Dr. Craig and her team were very empathetic and forward thinking to my new rescue's existing condition. It was very easy to make appointments, notify the staff that I was there, and the staff was communicative through the whole process.

The Angels who work here are amazing. They cared for my fur baby.

Could not be happier. Our dog had an ACL injury. Our vet recommended a "travelling" Ortho vet who would come to their place and do the surgery. He refused to do an initial consultation so we could discuss options and the sense we got was we would never see him again. We asked around and had several people recommend this place as the best Ortho vet in the area. The price here was only about 20% more than the "travelling" guy. The consultation was brief but thorough. The surgery went flawlessly. The follow up was excellent. And, most importantly, Ollie is doing great!!

My go to for our rescue group's tough cases - especially orthopedic. Saved limbs of our kitties that other vets said could not be. I recommend you every chance I get. Upfront, professional, expertise!

Dr. Cambridge did a wonderful job on removing my labs tumor on his tail. He was able to do full skin closure on the tail which helped with wound healing. He was very professional and had great communication. The staff were great too.

Dr. Diane Craig did two TPLO surgeries for my fur baby. Pricey but I had complete faith in her abilities and that gave me peace of mind. A few years forward my girl is 8 and running and playing with the other pups. I have recommended her to other friends.

You guys saved my dogs life. He deteriorated before our eyes and we had no hope left until a last step effort we were able to get him in with you. Your prices are reasonable and you did an absolutely amazing job. Amazing experience.

I will never take my pets anywhere else. This place is amazing!!! All staff are great and extremely Caring when the uncertainty and some level of fear is present with our pets possible condition when taking them to a Veterinary facility. Compassion is another word to use for the skills and time they take to explain things thoroughly and in layman's terms from of all the employees at this facility. They know we have questions and answer them with professionalism no matter how many times a day they might hear the same question. That's what makes the difference with the "caring" comments I've left. These people know we are concerned pet "parents" and they treat our "kids" with care, compassion and respect. Thank you VSS crew and Dr.s!!!! Dr Tony Cambridge is the surgeon that worked on my dog and multiple friends dogs. He’s is one of the best orthopedic surgeons around and it shows.

This place is amazing when it comes for caring for your pets. Dr. Sebastyen is top notch. I've had two pups tested here for 2 separate issues and both continue to live happy heartily lives

We were very happy with our pup Maddie's surgeon Dr. Sebestyan, and all the staff that helped take care of her while she recovered for the first 4 days following total hip replacement surgery. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and responsive.

My 3yrs old pitbull Hayden is being treated here for multiple joint/ joint displacement issues. Dr Sebestien and his staff are very attentive to not only his needs, but mine as well. Dr. Sebestien is very knowledgeable. He also did not require more xrays, testing, MRI or ct beyond what has already been done (which was alot) at my regular vet. I was so happy to hear that! Since seeing Dr Sebestien, Hayden has only had to take 1 pain pill since starting the medication regimen prescribed. This is super great for not only him bit for us as well. He is a much happier doggie now that his pain is lessened. Thank you Dr Sebestien!!! October 22, 2021 Hayden very recently underwent surgery on both knees. I am overwhelmed at the care he has received. We were notified when surgery started by a nurse and received a call from Dr Sebesten when surgery was over. We were given over night access to Hayden via txt messaging with the night nurses. They were so sweet. Gave us updates on his walking, eating, resting etc. I am very pleased with the care we all received. Thank you Dr. Sebesten and staff

The knowledge and attentiveness has been wonderful and really instills confidence that our dog is in the best hands and well taken care of. The communication has been amazing along with the ease and quickness of reaching someone with questions or to get updates. Additionally, all the processes in place for COVID have been extremely efficient and helpful for a family that often needs to social distance due to our dog's personality anyway.

I can't say enough about how amazing the staff is at VSS! So happy to have found you. My dog has had multiple surgeries here and I’m so pleased with the level of care and customer service that is rare these days. Thanks VSS for a wonderful experience for both of us ????????!

I am amazed and very grateful for their quick service when my puppy ( Schipperke) had a bee sting.

BEWARE. This place wants money that’s it. Be weary. They suggest TPLO & TTA. they’re unwilling to perform procedures that are UNDER their 5,000 dollar program quota; when you call they will tell you we suggest TPLO OR TTA both procedures will be 5500 and some change with meds included. Girls at the desk are smug and unprofessional. I’ll pay anything no problem. 10 grand 20 grand. But I wont be cutting my dogs bone in 3 places when his leg is atrophied and could potentially be a catalyst for catastrophic failure. They should know better. Plenty of kind orthopedic surgeons who will do their due diligence who care about the patient not the patients pockets.

