I am so grateful for the people at this office. I brought my dog in earlier this year after another vet misdiagnosed her with pink eye. Turns out she has severe glaucoma and some other stuff and she needed her eye removed. It was very sad and stressful news to hear but the doctor, vets, and receptionist are so kind and compassionate so that helped a lot with the experience. Now her other eye has issues so we continue to see them and they are just the best. They answer any questions or concerns right away. My dog hates going to the vet but she loves to come to eye care for animals because everyone who works there is so sweet with her and they always remember us by name in person and on the phone. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Robertson, Christine, Nick and the staff at Eye Care for Animals Upland. After a recent turbulent visit with our primary vet left us deciding we'll no longer be clients of theirs, we are extremely grateful for the care, attentiveness, and efficiency that you all offered us at our visit with you. Thank you for also being personable during these still odds times of curbside and telemedicine services. We are grateful for you all and to now have a plan of action regarding our pup's uveal cyst. Thank you!

I brought my dog in December for a cherry eye. They gave me a quote for surgery that would be almost $2000 and said to follow up in February. I never received a call or appointment time for the follow up. I call in March and left a voicemail, never got a response. Then I call again to speak with Nick. Who has a horrible attitude and tone. Tells me I need to reschedule a consult, but I moved and there is a closer location to me. I tell him I do not appreciate his attitude, and he calls me back to just say OH MY GOD. So unprofessional and double downed on it. I will gladly give another location my money than to speak with Nick again.

Pleasant experience- during this covid time not being able to meet in person with the Dr isn’t a good impression, however after speaking on the phone with her, she was very polite and answered all my questions even better she impressed me with her confidence. The staff was kind and caring again answered all my questions and made every attempt to reassure me. I really appreciate the professionalism and the patience they demonstrated. It was icing on the cake when I picked up my cat after surgery he was sitting up in his crate and not all druggged up. I must say I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. I’m grateful they took care of my Samuel. I look forward for him to completely heal. After 2 days he is good 12 more to go.

My dog injured her eye somehow and it did not heal on it own. After the Vet, we were referred here. Great staff who were patient and compassionate about our dog. She is not the best mannered dog, but they were able to take a look at her and perform the surgery. Kate R. Was her surgeon and our dog healed perfectly after two weeks of a cone and eye drops. Follow up surgeries were covered under the estimate so we didn’t get a surprise bill Thank you to the supporting staff and vets at this location!

I have to say that I have been extremely disappointed in the quality of service that I received at this location on multiple occasions. Most recently, I tried to refill my prescription for my dog and was immediately told that I would need to make an appointment. Though I didn't have any qualms with making the appointment, I have other obligations including work that would make it difficult to meet within their scheduled dates for this coming holidays. I kindly asked that they schedule me for an appointment after New Years while also requesting a refill for the current prescription. The doctor refused to even refill the prescription for my dog which is ludicrous. Is it so unreasonable to get a refill on the prescription that lasts until the appointment is made? On top of that, the service and temperament towards customers has been disappointing on multiple occasions. I understand that they are busy, but they display a lack of empathy and care within their actions within each interaction. I really question their sense of morality with how they treat pet owners. I will not even go into my other negative experiences a this location. But I do not recommend this location and am currently looking into a new location.

Everyone so courteous. Attenden to my "Grandbabys" need and straight foward. Wait time because we were walkins not noticeble at ALL. Take your babies for ALL EYE CARE. Everyone is AMAZING!

It is rare when you find a veterinarian so knowledgeable and yet so kind. She immediately made me feel comfortable and more importantly she made my senior dog feel comfortable as well. She was gentle and kind yet extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend them.

So this was my first visit, I have to say that they were friendly, thorough, and speedy. The vet was especially friendly and I enjoyed speaking with her very much. They were having some computer issues but handled it well. I give them a 4 star rating for the price. I think the cost of healthcare for pets in general has gotten out of control just like human healthcare, but that's a rant for another time. No vet or hospital will ever get above a 4 star rating from me due to price these days.

Dr. Calvarese and her staff took great care of our Husky. He needed laser surgery for a cancerous lesion on his iris and they were able to get him in right away.

If there's another eye care for pets near by, I will switch in a heart beat. Vet is fine, but front desk staff is cold as ice, not caring for the welfare of pets at all. Wonder why she chooses this profession. Must be just a job for herm

The Dr. Calvarese and her staff are excellent they are very knowledgeable and detailed in explaining everything to you. My dog had to have 1 eye removed as she was blind in that eye when I adopted her. She is only 4 and as Dr Calvarese said she would be more energetic because there was a lot of pressure in the blind eye and she was right my dog loves to play and is playing a lot more than she had. This is my first bout with an animal that had to have an eye removed, I would definitely recommend this Dr.

Animals need eye care too and the staff here are the absolute best! So knowledgeable and very caring. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur babies eye care.

New patient. Very nice informative and compassionate. Didn't charge for anything extra. Affordable. Was able to fit me in as a walk in on a busy day for them. Thank you everyone
