Dr. Villafaña and his team are awesome. Knowledgeable, Processional & Caring. I recommend 100% . I took my in cat as last resource to TJ. He would had died if I didn’t, after 5 days in the hospital here in US, it drained out my saving, I was told he needed surgery or he wouldn’t make it the cost was outrageous. We took him to Tj for a Gallbladder surgery, I’m glad I did it would had cost me a fortune here in US. 10 days stay including surgery it was less than 1/8 of what it would’ve had cost back home. I was shock I spent less $1000.00 mind you he was there for 10 days. I only wish I knew sooner about Tj vet. I wouldn’t need to drained out my savings.

My dogs used to receive very decent veterinary. However, they are going down hill.

I must admit Dr. JOSE is an amazing man. Who always taken care of my dogs. However after my last experience his helpers are complete disrespectful and over charge us especially those from the United States MORE money than what the prices actually are ! Especially the big, obesed dark skin "medic". He has no morals. And did not want to attend my dog because my Dr wasn't there to give me his pricing... what in the world?! Although Dr. Jose is a great man he made me wait as if my dog situation wasn't critical. It was more important to close and enjoy his day.. My dog unfortunately did not make it and I saw it coming. As medical professional myself the odor that was coming from my dog, lack of response I knew he wasn't gonna make yet. I did gamble and took him to HOSPITAL SAJI where the vets are all amazing they already have automated prices in their computers. Therefore, the vets aren't stashing any money for their own greed. They lost my loyalty. And if my dog did not go so many days sick with a foreign object that was clearly not visible with xrays he would had made it. HOSPITAL SAJI is very knowledgeable they took about 30-40 mins explaining everything and even drawing outlines of what was going on with my dog. Careful as these veternarians are money greedy and the worst part they don't provide quality care and view animals as an object and a price bag. Save yourself a headache. I went to a hospital with better technology well knowledgeable personnel, and very clean hospital for a very super cheap price!! The most expensive was the surgery. medication, food, vaccines are stuff I usually get at grano de oro, and it's over priced depending who you go to. Therefore go somewhere that won't over charge you and are ethical! I was sent to do xrays elsewhere because my dog was too big. That was expensive too mean well it's like 20 dollars for xrays including the contrast medication like I said quality care and reasonable price at HOSPITAL SAJI. never again!!!!!!

The Vet is always very nice and they care about the animals. It's just too bad it's in T j across the boarder.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Business is clean and fully stocked. Took my 2 dogs to get teeth cleaned and my cat spayed. Prices are very reasonable, will keep bringing my pets for vaccines and check ups! While I was there decided to also buy flee meds

WARNING...... ......I didn't even want to put one star. My boyfriend took Lucky Friday to this Vet, Lucky tore his dew claw, so the vet gave him a spray bottle of spray cure and injections of respivet,5 injections one a day. 50 pesos to put the injection each time. This Sunday Lucky was dizzy and acting funny so we took him again and when it was our turn the doctor took Luckys temperature and prescribed Xantropina and kept Lucky for 1 and a half hours and charged us 450 pesos to keep him in a cage with bars underneath no towel nothing,the vet didn't tell us that from the xantropina Lucky would be blind and dizzy for the next 8 hours. We were horrified we didn't know what was going on. Thank God we called a 24 hour vetranaria and he asked what was prescribed and he asked if they gave him xantropina and told us the side effects of that drug for dogs are very scary if you don't know what to expect. No communication.

Very helpful, very nice, down to earth people

Pretty well stocked pet store/vet. They have an excellent assortment and stock of many small to large (horses) pet accessories and products. Definitely recommended.