Dr Sebestyen, thank you for everything you did ! We found out our sweet boy had a liver shunt (portosystemic shunt). I cant express how difficult it was to find a surgeon who does liver shunt surgery, I had called almost every specialist hospital and many doctors didn’t perform this surgery surprisingly . I was so blessed to have come across VSS, I knew from the start that this is the hospital and the doctors he is going to are expertise for this surgery , I felt at ease knowing he’s comming here,. This was a major surgery and it was very nerve wrecking knowing my boy would be having this surgery. From meeting Dr Sebestyen he was so nice. He explained everything thoroughly to me and answered every question and concern I had which was so reassuring to me. I will forever thank Dr. Sebestyen for doing this surgery. He even put him on pre medication before surgery to make his body ready! And I can tell you the other hospital I had spoken prior to VSS never mentioned anything about pre medication. That’s how you know VSS are thinking ahead of taking care of their patients . Right after surgery was finished Dr Sebestyen called me himself and gave us an update. Which was amazing to hear this from the actual doctor. The over night Nurse Keli was wonderful as well! I had called every couple hours throughout the entire night and she gave me updates and even sent me pictures and would text me back right away, she was very sweet. Thank you Keli for taking such good care on him! Overall staff is nice and I would definitely recommend here for surgery. Thank you again Dr. Sebestyen you are the best!

My dog needed TPLO surgery. It took a while to get a consultation, but the surgery was scheduled right away and follow up appointments have been easy to get. The staff is very caring during these COVID challenging times.

I have had the best experience with VSS. They fixed my doggy’s leg/knee…actually corrected a surgery that was previously done. I wish I had came to vss first or sooner but glad they were able to correct the problem. Glad to see my dog walking on 4s again. Professionalism and correcting a botched surgery is what I got from them. They also took great covid precautions. Can come across quick and insensitive but I understood. Nurses were nice and explained things. Dr. Craig at consultation was confident she could correct the surgery. Told me the hardware from previous surgery were too tight making leg unusable. She gave me a call after the surgery. I saw a difference immediately in the leg. Long recovery ahead but I see the progress. my biggest problem is slowing the dog down. Lol Also Loved they kept my dog overnight for observation and a sent pic (added). Previous surgery they sent her home same day..and that night was so stressful watching her. Great experience overall.

All of the staff is outstanding surgery day and night with photos, etc. Dr Cambridge is an outstanding surgeon and explained everything to me. I am so happy he convinced me that my bulldog needed his pallet fixed during his bladder stone removal. It took a few extra minutes and it changed my dogs life. If he had not explained to me why a bulldog under anesthesia is a high risk, I would not have added a simple thing as pallet surgery. His recovery was easy. We are so happy with the no incision procedure for pallet and tiny incision for the neuter and bladder stones. Cannot say enough good things about this place, and Dr. Cambridge

This place took care of our doggie that broke his leg. When we had surgery it was done very well they took very good care of our dog each week as we went back to get a cast change the staff was very friendly and very prompt. Would highly recommend

The staff was loving and caring but also very professional and how they would handle my dog through the surgery. They kept me informed by calling me at home and letting me know how he was doing and what time to come the next day to pick him up. I highly recommend the veterinary Surgical Specialists for any of your precious animals to be treated

Every step of our journey with VSS was great. They gave me peace of mind during a stressful time and provided my dog with quality care. Dr. Sebestyen was wonderful and a caring surgeon.

Dr. Cambridge, the nurses and staff are exceptional. Dr. Cambridge performed a high risk surgery on my 7 year old 3 pound dog with a Porto systemic shunt. She is now thriving. He absolutely deserves the reputation he has. The nurses were also outstanding. I could call and check in 24/7 and they would text me pictures of her as well. I felt complete confidence in them and appreciate the care and time they spent with us through this experience. Highly recommended this practice.

Beyond happy with how well they cared for our dog before, during, and after her total hip replacement. The care each member showed for Brody was amazing! Each team member was professional and easy to work with. You can tell they are the best around and truly care for each animal that comes through the door. Was told by a local vet that our 7 year old Briard would lose the ability to walk sooner than later and there was nothing to be done. After doing research we went to VSS and they did a total right hip replacement. Recovery took about 3 months total but she can now run, jump, go on hikes, and herd sheep again.

We were very impressed with the Excellent care Jasmine received when she had her surgery. The staff was so kind, caring, and compassionate. The doctor did a fantastic job on her surgery.. we could not have asked for better service. The whole staff there is excellent and I Highly recommend them

I drove more than an hr back and forth to get surgery consultation with Dr. Diane Craig. It was curbside pick up and phone consultation so they took my cat in, shortly after, Dr called me and said the cat needs surgery, without explaining any circumstances, side effects nor precautions. I asked few questions and the Dr wanted to keep it short and wanted to end the call. I asked another question and Dr said she will meet me at the front, I thought she wanted to talk to me in person. Instead her assistant came with the surgery quote. (I don't even know how they made that quote that fast) and even gave me the surgery date. This is a very sensitive and critical surgery and how do they even expect me to decide without even answering my questions? I just paid the consultation fee of $125 and left. I checked my phone, the minute that I spoke with the Dr for the "surgery consultation" was less than 5 min. So I drove more than 2 hours, took my scared cat all over there, and got 4min consultation and paid $125. Wow, that was easy huh? I would never go to this place again.

I am so pleased with this practice. We took my golden here for a lap-spay with Dr. Sebastian. The communication has been amazing and the care you gave Jovie was outstanding. The communication from surgeon and staff were thorough. The caring nature of your night nurses especially put my mind at ease when my baby came out of surgery. She sent me photos and videos and didn't rush me off of the phone. You daytime nurses were lovely as well. If my dogs every need this type of service again, I won't hesitate to return.
