All my experiences had been great with this office up until December of 2021. I was shocked and still am shocked at the lack of training, negativity, and the attitude problem of their technician "Liz," as well as the complete absence of customer service given by their manager "Katherine," who clearly did not care to lose a long-time customer. To summarize, I brought my dog into this facility for her to be evaluated for a potential fracture after I had seen my dog limping around the house. The veterinarian Bird ordered x-rays and confirmed that she in fact had a fracture, that could only be fixed with surgery. My wife and I spoke with the vet about options and asked if the surgery could be done at their facility. We were told by vet Bird she could provide us the contact information for a traveling surgeon that sometimes did work for them, and this surgeon could discuss the risks with us further. There were many things we needed to consider such as cost and the risks associated with the surgery before agreeing, so we decided it would be best for her to splint our dogs leg in the meantime until we learned more about what should be done from the surgeon. Later, we learned that they would not give us the traveling surgeon's contact information as vet Bird has initially told us, and that only the vet would communicate with him about the issue. What happened next was extremely disturbing and I think that no customer deserves to be treated with such a level of disrespect, let alone a long-time customer of 5+ years. When I arrived for the follow-up, I was met by "Liz," one of their vet technicians that had a major attitude problem from the very first word she spoke to me. She appeared to be extremely agitated for no apparent reason. By observing her demeanor, I got the impression that she was overwhelmed with the amount of work they had and to put it mildly was very unpleasant. After she approached me to check my dog in, I explained the situation to "Liz" and asked if I could talk to vet Bird to know how my dog's leg was healing and to talk to her about the traveling surgeon because I had not heard back. "Liz" immediately shot back with an aggressive tone demanding to know whether I had decided to go through with the surgery or to splint my dog's leg. I explained everything to her, that we were waiting to hear from the surgeon before we could make a final decision to know all of the risks involved but that we were never contact with the surgeon's information at their facility. She was extremely rude and dismissive toward me telling me they had already recommended other surgeons. I explained to her that we spoke with other surgeons, but they were booked for many months in advance and told her it was all likely a miscommunication. I called my wife on the phone so she could explain the situation to her as well, and "Liz" repeatedly interrupted my wife while she was speaking and was very combative even though my wife was polite toward her. Instead of providing good customer service like a professional, "Liz" was actually arguing with us. Something I have never seen at any professional establishment in my life. Eventually, “Liz” told us that if we did not trust them to check our dog’s bandages we should essentially leave and find somewhere else to go. My wife was shocked as she listened on the phone, and immediately told me we could no longer put our dog’s health in their hands after this type of treatment. To make things short, I asked for my dog's medical records and when "Liz" came outside to give them to me I told her I felt I was being disrespected and was mistreated as a long time customer. Instead of acting like a professional, "Liz" again was combative and defensive arguing with me in front of other customers that were waiting outside in their cars. She eventually yelled STOP! and disappeared inside of the office. This reflects very poorly on this office because an employee is a representation of your business. Please do yourself a favor and find yourself a veterinarian that employs professionals.

Thank you so much. They are very professional, kind, and take great care of your pets. I have a sensitive little chihuahua, and she left the office happy and comfortable. I have been here twice and both times were great! I definitely recommend this place!

I just moved to the area and was excited to see that this vet had positive reviews. Unfortunately, my first experience has been less than ideal. Took my two dogs in. One needed a check-up and the other needed a simple prescription refill. Since it was his first visit, he also had a check-up. Dr. Raja and I agreed that he would continue his medication and his prescription would be ordered and should arrive in a couple of days. A few days passed and I followed-up on the refill. After providing my and my dog’s information, the tech asked what prescription I was calling about. I was told they had no record of a prescription refill in my dog’s file and the prescription was not ordered. She would check with Dr. Raja and get back to me the following business day. The following business day came and went without an update on my dog’s prescription so I ,again, followed-up. I was, again, asked what prescription I was calling about. Mind you, my dog is on one medication. I was then told the prescription was in. When I asked the tech how long they had had the prescription, the tech had no idea. My dog has been on this particular prescription since he had a cancerous tumor removed a few months ago, so I would’ve hoped that this office would have deemed it important that my dog have his medication. Clearly they didn’t. In my experience, this office has been careless and unprofessional. The techs come off super friendly, but their carelessness and lack of attention to detail and follow-up, shows it’s a farce. If there’s this many issues with a simple prescription refill, I’m concerned with taking my dog here if there was a more serious issue. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this place.

