Amazing service from the start of a phone call to check in to check out, you could tell everyone truly cares for the patients, I highly recommend this pet hospital.

I used to live within walking distance from this amazing clinic, the entire staff was happy to have my dog Hiro walk though just because he wanted to. They would walk him through and do it with a smile. Dr. Hata was amazing with all his treatments. I would bring him back when I moved to San Jose because I knew they absolutely loved him and all the fur babies that came in. I have cats now and will bring them there for all of their needs. They are phenomenal!

They were absolutely awesome. From the moment we walked in you can feel the welcome and the furry kids also felt it. What great staff to have take care of your pets and I'm glad I found a new place for mine. Thanks to the staff.

The staff is friendly and competent. The doctors are carrying and knowledgeable. They are good at following Covid protocols.

Been bringing my dog here since 2017. They love my Momodogz and he loves them. The VCA care club is a great way to give your dog the best care while not having to have to worry about large vet bills through a monthly payment plan. They can also groom your dog and board them.

I have a member with Vca all pets in SF and I moved recently and this place doesn’t see birds and rabbits??? Tf, “all pets” huh…if they are the same vet company why doesn’t this place see “ALL PETS” like there name clearly suggest

We took in our foster kitten today as she had developed Conjuctivitis. I was able to get an appointment for 2p.m. I was worried that we would be turned away from the service as we didn’t have his medical record. We were taken in shortly by Ashley I believe who was very friendly and explained us well. Dr. Hata was amazing on the phone who briefly explained what was going on. Thank you for the amazing service today. I look forward to bringing both of my kittens for future services.

My kitty has been groomed at this location for over 6 years and hasn't had any problems except the last three visits. The new office manager is very rood and spent great amount of time telling me they haven' changed anything, and the groomers have told me they used unscented shampoo. But last three visits there has been a change. Used to have a medical smell I could tolerate. This one has a scent. I was told to buy my own shampoo and if I wanted her re-shampooed I had to buy my own for future visits or find another groomer.

Reliable and with the bonus of considerate vet techs, VCA All About Pets is our home base for veterinary services.

I love VCA all about pets. The team has always taken great care of my dogs and they genuinely care and remember us (not just reading notes off a chart). Dr Hata and Dr Krauss have both helped us and they are both great and knowledgeable. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a vet to come here

Took our cat to this hospital nearly 3 years ago on Sunday when most of the other pet hospitals were either closed or booked. Our cat wasn’t feeling well, he received an exam and medical treatment right away. The doctor and the staff were friendly and professional, listened to all my consents and took time to answer all my questions. Couple days after the visit we received a call from the hospital - they wanted to make sure that our boy was getting better (he did get better in few days). Very sweet of them. And just today, almost 3 years after the visit, I reached out to the hospital via email asking for the copy of my cat’s medical records from that one visit and they emailed me a very detailed after visit summary within 30 minutes! Honestly, I’m impressed because I also asked for my cat’s medical records from another local veterinary about 3 weeks ago, called them 3 times to remind about it and still haven’t received any of it. Thank you VCA for doing great job!

Dr. Hata is the best. All the VCA clinics are on the expensive side. The Drs at this VCA have always been good. Dr. Freeman opened this clinic years ago. I have continued to go there since he sold it and then left because I like the Drs.

Moved back to the Bay Area from OC and needed a vet. I came to All About Pets after a horrible experience with Unipet. I was recommended this vet because our vet in OC was also VCA. It was a great first experience. They were very careful with my two huskies, prices were what I was used to, and the treatment was fairly quick and painless. They even gave us a first visit goody bag and my youngest pup loves the toys included. Definitely recommending this place to my fellow dog owners.

Terrible experience..made an appt to put my dog to sleep I specifically asked Allison if they would try and talk me out of it...she assured me they wouldn't...well they did and the Dr. wouldn't put her to sleep..she's 16 and miserable...now I have to take her somewhere else..

I've had five cats now (not all at once, I'm no cat lady!) see Dr. Hata. She's great and so is everyone who works there. Of course, the cats would probably say she's not their favorite person in the world, though they generally hate the technicians even more.

Impressed with the expertise of Dr. Hatta and the efficiency of all her staff. Our first visit was wonderful!! They even checked in with us the following day to ensure our kitten Cleo was doing ok after getting her rabies shots! Recommend this hospital whole heartedly.

This is our regular go to place for both pet boarding and vet appointments. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also follow up pretty consistently after a pet boarding or vet visit. Happy to go there. No complaints so far.

One of the most disappointing place to ask for help when your pet is sick. After 3 weeks, a whole portion of pills and other medicines I show up to ask for help since there is no progress on my pet issue and a very rude conversation with front desk stuff, trying to schedule for a week later, finally they fit in a next day appointment (thanks for that!!) I show up 10 minutes late and they canceled for those 10 minutes late... What about my 3 weeks and $$$ all the money waisted to waiting to heal my pet. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL especially when is a health matter.

I initially chose VCA All About Pets Animal Hospital some years ago because they had great hours, friendly staff, and what I thought was a good doctor. But when my 1 year old cat suddenly became ill, VCA really let me down. I took him in right away, which was on a Wednesday. They did an exam and sent him home, with what I later discovered was a misdiagnosis. Then by Friday my cat had become even more sick. I took him back, and we discussed the tests that they wanted to do: an x-ray and blood tests. Now, because I live on a limited income, I could only afford one test or the other, because part of my vet fund had already been spent on the visit 2 days previously, and VCA absolutely refused to set up a payment plan for the $100+ for the second test, so I was forced to choose which test to do. Having said that, I felt, based on my personal knowledge and experience, that a blood test would provide more information than the X-ray, and this is the test I was pushing for. However, VCA felt differently based on their expertise and ultimately talked me out of the blood tests I wanted and into the x-ray they wanted. The x-ray revealed nothing of any value and I was sent home with a laxative for my cat and prescription food, which he absolutely refused to eat. And my precious vet fund was now wiped out. Another 2 days passed and now it was a Sunday. My cat was severely ill by this time, and I had no choice but to rush him to the emergency vet. Because I didn't have the funds for this, I was forced to increase my credit limit on my Care Credit Card, which I knew I could not afford. After running blood and urine tests, my cat was FINALLY given the correct diagnosis of renal failure. Sadly his BUN and creatine levels "were inconsistent with life" at this time. I truly believe, that the severity of this condition could have been avoided or his kidney failure even been prevented all together had VCA properly diagnosed my cat from the beginning. But, they misdiagnosed him TWICE. Sometimes it is not such a bad thing to listen to a pet parent, or do as they ask. Sometimes we know a thing or two as well. I've since changed vets to a place that is far more concerned about the animal's welfare over profits, take the time to actually listen to the pet parent, are very respectful to the human and compassionate to both the human and animal. Live in peace my baby at the Rainbow Bridge. Edit to respond to the response of my review: I found it interesting that I was referred to speak with the very same person who denied me any assistance with a payment plan for my now dead cat. Somehow, I just feel like talking to Jennifer would be a total waste of my time. She was very well aware of my situation and still refused the help I needed. BTW, I am a pet sitter for residents throughout this area, and when pet parents do not have a vet, I do refer them to other vets, and make sure they steer clear of this vet. So...do not think for one minute I am taking the death of my cat lightly.
