Amador Mobile Veterinary Vallejo, California

We moved to a new home right before the pandemic so we needed to find new vets for our babies. I took my Shepard to a local vet once but when I needed to refill his flea meds they wanted to do a whole new exam and then I couldn't get an appointment. None of the vets in the area would return calls and a lot of them weren't taking new clients. A neighbor recommended Dr. Amador and she responed right away. She came to see Tor and has treated him and our three felines for over a year now. She will tell it like it is but loves the animals she treats and won't bulllshit you. They work extremely long hours and have even swung by on a Sunday when Tor had an issue. Dr. Amador typically responds to texts in the evening.

This lady is a liar and a dog stealer she has spread our false information on my family trying to say we put our dog in very harsh conditions and did not care for our dog and stole our dog away from our family by telling us she was getting spayed and gave her away to a shelter and put a false image on us and is lying about her whereabouts when we’re trying to get her back if you have an animal in medical need please don’t go to this lady she is such a terrible person

Absolutely blown away by how rude this vet was! She came to my house once, and was late. The next time she had me come to her personal home in Glen Cove to pick up medication. While there she told me that the medication price had almost doubled and recommended I should try to find a cheaper source online. Fast forward to a couple months later when I needed a refill, I reached out to her and asked if I could get a written prescription for the medicated eye drops so that I could order them online, she reacted EXTREMELY aggressively and completely out of nowhere. Providing your primary vet's contact details when purchasing medication from a site like Chewy or Pet Care RX is the normal thing to do when ordering medicine online. (Hence why I felt the need to attach the screenshots of the texts in my review for reference.) When I asked what I did wrong, she called my phone and screamed at me. My mom and I were both in complete shock over how crazy she sounded. She screamed at me that she doesn't have time to read my texts or help, even though she WAS my dog's primary veterinarian. I only wish I had recorded the call for you all. I'm still in complete shock over the experience. Moral of the story- if you want a REAL VET who is actually organized and will provide the services that a vet is supposed to provide, DO NOT USE THIS WOMAN. You will not be satisfied with the service, and you will end up spending more money having to redo everything with a proper vet. She legitimately sounded like she was on drugs on the phone. Do not trust this vet.

The best experience we’ve had with any vet. So kind (to our pet AND kids). Also has followed up and answered all questions we’ve had via text/phone. Very lucky to have found!

I previously had an appointment set these ppl and the before I messaged them to see if they were still coming yet no response. I the day of my appointment they were late and made it sound like it was my fault that I had go e to the store because I assumed they were not coming due to no response. Also the last and her husband or boyfriend who she calls co-worker or partner both act like they've never treated my animals before when I have previous text and receipts. Think twice before seeing these ppl.

Highly recommend! Most professional, trust worthy and will do the right thing for your loved one. They are animal people! It’s not just about making money and big business. Anyone who has used them will give them a five star review for sure! This is exactly what Vallejo needs and I’m thrilled that they are locals.

Very loving towards my fur baby. Friendly. Knowledgeable . Explained everything they were going to do to Phoebe. Love them. Will be calling them again when I need a Travel Vet to come to my house.

My dog ripped a nail and had to have it pulled off. Vet was extremely personable, fast, and so good with my pup. So nice to have to go to an office. Highly recommended!

I could not recommend Amador Mobile Vet more! I had never had a vet come to my house, but my aging cat is very anxious and HATES going to a clinic. Now I'm never having anyone else care for my pets. Dr. Sonia is a true animal advocate, and I felt my cat was getting thoughtful and compassionate care. I pass their number to all my friends. Highly recommend!

This wonderful duo is amazing! We cannot say enough about them. They love and our empathetic to all dogs. They are accurate about diagnosis and are level headed about medications, food and treatments. Great prices and all in the privacy of your own home.

Excellent service and affordable pricing. Dr. Amador was friendly and attentive and spent lots of time with each of my three Labrador retrievers. This will be my new veterinarian in Walnut Creek from now on. And if we are lucky, they will open a clinic in our area sometime soon, but for now, we get superb care through their mobile vet service. I'm REALLY happy to have discovered them.

I can not thank Dr. Amador and her partner John for coming out and helping my senior dog. Our 17 year old girl's health had been declining over the past month and we knew we needed to euthanize her. Dr. Amador came to our home and provided a very compassionate and loving service.

My wife and I were extremely impressed by the professionalism, care and friendliness of both (Dr.) Sonja Amador and her partner John. They handled our very difficult-to-claw-clip cat superbly, so that the job got done with surprisingly little muss and fuss. Also provided some good feedback on a few minor matters we wanted advice about. We would of course expect a vet to have an animal-loving personality, but John is also a real cat whisperer in terms of putting our cat at ease and handling her. Plus their rates are reasonable. Really highly recommended!