It was our first time going in hand I will never be returning!! We were looking for a good vet around this area that we just moved to and we decided to give this place a try but as soon as I got there I noticed how DIRTY this place is! The muzzle that was given to me by one of the vet assistants was filthy and the assistant tried to argue and gave her unnecessary input on how it’s not dirty when it was clearly sticky and gross inside the muzzle.. We told her that we can’t have that muzzle on our dog because it is dirty and she said that well regardless if it’s dirty it Has to be on so she didn’t even want to clean or sanitize the product in front of us.. We did not even get our dog checked because I noticed that the room that they put him in was not cleaned previously and this place is just a dirty mess! Take your money elsewhere these people cannot be trusted with your pet!!!!

First time puppy parents and first time emergency for our dog Luna. Luna had lacerations and needed stitches. Right when the doctor steps in to see her, Dr. Bird took her time examining Luna carefully and spoke to us about what the next steps for her. Dr. Bird made a reasonable estimate compared to the emergency clinic we went to and made it really affordable for us to get our girl fixed up. Surgery was successful and Dr. Bird showed us what was done during the surgery through photos and carefully explained what she stitched and stapled up. She told us what to expect and how to care for her the next following weeks. The staff are friendly and lively. They seem to care about their patients. The facility is spacious and clean. I do love that throughout the day the staff and Dr. Bird would call us to update us on Luna’s results. Instantly made us feel comfortable. Thank you guys!

I have been taking both of my dogs here for three years now. I am both happy and impressed with the quality of care they receive and the staff employed at We Talk Pets. They’ve always been straightforward when it comes to best care and work with me to help make the important decisions to keep my dogs healthy. We love them!

My dog keeps getting treated for an ear infection that’s not going away. He can’t walk he falls down and these ppl keep giving him the same medication and it’s not working. And they keep charging me for the same course of treatment that hasn’t worked! They want me to bring him in and going to charge me again becuse he’s not getting better he’s still falling and hes dizzy!! It’s soo sad how the take advantage of ppl who just want their dogs to get better!! I’ll def be going to the better business bureau and file w complaint

My cat is sick called to see if there was an appointment for as soon as possible they said they only had a Saturday which was 3 days away or I can just walk in and pay a emergency fee I made the appointment but that day my baby was feeling bad so I decided to do a walk in early in the morning then when I got there I was outside I called to see how they work because of COVID if I walk in or wait and all they told me was only appointments but on the website it says walk ins and the lady who answered before told me to walk in and pay so I let her know the situation of how he was vomiting and I’m worried and she said only appointments and I don’t have any right now . Not helpful at all and bad communication

Went at 8 AM to get my dog spayed, and automatically greeted by woman with attitude. Didn't break down any information to me. I went back to pick up my dog earlier than expected because THEIR blood work machine wasn't working. So, automatically, they want to send my dog's blood work to a blood lab which costed me almost 200 dollars more, and I still will need to get her blood work done again (and pay for it AGAIN) when she ACTUALLY gets spayed. When I went to pick up my dog, it was the same woman with the same attitude. She wasn't professional and very disrespectful. Right when she walked half way out the door, she asked for payment instead of breaking down what happen with my dog. I asked her if she could break down what was happening, because I didn't have a full understanding. She constantly rolled her eyes at me, and never fully answered the question. I asked if I was paying more, and she seemed bothered to even answer the question. She walked inside to finish my payment and I was on the phone complaining about how I was treated. As I was on the phone, she walks out and says "I can hear everything that you are saying" She starts argue because I am complaining about her. She starts saying I am making accusations and she is the manager about who knows what. She goes inside to get my dog. As she has my dog on the leash, she is aggressively pulling my dog. SHE AGGRESSIVELY PULLED MY DOG LEASH BECAUSE MY DOG GOT EXCITED TO SEE ME. (MY DOG IS A SMALL TERRIER MIX) SPAYING MY DOG WENT FROM $300 TO $500. I've never had any problems with any staff, have always loved this vet. This woman ( she didn't give her name) has made not want to come back to this animal hospital)

I began bringing my dogs to Dr Raj since he first opened his practice at this Upland location. He is a very good, knowledgeable, caring, and courteous veterinarian. My dogs are always happy and comfortable around Dr Raj and his staff. The place is also clean and spotless and never smells like some other veterinarian offices. Dr Raj always provides great complete care for my dogs.

