My 11 year old furr baby had a loose K9 tooth with an infection and needed to be seen ASAP! I ended up taking her here after spending several days trying to get ahold of Banfield. When I had finally got ahold of Banfield they told me that they couldn't see her for two months! Thankfully 101 Pet Vet was able to get her in within a few days. Christy was very helpful over the phone and helped eased my anxiety about the situation with my dog. The visit went great, the staff was all very caring and seemed passionate about their jobs. They took the time to answer all of my questions. They even called the next day to check on my furr baby! I will definitely be going back to 101 Pet Vet again! I had to add to this and take stars away because the day that she was scheduled for surgery I went in and I asked them what the plan was for doing her labs. She is an older dog and they said they were going to do them that same day. I thought it was weird, because anywhere else that I would have taken her to said that the pre-surgery labs would take several days to get the results back. How would they have her labs done with the results and be ready to do the surgery all in the same day? It didn't make sense to me! I asked them about it and they said that the test were not necessary! That's insane right?!?!?

Everyone there is fantastic from the front office staff to the vet techs to the 2 Dr.'s I've seen in the few times I've been there. I have 2 cats & a dog. They treat them fantastic, very gentle & fast in their procedures. I would highly recommend 101 Pet Vet!

So far so good I brought my dog in love the staff doctor took time in talking to me about everything explain to me in detail.

I was able to get my 2 ???? into see the Vet, which was awesome most places 2 week wait. The staff from front desk to the Dr. Garcia are awesome. Miranda, Christy and the ones I forgot your name. Thank you for your kindness and, seeing you love your job taking care of animals.

No one wearing a mask! All 3 employees at the front desk were maskless, when I asked about it one said "Oh, we just do what we want". I turned around and walked out. I couldn't believe I was able to get an appointment so soon when all of the other vets in the area are booked for a month in advance. Now I know why. What's even more galling is that there's a big sign on the door insisting that customers wear a mask if they want to come in, but they don't bother to wear one to protect YOU. Unbelievable that during this surge in the Delta variant that they'd put their customers at risk. I know too many very careful vaccinated folks who've gotten sick from the Delta variant, it's not worth it, people. MASK UP AND AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. CUZ THERE'S A PLAGUE GOING ON. SERIOUSLY.

Dr. Spence is a genius when it comes to pet care. He saves lives when other vets say only alternative is to put them down. I have taken my cats to two different emergency hospitals and they always say surgery or out down. Take them to Dr. Spence. He is a remarkable Vet that will save your baby when others won't bother. Of course no guarantees in life but he is better than all the rest. Top notch.

Another BAD EXPERIRNCE! When this place was Bristol Animal hospital they sold me Science Diet that KILLED my dog! They made me pay $1500 for that. I try using them again now that its a new owner and AGAIN they did not diagnose the Pet correctly and my dogs illness has been drug out! I took my dogs to another vet that correctly diagnosed them and am finally getting results!! This place is the worst!!

I am deeply grateful for Dr.Spence and his amazing staff for treating my dog Vanilla Bean with so much love and kindness. I was new to Ventura and I didn't have a primary vet for my girl. Initially going in for what I thought was a UTI, I ultimately discovered she had cancer. My heart is so broken but I am so happy that she had such an amazing vet to help us through this difficult process. I ended up having to put her down after her condition worsened. Miss her so much ))):::: But I highly recommend 101 Pet Vet for all your fur babies. And a message to any dog owner, get pet insurance if you don't already have it and get a blood test once a year minimum because it hurts so much to lose them.

Dr.Spence is wonderful. As someone who fosters orphaned kittens, it can be difficult to find a vet who is knowledgeable about neonatal kittens and their issues. Dr. Spence knows his stuff and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This place was incredible! I am definitely going to be recommending this place to everyone! Our pup had some badly injured paw pads and we were so worried about him. We are newer to the Ventura area so we didn’t have an established vet yet but this place was able to get us in the next day from when we called! Not only that, the service we received was amazing! All the staff we had contact with were extremely nice and assured us that our dog was going to be well taken care of, which made us feel so much better right away. They also called the day after we brought him in just to check on him which was awesome! Also, the price at this vet is unbeatable. With everything that was done for our pup, we were expecting quite a large bill but it was actually very affordable! I will definitely be coming back to this vet for all my dog’s needs and again, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Excellent Veterinary establishment. Very knowledgeable and professional. The best we have ever experienced. They even called the day after our dog was there to check in on him. Amazing staff!

Doctors are very knowledgeable and the nurses are very friendly my animals always happy when he leaves office and I know he's got in the care of that he needs and deserves

This vet and staff is awesome! Dr. Spence removed a mass on my dog’s stomach and cleaned and removed some teeth and I am so happy! My dog is doing excellent less than a week after his surgery. Highly recommend.

Kind, caring staff and veterinarians. Their prices did go up recently though and I still have to wait in the car for my pet but at least they're being extra cautious!

Brought my dog in for a checkup since I found a bump on her, ended up being a tumor, The doctor did a great job at making me feel comfortable with the process he performed the surgery and she's recovering nicely.

Dr Spence is a great vet. He truly care for the animals and does whatever he can to help them. I know most people cant afford to pay for vet Bill's and I truly believe he has reasonable prices compared to other local vets.

I have been extremely happy with the staff and veterinarian at this local veterinarian hospital. My cat has been here 3X in the last year. She had a ear infection and something else going on. It was fast and friendly staff who made the experience less stressful. Thank you for all that you do for keeping the community's pets happy and healthy. ????????????????????

Love the people who work there, love the service but sad to say I was being overcharged for several years, my Apoquel 16mm 30 unit was almost double what the new vet quoted me for the same prescription.

Great employees they were very helpful and efficient my dog was so happy during his whole visit they make it so easy and comfortable especially cassie and kacie thank u bristol
