We could not recommend this place more highly. The team here is very helpful and compassionate towards you and your pet. Also, if you happen to be visiting and not too confident in your Spanish, have no worries, as it seems that the entire crew here is bilingual, and is happy to chat with you in both English and Spanish.

My dog was hit by a car and her right front leg was broke at the elbow and in the states they wanted 5k to fix her or 1k to amputate it. But thank God for my boss' brother who took me to these saints of the Veterinary field. I couldn't recommend them more for your pets. The father and son team were as nice as can be and the place is clean and well equipt to take care of your pets needs. They took care of my pet for less then they wanted to amputate back in the states and she still has all her legs with only the slightest of a limp, but that is only expected the way it was broke. It doesn't bother her and you hardly notice it. My heart felt thanks to you both and your staff there for helping me and fixing my Rottweiler, Xena. I know if she were there she'd give you the biggest slobbery kisses she can give to thank you both.

Good place to bring your dog. Very good prices I brought my dog to have surgery after he ate a toy and everything was ok. He’s recovering right now doing good. The only bad thing was that they gave me a price first and when I picked my dog up I had to pay extra money for hospitalization and they gave my dog back very stinky. But everything else was good

Upon picking my dog up from this vet, my dog was extremely scared of any hand motions and would flinch as if he were about to get hit. My dog didn’t have this issue before which only proves to me that they manhandled my dog during his surgery and possibly even hit him. The helpers also aren’t kind or nurturing to the animals at all. It’s an extreme shame and very sad, I’m never coming to this business again.

Did not like this place, took my dog 3 days consecutive, was given antibiotics incase it was a bacteria infection. The veterinarian told me if it was a viral infection my puppy wouldn’t survive. He had a 50-50 chance, they never did the proper testing they were just giving out medications left and right and my pup was not responding well. Went to another veterinarian in Rosarito called Leon and within 30 minutes they had to test testing positive for Parvo. My pup is well now, I will never go back to Alexander. They do not give you proper documentation of what they are doing to you pets.

I take my girls to this clinic because they offer veterinary consultations and pet grooming. The staff is very friendly and professional. After they take care of my little girls they come out beautiful and smelling very good.

I come all the way from san diego to take my 2 cats here, it is definitely worth it to me. They are great with what they do and have an Anwser to everything. I definitely think this vet is better then any vet iv been to in SD. I recommend them 100%. My cats love the groomer and she treats them so well!

Dr Alexander was recommended to us by the Mexivet transport. We had used other vets in Tj before but were willing to try someone new. He was absolutely fantastic. He is very professional and curious and took excellent care of my fur babies. Gracias!

They are very responsible and knowledgeable, walk ins are welcome and you always find a doctor. I definitely recommend this Veterinarian.

We have taken several of our pets to Dr. Alexander and are always taken back by his obvious passion for helping animals. His prices are more than fair, and he doesn't look to trick people into paying for more than what is necessary. One of our dogs accidentally ate a seed that was toxic for her, but by the time we got her here she was already very far gone. He sat on the floor of his office in tears with my mom and sister, and that to me showed his true colors and love for what he does. These doctors, their advice, and treatments are FAR more advanced than American Veterinary Medicine, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest, and truly intelligent group of people. They don't take you through loops holes like all the vets here in the states. Honest, hard working, and diligent people. Thank you for all the help you've provided over the years, our family loves you.

I have taken my dogs here for several years and cannot say anything but good things about all the doctors here. On two occasions they have saved my Yorkies. They treat you kind and are very professional. I don't mind the cross (of the border), since it has allowed for me to save thousands of dollars.

I have been visiting Dr. Alexander for the last 6 years for dental care for my two dogs, a Maltese and Maltese Poodle. They have been treated with great care, reasonable rates (especially compared to Vet care in San Diego) and very professional service. They offer grooming, boarding and all ranges of medical care.

My dog had a large painful lump on her side. I took her to this vet and he told me she had a tumor. All he did was touch my dog and say " This is a tumor the only thing I can do is operate her but there's a chance of her not making it since it's in a sensitive area." The consultation was $300 pesos and it was under 5 min with just his expertise input, no tests! He said to make an appointment, that the surgery would be $500 dollars, showed us out the room and where to pay. I decide to take my pet to a different vet where they took tests and instead of a tumor diagnosed her with an abscess. Thank God I did not leave my pet here!