Dr Raj is always so compassionate towards our Lucy and very straightforward when it comes to treatment of our pet Lucy. Yesterday 10/9/2019 she was sick with vomiting and bloody stool and we were so worried about her and Dr Raj assured us this was more then likely the result of something she ate that irritated here digestive system. He never try’s to run up a bill like other Vets we’ve used he only recommended necessary treatment and Lucy is fine today 10/10/2019. No more fever and she is Eating and her regular self again thank you Dr. Raj and staff. I would definitely refer We Talk Pets to all my friends and family they have been so good to both our Cat Max and Our Dog Lucy. Bob & Renee Jimenez Rancho Cucamonga

Anytime you need a vet is stressful, but Dr Raj and staff are amazing! They are open late and even on weekends- and have often stayed after closing to take care of my cat Hodor. I've been bringing my cat here for a few years and have NO complaints. Everyone is welcoming and expresses genuine concern for pets. I never doubt that my baby cat will get the best care when he is there.

EDIT****Always great customer service even after i changed my mind 3 times and they take care of my pet, give me plenty of payment options as well. Never had a problem. Thank you guys! I’m changing it to one star because they seemed to not care about my pet after I had just spent $180 on meds. Literally hours after I bought that medicine my cat started having seizures, very bad like multiple seizures in an hour. So I call them scared and not knowing what to do, (since it seemed like I just bought this medicine for different reasons) I tell them what’s going on and the nurse says she’ll let the doctor know and he’ll give me a call back. No call back. We call back again the next day to ask them how much it will be for blood work in order to get medicine for seizures and they couldn’t give us an answer. So we kindly ask them to give us a call back please whenever they find out how much and they still never called us back. How can a veterinarian hospital not even give us a call back for a cat having MULTIPLE SEIZURES IN AN HOUR. Definitely seemed like they did NOT care about our pets and it pisses me off, my cat is now dead and we had to put her to sleep days after that and I wish I would’ve never taken them to this place

My mom and I had to take our very hyper dog to We Talk Pets for a toe nail that grew into the pad of this weird extra toe he had. The assistant came in and of course our dog wanted to slather him with kisses and started jumping all over him. The assistant was very loveable back to him and our dog made a new friend. Then the Veterinarian came in as well and our dog lost his mind with "Oh boy everyone is here to see me!!!!!" he couldn't stay still long enough for them to check him out. Should I jump on them? Should I lick them to death! Should I fall on the floor and swim on my back? Who's lap should I leap into? The Vet and the assistant both got on the floor and our dog went ballistic! But the Veterinarian and the assistant were very good with him! What I thought was going to turn into a forced pinning my dog down to check him out and a suggested removal of the extra toe turned out to be a very simple procedure. The Vet also noticed something we did not which was a small ear infection. Everything was so easy, so non complicated and so compatible for our dogs personality. All we could say when our dog went crazy was "Welcome to our world," and they made themselves a part of it. By the end of the visit our dog acted like he lived there and actually whimpered when the assistant left the room to get his medication. Of course the assistant was full of slobber before we left but the Vet and the assistant were amazing and we will definitely continue going there in the future!

My four-pawed family has been going to see Dr. Raja and the amazing team at We Talk Pets since their office first opened. We love the hours, prices, and most importantly, the friendly atmosphere. I am always impressed with Dr. Raja when he checks in with us about our pets after they'd been ill or injured. He was also accommodating when it came time to euthanize the eldest members of our pet family. The team (and I'm sorry I can't recall everyone's name at the moment) are professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. We've received cards of condolences following the passing of our cats and you can tell it was sincere. Additionally, the office is clean (I'm always seeing someone taking the time to wipe up slobber or urine, and I've seen them move the furniture and equipment to sweep). Because we like We Talk Pets! so much, we even feel comfortable bringing our extended furry family in for care. Our family appreciates it and our pets are healthier for it. Thank you!
