We've been clients of BCC for almost twenty years. Finding a caring clinic to take care of our four legged children is more important than words can describe. If you love your cats as much as we love ours, you couldn't find a better place to care for your kitties.

I had taken my cats to this clinic since 1998. Unfortunately, after Dr. Brisbin retired and Dr. Rao took over, the clinic has gone downhill. They have suggested expensive tests that were found to be unnecessary when I obtained a second opinion. A friend of mine who also used to take her cats to this clinic was told by Dr. Rao that there was nothing she could do for her cat and suggested the cat be euthanized. She took her cat to another vet who ended up saving her cat’s life. I called today to get my cat in as she is very ill and has been going to that clinic since I got her 14 years ago. The woman who answered the phone was very unsympathetic and rude and refused to try to even try to get an expedited appointment for me. She was also extremely flippant. Most unprofessional. This clinic has lost me and two other friends as clients.

Easy, low key, knowledgeable and the staff are really great and responsive.

Lovely people, helpful and caring, very professional. The premises are made as calming for the cats (and their humans) as possible. And as a bonus there is ample parking, something that has sometimes been a problem with previous vet clinics we used.

We have been taking our cats to Benicia Cat Clinic for years for all of their medical needs. We, and they, appreciate that it is a cat-only clinic so that they don’t get as stressed having to smell those nasty dogs (their opinion, not mine). We always get professional and honest treatment and we highly recommend them. Also, if you need to drive across a toll bridge to get there they will reimburse the bridge fare if you tell them.

Dr. Rau is the BEST vet for cats! I started taking my cats there because one vet clinic could not diagnose my cat's problem and Dr. Rau knew what it was immediately! I have been with this clinic for 3 years now and love it!

Dr. Rau and the staff at the Benicia Cat Clinic are simply the best . I would not care to take my cats to anyplace else but here . The care and compassion that Dr. Rau and all of the technicians show to my beloved animals is simply second to none . I have been going to the Benicia Cat Clinic for over a decade now ; and cannot recommend them highly enough .

Dr. Rau and her staff are knowledgeable and caring. They are careful about presenting all options available for addressing a cats needs and never push. We are very happy with this vet's experience and manner. The only downside is that their business hours are currently limited to week days.

I trust that my cat’s wellbeing is always considered at Benicia Cat Clinic. Dr. Rau is a cat whisperer. Our cat had over 14 teeth extracted, and although it was emotional and expensive, our cat is thriving now. Recovery was great and there were zero setbacks. We are so grateful that the Cat Clinic is just down the road from us. Consider us customers for life.

Visited during Covid19 times. Everyone is wearing a mask, they only let 1 person in the lobby at a time, and have shields to protect the front desk personnel. Excellent service by Dr. Rau. My only complaint is that the vet tech who checked me out almost let me go home without the prescriptions I paid for. I had to prompt her to retrieve them for me.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Jennifer Rau! She is so knowledgeable, yet also practical and compassionate. She took wonderful care of our sweet Punkin with end-stage renal disease. She kept us informed of the disease progression, while allowing us room to make care decisions without guilt. She came to our home after-hours to put Punkin down as she knew how upsetting car rides were to her. She could not have been more compassionate in allowing us time to say our goodbyes, even though she must have had a long day at the office. Dr. Brisbin's shoes were hard to fill, but Dr. Rau has done so, admirably. We will take our kitties to no one else! Many thanks to Dr. Rau and her wonderful staff!

I had an emergency and the receptionist let me know there had been a cancellation. I was seen promptly. I have been going to the Benicia Cat Clinic for several decades. They are the best!

My cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I did not feel like we were getting the right care so we went to Dr. Rau. Not only did she help get Max's numbers under control, she gave us a sample of Churu. Max HATED his shots! He would hide after eating or get on his cat tree where I couldn't reach him. This treat absolutely changed the experience completely! I give his shot while he's eating that and he doesn't even flinch anymore! He knows he's getting the treat and now waits for it. No more trauma for either of us! Thanks Dr. Rau and the great team at Benicia Cat Clinic, you are the best!

Always accommodating and helpful.

Since 1992, without interruption, we have been taking our eight cherished cats to Benicia Cat Clinic and have been unfailingly supported throughout those years, as we worked to keep them healthy and long-lived! The entire staff is caring, focused, and incredibly knowledgeable! Benicia is blessed to have such devoted specialists attending our kitty cats!

The Benicia Cat Clinic is special. Dr Rai is so patient and gentle our little kitty will let her do anything. You can tell she herself loves cats, pretty important trait. Prior to our Neko she cared for Baby during her final years with us. She is a marvelous clinician, orders test when necessary, not all the time. When your Baby is really sick she comforts without being overly? We really love and appreciate Dr Rai and all of the staff.

Our cats’ health and happiness are always foremost at Benicia Cat Clinic. The Clinic staff are knowledgeable and up-to-date with medical and social needs, issues, and remedies for cats young and old. During visits we are never rushed and can ask all the questions we want. They are the perfect, trusted, medical forever friends for our cats!

I love BCC and Dr Rau. My little Juno likes going and is happy boarding there when I travel. Thank you BCC!

After years of taking my cats ???? to Benicia Cat ???? Clinic and having great service and treatment for my cats I'm pretty disappointed and let down ???? with them now. I called on Monday December 15th to get an appointment for my cat who was showing symptoms of a bladder infection which can be deadly. First off the woman who answered the phone didn't identify herself, then after I explained my situation she quickly stated that they couldn't help me, in other words they wouldn't see my cat, not for a bladder infection! She didn't ask my name or my cats name and was frankly not interested in helping me at all. I was surprised by her attitude and lack of empathy for my situation. Its disheartening to know that this person works for an otherwise great, professional, caring veteran as Dr. Rau, who l respect. I called All Creatures in Vallejo and not only were they helpful and got me in the next day they suggested another veteran hospital in Napa if my cats situation got worse. Wow ???? very cool ????. The woman I spoke to was nice, professional and helpful ???? ????. They saw my cat the next day and I was very impressed with the whole process. Talked to the doctor and vet technician who went over my cats ???? needs and recommendations. Sadly l don't think I'll be going back to Benicia Cat Clinic again. Maybe if the staffing improves.
