I stopped coming here because they got the worse customer service. Who ever is answering the phones is the worse..

Easy to call an make an appointment as a first time customer. The wait time for an appointment can easily be over a week which can be worrisome for those whose pets need immediate attention, but if it's for a check up the set up isn't bad.

Cleanly, organized, safe. But expensive for me

Used to be called the affordable animal clinic and they lived up to their name. They were affordable and the service was good but I think they got bought out, now they are the Torrance companion animal clinic and every time we go they say our dogs are dehydrated and they need all sorts of shots and medicine and then our bill is ridiculous. Recently instead of getting all the extra stuff the recommended I took my dog to another vet for a second opinion and they said they were as healthy as could be, I showed them the list of stuff that was recommended and they said I didn't need any of it.

You couldn't go inside to comfort pets.

Needed proof of sterilization of my dog from 7 years ago when it was Affordable Animal Care to be able to register my dog and license in another city after moving . They answered the phone on the second ring , were very friendly and efficient ,retrieved the record for me and emailed it to me in 5 minutes . Such a pleasant experience ,will be taking my dog there for all her future needs as well !!!

I thought that my dog was at his last end cuz i took him to the urgent care on 190th and they told me that he was sick and suffering that i should just end his suffering. I couldn't let go this was my baby boy i wanted a second opinion,but after a few days of watching him suffer i took him to the vet ready to euthenize him told everyone to say there good byes. The vet said there was hope and that with treatment he could live another 3 to 4 years....thank God i didn't listen to the vets on 190th( i can't imagine how many people did and lost there pet that could have been saved). I'm so happy that the staff at this vet's office care so much to give me alternative. I will bring my dogs here from now on

Works with you if you do not have doggies insurance

The girl that runs the front desk is very rude and unprofessional. I had called, before bringing my puppies in to be vaccinated, to get pricing, never once did they state that their Distemper vaccine they use is a three dose vaccine. On top of that when I went in no one explained the process once again. I knew to come back in two weeks because I have other pets, so when I came back for the final vaccine, or so I thought, I noticed the paperwork said vaccine due in august! So once again before taking my payment, nothing of the sorts was explained to me. So I brought this to the front desks attention, my main concern was to better inform the clients and not assume that we know. And the best she could tell me was next time I should use the humane society because they don’t give discounted vaccines and if I don’t come back I wasted my money, but she was very rude as she said this, I just looked at her and walked away because I can’t fix ignorance. If she was listening she would have heard me simply asking for them to better educate their clients every step of the way when they are dropping off or picking up. I can probably train them if need be! But the one girl who helped me afterwards, was very helpful!

I took my cat to this clinic due to lethargy, vomiting and itching. I requested a complete diagnostic evaluation including xrays to determine if there were obstructions in the throat or digestive system as this problem had been ongoing. No blood work was done, no lab testing was done and no xrays. However a prescription was given for an antibiotic, $90 food and a discharge summary stating that tests including the requested xray, were declined. Other "declined?" tests were not offered. This was a drop off appointment. The veterinarian did not present in person or make contact by phone. My call to the vet following review of the discharge summary was not returned.

All the staff is very friendly, service, take the time to listen, explain with details the process its the best place, they did a great job taking care of my cat Luna.

Have been bringing my pets here for years and they've always taken care of them. Great place for animals! Prices are great! Thanks to the vets and everyone else!

Not sure if I'd go with 3 or 4 stars...Their care is GREAT, as well as their pricing relative to the area or care I've paid for in the past. The staff is also nice. However their front office has got to be very disorganized. However long you think your visit will take- triple it. After all kinds of visits ranging from picking up a prescription in person taking 30 minutes (and they knew I was coming for it an hour before) to dropping my cat off for a procedure and picking her up later that day (also with an hours head start for them have her ready) I waited an hour in my car before I had to call in AGAIN to have to remind them I was waiting...had already spoken to the doctor and paid, they just needed to hand her back to me. Depending on what you're there for- just don't have any time sensitive plans the same day. Also they don't seem to want to even leave a message for the Vet if you have care/follow-up concerns such as "is this a side-effect of her treatment plan?" they'll try and force me to make a whole other appointment to get that answered...very big time investment here

Great care for my 2 cats ♡

We had to put our beloved Luna to rest today. Our experience at Torrance Companion was loving and kind. The Vetenarian was amazing and all the staff as well. We love you and will miss you very much Luna. ❤

02.28.2021 tried to get in as emergency and their first appointment is 03.08.2021. They advertise daily emergency availability everyday til 10:00 pm. You're all very lucky that have gotten service. But we will move on. . . . . . . . to better more reliable care facility.

Called this location to request pricing @1:32PM receptionist asked me to hold. When she finally talked to me i wanted to request pricing and details for a possible eye infection and neuter, when giving prices she mumbled the numbers, i said sorry could you repeat that, she proceeded to YELL the numbers, then stayed quiet with nothing else to say. Not the friendliest place i have called today, other places have been professional at answering calls.

Very professional during these times of covid.

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. They all get their care and shots here. Dr. Sakamaki is a dream vet to have.

They always take excellent care of my pets.

Robert (Vet Assistant) was very helpful and showed allot of personal care.

Vet took his time to discuss the problems, nothing was rushed. I worked in a vets office for 5 years and I'm very critical of todays service, I'm completely satisfied. Techs loving also.

Great prices and nice staff !!

It's really hard the get the feel of a place when you can't go inside with your pet. But they are following Covid guidelines so that's a plus.

Always hours of waiting just to be seen.

I brought my dog in for a horrible leg infection while the doctor was great the front desk is below average. I have left several calls trying to make a follow up appointment and can't get a call back. I paid $900 dollars. Once they get your money they are gone. It's like trying to get $20 bucks back from a stripper. Proceed with caution.
