Dr. Daniel was a comfort to our family in helping our dear Charlie cross the rainbow bridge. It was a sorrowful and painful moment but he made it more bearable. Thank you.

All personnel were very professional, courteous and sensitive at such a stressful time. We would recommend if someone asked us if we were content with their services.

Runs her operation as a business and nothing more than that. She has no compassion for a grieving dog parent. Stay away… she’s talking advantage of people .

This lady is a piece of garbage, I called her and she immediately starts asking me how much my dog weighs, cremation options if i want a paw print etc.. she started off at 875 and took it over a 1,000 dollars, she wanted me to Carry my 70 pound dog to her car otherwise she was going to charge me for 2 people at 75 a piece, then she said if i wanted a sedative that would be an extra 80 dollars and I was told by EVERYONE not using a sedation drug is out right mean!!! It was all business to her and that's sad.. everyone else i called were cheaper and nicer then her. Look around there are plenty out there that actually show some compassion.

I reached out to Home Pet Euthanasia a few months ago when I thought it was time. They were helpful, compassionate, sweet and understanding on the phone. When it was time to make the decision, they helped in so many ways. Dr. Daniel was very sweet and gentle. He explained everything about the procedure in a very sensitive way. We are very fortunate to have had Dr. Daniel help us. Our sweet dog felt at home with him. It was a very difficult time and he allowed us the space and time to say goodbye and grieve the final breathe. Thank you

We never imagined we’d need this service, but given the choice of “abandoning” our puppy to move on alone in a vet’s office or at home with us, the choice was clear. Every interaction I had with HPE was compassionate, professional, and somehow they just “knew” what you needed: more or less info, more or less time, more or less reassurance. Our baby received excellent care and was always treated with utmost respect. She was not distressed or lonely. HPE provided the best possible outcome for a heartbreaking choice. I grew up in a part of the country where pet euthanasia is not available at home, and I’m so glad HPE could help us make a different choice with our fur baby.

Euthanizing a pet is never a fun experience however it can be a quality one. Dr. Meg Sulzen responded the same day as I requested and provided me with all of the necessary paperwork prior to her arrival. I can't think of a better place for my dog to come to the end of her life than at home and Meg provided it. What I received from the crematorium was excellent and more than what I was expecting. It was a good value to me, to be able to make my decision on a day to day basis. I was not going to schedule my dogs euthanasia a week in advance. Same day is more than I could ask for. Thank you very much. I hope I never have to use them again however if the time comes to put down a pet, they are the only ones I will use.

Even though it was difficult to let our dog go, calling Home Pet Euthanasia was the best decision we could have made. Dr. Julie came to our home in July to put our 15 year-old beagle who had cancer to sleep. We all had masks on and felt completely comfortable because of Dr. Julie’s calming presence. She explained everything she would be doing, and our sweet dog got to be in her own bed with her own blankets. She wasn’t scared because she was in her own surroundings. I can’t imagine how frightened she would have been if we had taken her to the vet. Everything was very peaceful, and we got to say our goodbyes. Afterward, our dog was transferred in her blankets to a basket that the doctor had prepared for her. The van where Sydney was placed in was even ceremoniously decorated. It felt like we had a small service for her. I can’t say enough how thankful I am that we used this group. I wouldn’t have done it any other way.

What the hell just happened. Losing a dog is not a good experience but it can be more comforting. Our experience was extremely sterile and uncompassionate. Julie came over tonight to help us let my border collie/corgi mix go to Heaven. Julie gets there and we screwed around doing paperwork right in front of the dog despite the fact that I offered to pay in advance. My dog would look at me, look at Julie, then look at my wife who was shattered inside yet signing cremation consent forms and other stuff. I offered to pay in advance, why couldn't these forms have been emailed to me before tonight? Meanwhile Joy is waiting patiently knowing what was coming next. Julie was incredibly slow to set up. Every second of waiting for her to get started was complete agony. Joy knew something was up, hopefully she thought it was just another chemo treatment. The reviews said that at the end when the puppy goes into the back of the van, there was a nice little set up in there almost like a ceremony. One of the reviewers said "The van where Sydney was placed in was even ceremoniously decorated". Not us. Our ceremony was me helping Julie load Joy's body into the very back of a black van where she barely fit because the back of the van was stacked with crates full of other dog corpses. No set up, no decorations, basically a doormat where she barely fit because all the other crates were stacked to to bottom. I couldn't even look at Julie shutting the back door of the van because I figured Joy would have to be crammed in. 32 minutes screwing around with paperwork and waiting forever for Julie to set up her stuff. It took 32 minutes while Joy is alert yet suffering before the first needle went in. My dog Joy was (a legitimate, registered SERVICE dog, not a comfort or emotional support dog. We rescued her after I got back from Iraq where I got severe brain damage and epilepsy as a result. Because she was a seizure alert dog, she literally saved my life on more than one occasion. She deserved better and so did I. I killed my dog tonight. I am completely shattered inside, way worse than Iraq and I never thought I'd say that about anything. I don't know if tonight was an anomaly, but shop around. The only advantage to using this place was they had the drugs to do it, otherwise I would've done it myself.

