Excellent customer service. Through the roof, I must say.

Some of the facilities are in need of repairs but the staff and service are top notch. Friendly and courteous, they obviously love and care for the animals. They have been tremendously helpful during our adoption process and we are grateful for all they've done.

My wife had her heart set on a cheweenie at HSNB. We had adopted one 15 years ago and he recently passed. We were told the dog was to active for us and would not be available for us to adopt. REALLY. We will go elsewhere and tell anyone that know who wants a dog to go elsewhere. I feel bad for the animals under their protection.

Very friendly. I called to make an appointment for a microchip. I was late but they still helped me. They also answered all my questions. It was fantastic.

The staff was focused on what's best for the animals. I love my Happy Little Dude that I adopted last Oct 2020. He is the most amazing magical little creature. They did not seem to have alot of resources, so any donations to them I am sure would be appreciated,. Great Staff.

I volunteered here once...I love what they do..Who couldn't? But I don't understand how they can turn away people who have found lost furry babies? I found a sweet..shy fella the other day. I was told they were full and couldn't accept him.. What happens then? I was then advised to go to Fairfield to the Solano Co. Animal Control place..I had never been nor did I know what to do when I got there..I just know I couldn't just leave this sweet dog alone or let him free..He was scared..hungry and thirsty. Such a sweetheart..

Do not do business with these people, read the reviews… They speak volumes, I went to the humane Society and paid for vouchers for my dogs, then they told me to call NAPA Humane Society to schedule an appointment, so I did, the Napa H.S. scheduled me an appointment, I showed up to the appointment with the vouchers in hand! and was told ( the day of!) That the vouchers were no longer valid. So we had to go through a different company and get vouchers somewhere else… The day of the procedure. These people will not refund me my money even though they took my money, then scheduled me for an appointment after the expiration date of the vouchers I just payed for. Neither Vallejo or Napa Humane Society ever mentioned to me that the vouchers I paid for would be expired on they day they made me an appointment.( why would u even do that?) so I don’t understand why my vouchers were not honored or my money was not returned for vouchers that I never used. They kept my money for a procedure that they never paid for… “Mary” the lady that handles the vouchers at Vallejo Humane Society, told me personally several times that she was going to talk to a board of people and see if she can get my money back and that she would call me back, of course this never happened so I had to hunt her down for about a week… Just for her to BS me about why I’m not getting my money back… don’t trust these people, obviously! Please go somewhere more reputable and that has better reviews. Sidenote, my mom used to work at this place, and said she had To quit because it was a toxic place, said everyone there is either doing nothing an getting payed for it for stealing from the Humane Society. So Basically these people don’t care about animals… Just the money they represent. people like this are sickening… I hope my money went to save a dog or a cat… And not in Mary’s pocket

It was a little hard to find and getting someone to open the front gate was challenging. But I got the attention of an employee and made my donation.

We adopted our dog here. Their adoption process is very fair and the staff truly want the best for the animals. Definitely recommend this shelter.

My dog got out and ended up here. They called me as soon as he came in. They were really caring and compassionate and I was reunited with my dog

I found everyone to be very helpful and their love of animals definitely shone through. The reason I had a bad experience was really not their fault. I was pet sitting a dog when I walked out the front door to find a Husky looking dog walking down the sidewalk with no owner in sight. She was very skittish and it took me quite a long time and a lot of cat food and treats (that's all I had handy in my car)to get her near enough to me to slip a lead onto her. This is where the frustration comes in. It was about 8:00 on a weeknight when I finally captured her. I am trying to call Animal Control and hold onto her at the same time. After multiple attempts i get an answering service operator who tells me he'll get a message to an animal control officer. I was never contacted by animal control. I had to keep her in my car overnight which she damaged my interior with scrathes and urine dispute repeated walks. Then I had to wait until 10:30am to get into the gates of humane society. It seems to me there's got to be a better way to help these dogs off the streets at night. What about a drop of cage? Otherwise people will just let them go.

Great place, no kill shelter. Animals seem very happy there. Wonderful staff. Need donations & blankets & pet food to keep their mission going!! Save an animal!

Everyone was very friendly and nice. The staff is very dedicated and hard working, especially when it comes to the care of the animals! If you are looking to adopt a pet the Humane Society is the way to go!!!!

The volunteers are great and very caring individuals! I'm so happy that I found the place by Googling for a particular dog breed, and there he was! We adopted a male dog thanks to the assistance of the volunteers. Thanks so much!you're all wonderful.

Our humane society is amazing. They put the animals first are very protective. They're helpful in matching , adoption was simple We love our Astro. This is a place worthy of even the smallest donations, things for pets or reg. monthly donations are put to good use

Has not visited the place for years. Lot's of dogs to choose from but aside from a older lady administrator, their volunteer's handling the animals are very cool.

These people care about the animals... I was so moves by the animals emotions... 1 adopted 2 dogs.. I love my new family... And I must say the employees really love the animals as their own.... The animal bio sheets were exactly what the animals personality displays.... They do take donations and the animals can use all they can get while waiting to be adopted... Food, leashes, bowls, cages... Or cash.... Please help the humane society in any way you can....

Great shelter, they really care about the animals. Their requirements for adoption are strict but it's what's best for the animals. Great place.
