aspects of their business were as conscientious regarding their customer care, Wag Hotel could potentially be a top facility for the Sacramento area. I was excited to try this venue, new to me, and I took my two dogs for grooming. I was happy with one of my two dogs cuts, my second fur kid was marginal and has been a horrible experience. The first problem I noticed was that my pups private area was "nicked" and she was in pain and miserable for a week, needing pain relief salve daily. I was told that the groomer was "new". I wasn't aware that I needed to request an experienced groomer! Three weeks later I discover that my pup has ear infections in both ears! First time ever in eight years. This seems much too coincidental in conjunction with her grooming. I cannot recommend Wag Hotels.

My dog LOVES The Wag! He gets so excited when he figures out where we're going and even crazier when we arrive. The facility is super clean, the workers are awesome and the groomers do a wonderful job. When I pick up my pooch, he is exhausted after All Day Play. I've also boarded him there for a couple of nights and it was a smooth process. I definitely recommend The Wag Hotel. My dog gives it four paws up.

The Wag locked my pup in a crate for hours until he pissed himself. Very cruel, don’t fall for their marketing. Would give 0 stars if possible!

Extremely disappointed in my interaction with customer service. I had a confirmation email for my dog to be boarded and called customer service just to be 100% sure. I’m so glad I made the call, because they had no record of my reservation despite going through the wag hotel app and receiving a confirmation email. The woman on the phone was very short, sounded as if she were driving in a car and rudely stated to me that my dog could not stay at the facility without engaging in group play. I told her he is anxious and I prefer to have him not participate in group activities. I even offered to pay the extra $45 fee for the “specialized plan” so my pup could have one on one attention. She let me know they do not have availability for the specialized plan (though it is offered as an option when making a reservation through the app). The call ended with this woman condescendingly telling me I should book dog boarding reservations with wag hotels a month in advance. Super rude. Super misleading advertising for accommodations. I’m disappointed in the way they handled my request. I’ll be looking elsewhere.

This review is for Brianna!!! She is a groomer at this location and has given my Labradoodle his haircut 3 times now. Let me just say, if you have a doodle in the area, THIS IS who you want to groom your pup. She goes above and beyond to ensure the cut is what I was looking for. This last groom service, she used a new shampoo and my dog had an allergic reaction,(constant itching). Brianna reached out to schedule a bath, to rinse out the old soap and try to help soothe his skin. He is 100% better and she reached out again to check in on him. It doesn’t get better than someone else caring about your dog. Thank you Brianna.

I have used Wags for grooming for over a year. Breanna is the best!!!!! She's extremely professional, does a fantastic job and pays attention to detail! She is great with my fur babies and we love her!!! They're actually excited about their spa day!!

Brianna @ WAG in West Sacramento has been grooming Kimmy for almost over a year since she was a puppy. Always professional, I’m amazed she got this monster to sit still long enough for a cut. I’d highly recommend WAG as an option for grooming.

Warning... RUN! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! This is a horrible establishment. I'm honestly shocked that they are still able to operate seeing as how they mistreat dogs and aren't kind to owners. They were rude to me while bringing my PUPPY to puppy play. Their training program is pretty much a joke. Check out Albree dog training instead! We left a true Yelp review stating what we experienced. The owner called me, gave me attitude, and literally said, "so there's NOTHING I can do to make you delete your review?" Are you serious? How about; what are you going to do FOR ME since you mistreated my puppy and me?! Check out their Yelp too - there are horrifying accounts of dogs not being let out to pee, not being taken out on walks that customers PAY for, and not getting play time. Do not board your dog here, you will regret it.

Had a tour of the facility on Sunday morning and was thoroughly impressed! I brought my quarantine puppy (10 months old) for daycare from 9am - 9pm on Tuesday and it was free! Your pet's first stay is free. Pick up and drop off was a breeze. I will definitely return! The person who brought my dog out said she was timid during play groups but my dog has never really been socialized so I plan to bring her here at least once or twice a month to meet other dogs :)

We love Wag and our dogs do too. They wag their tails when we pull up. I trust this company and they allow you to pickup your pets at any time. They give a complimentary bath when your pets stay over a week. You can watch your dogs on the wag cam during play sessions. They give you a cute little report card about how your pet did. They have an employee monitoring all the dogs during play sessions. It's a solid place. Some of the add-on prices can be a bit weird. It's really strange to pay for someone to spend extra time petting your dog while away...or for bubble time.

Still waiting for a call back from Wags regarding my dog's daycare visit on Thursday; today is Tuesday. My dog had diarrhea, but do not yet know the cause. I wanted to know if they served my dog the food I brought in or their own. That will help determine the cause of the diarrhea. So far, I am out $500.00 in vet bills; primarily because Wags won't return my call.

I've taken my dog to Wag for both boarding and all day play a couple of times each since relocating to Sac. My dog seems to have a good time at both -- and he's always exhausted after his visit. I've also gotta mention that he's pretty vocal and kind of extra in general, and they seem generally unphased by that, which I appreciate! I'm knocking a star off because we've had an issue with an upcoming reservation. The reservation was made over the phone, for about a week after a couple my dog's vaccines are due to expire. He's scheduled for a vet appointment the day they expire, so he should be all set for when the actual boarding date rolls around. I let the person I spoke with when I made the reservation know I'd send along updated records when I had them, and she said that was fine. So, imagine my surprise when I received an email a couple days later (again while the vaccines are still active) that the reservation "couldn't be approved" due to expired vaccines. This seems like a weird quirk for a dog boarding facility to have, since I can't imagine I'm the only one who's attempted to make a reservation close to the end of a vaccine efficacy window.

Natalie at the front desk of the Wag Hotel was great. She was kind, receptive, and professional. Would definitely recommend bringing your dog here for doggy daycare or boarding.

Before I sent my little dog knopa she was in very bad condition overweight, heart disease, and hard to breath. She also wasn’t allowed to go upstairs but she did so anyways. After her stay she was a completely different dog. She became more social, easy for her to breath, not over weight, and she is well behaved now. Overall best doggy daycare and great staff.

Most establishments when you enter you get welcome in can I help you. I didn’t get that at this facility. I went to this facility to check it out and to get my dog groomed and to see about boarding her there for a week. When I walked in, first of all they looked at me like they had never seen a black person before and why was I there? I stood there for awhile even before I was even acknowledged. Cold and not very helpful never offered me a tour of the facility just kept telling me what they don’t do. The website is not user friendly either, nice facility not very nice people to bad. If I could I’d give them 0. Sacramento location!

I send my dog (85lb, German shepherd female) to daycare here when I have to go into the office. She gets her excited whines when we pull up to the building lol. They have a variety of options for daycare: all day play, 12 hr day stay with 2 1-hour play groups, or 1 on 1 play with a handler to keep the pup active. All day play cameras are on after 10AM so you can watch your dog play and interact online from their website. I've also boarded my dog here for 4 nights when I went to a wedding out of town. The room I got her was $85 a night, came with a 24-hr webcam so I could check on her in her room at any time, 2 feedings a day per my instructions, morning and evening walks, 2 1-hour play sessions in the play groups, and a peanut butter Kong snack. My dog loves it here, prices are reasonable, & buy the prepay daycare bundles to save a little money.

All day play is walking around a person wiping up the floor. I watched the web cam and it does not appear they interact with the dogs much. My dog is sneezing and does not seem well. She was boarded from Wednesday to Sunday. I am concerned. Update: vet prescribed antibiotics. Rice and chicken diet for the diarrhea. My poor puppy. She is feeling better now.