When it came time to say goodbye to my beloved Kasey cat after being together almost 15 years, I knew I couldn’t take him to the vet to put him to sleep peacefully. He went downhill so fast in the last few days of his life, and I couldn’t bear the thought of him leaving me after being scared from the car ride and scared from the vet as he always was. Kasey started to crawl away in the closet and in my bathtub to sleep, places he never went. I could tell he was uncomfortable and just wanted to go to sleep and not wake up, peacefully in a familiar place. Dr. Lis came over and very gently and sweetly helped me say goodbye to my best friend in the most peaceful way possible while he was at home and in my arms. Dr. Lis was so sweet and understanding, and her bedside manner was perfect. I had Kasey cremated, and Home Pet Euthanasia of Southern California handled his ashes wonderfully. I received him in a beautiful box with a name tag and had his paw print made. They provided me with such beautiful keepsakes to honor him. For those who are anticipating the loss of a pet, I can’t recommend the services of home pet euthanasia of Southern California enough. If you can avoid it, do you and your friend a favor and allow the final moments of his/her life to be spent at peace in a familiar place with the help of in-home euthanasia. RIP Kasey Cat.

After a long battle to cancer, we had to make the hardest decision any pet parent has to make. We loved our dear Roxy very much but we couldn’t bare to see her suffer any longer. She was such a warrior. We knew how much she hated going to the vet, so we didn’t want that to be the last place she took her last breath. We decided to do home uthination were she would be surrounded by her family who loved her and in the comfort of her own home. As hard as this was, Dr. Julie made the process better. She was very kind and compassionate about the situation. She was very gentle with our baby and once she passed, she patiently waited as we said our goodbyes. We wouldn’t have done this any other way. I highly recommend Dr. Julie & Home Pet Uthination of Southern California.

We had to make the decision Monday night (2/18/19) to end the suffering for our Boxer, Oggie. His illness hit hard and fast. He was only 7 years old. We called them late at night to schedule for the next morning, 2/19/19. We chose a time to allow our family to spend some time with him beforehand. They came on time and were so amazing during what was the second most difficult moment of my life, the first being when my mom passed. They took time to explain everything to us, patiently, as I was pretty hysterical. Our boy passed in his favorite spot on the couch. We never left his side. Today, 3/2/19, they delivered his ashes with just as much compassion as the day he left us. I’m leaving this note now because I could barely get any words out today but wanted to say THANK YOU. Thank you for making our loss a little easier. Thank you for caring.

Diesel was a gentle giant in every sense. Weighing in at around 100 pounds, he could be quite intimidating at first, but most people found him irresistible once they got to know him. It was not uncommon for non-dog people to find themselves cuddled up with him on the couch. We rescued Diesel when he was about 2 years old and he lived with us to a ripe old age of 12. When the time came to say goodbye, Diesel had become quite sick and arthritic. He had stopped eating and drinking and suffered from chronic skin infections. I decided that it would be best to say goodbye at home in a comfortable and familiar setting. After doing a fair bit of research, I called Home Pet Euthanasia and had a quality of life assessment conducted. This confirmed that Diesel's time had come, but also made the decision to let go a little easier knowing how much he was suffering and that his condition would continue to deteriorate. A few days later, Dr. Annie came to our home and after taking some time to get to know us and Diesel and explaining the entire process in plain English, she administered the medication and gave us some time to say goodbye for the last time. Dr. Annie was very professional with impeccable bedside manner and follow-up. Her staff was very supportive and knowledgeable. Now that I now this service exists, I share it with others whose pets may be nearing their time, and wouldn't do it any other way. While this was a very difficult decision for our family, Dr. Annie and her staff were wonderful throughout. Highly recommend.

My 14 year old dog was very sick and going downhill quickly. Dr. Meg came over quickly. She was incredibly compassionate and helped make the devastating experience of having to say goodbye to our beloved dog a little bit easier. We received a condolence card and hair clippings in the mail as well, which was so kind. Thank you.

Wonderful service. It is hard to convey my thanks for taking care of my baby girl in her final hours. Dr. Jenny was kind, considerate and compassionate. It is always a hard decision on when to make this call but it is even a harder one to go through. Home PEOSC was fast and easy to deal with. This is important because of the emotional heart break one goes through at this point in their loved ones life. I will be eternally grateful that you allowed my baby to go easy into the night, in her favorite spot on the couch, surrounded by loved ones.

There are few things more difficult than making that heart wrenching decision to say goodbye to your long time faithful companion. I didn't want my Sandy to have het final moments on earth to be at the vet. Although we have an excellent vet …

Thank you for having this service available to us. Thank you for your professionalism, for your compassion. Thank you for your patience and understanding of our sweet male shepherd who let you know he was here to protect his sibling but you were patient and won his trust. Our beautiful two year old Joey( Josephine) left this world in her own bed surrounded by us, her brother, her favorite toys. Thank you again because in our staggering grief with losing this sweet, full of life dog robbed of her health by an opportunistic infection, we found some semblance of peace.

Our little Shadow has had arthritis pain for the last 6 weeks. Over the past two weeks it got progressively worse until she could hardly walk or find a comfortable position to lie down. Dr. Meg was here tonight to help us relieve her of her pain. The experience was so peaceful and gentle. With the sedation injection, Shadow became relaxed and free from any more pain. The final process freed her from pain forever. Dr. Meg was compassionate and very mindful of our anxiety. She took her time and was as gentle as you could ever want. We highly recommend Home Euthanasia of Southern California.

Having to say goodbye to our beloved Macie was the hardest thing my children have had to face. Being able to bring her home one final time where she could spend her final moments comfortably instead of a cold pet hospital room, was the only thing that gave us peace. When it's time to say good bye to your best friend, call them. From the moment you call them until the very end, they are patient, compassionate and understand how difficult this is. Dr. Lilly even followed up a few days later to see how we were. We know they care.
