I was so surprised as I was paying with my credit card that the machine is asking for Tip in order to complete the transaction. To say the least I was being on the spot and made the mistake of pressing the the 15% . I was checked when I found it amounts to $36 on the receipt. They already charged $240 for cleaning my dog's teeth. It took less than 20 minutes. As if they are not making enough money ????! This absolutely Wrong!!

Caring and friendly local vet. I have taken both of my dogs there. They are reasonably priced and appointment wait times are not long. They have current flu vaccine for dogs in stock. Not a fancy office but the Doctors are top notch and honest. Associates are professional. One of my dogs had to be put down and the entire office went above and beyond for me and my daughter to help us get through that tough day. Thank you!

Great service and I don't feel like they are trying to rip me off like most vet clinics... The only issue for some is that they don't accept care credit, but they also don't overcharge you so... I don't mind paying out of pocket. I am pretty strict on where I spend my money and this place has been nothing but kind and helpful, all the time.

Has always given us fair and friendly care of our maltese. They have friendly staff, very fair rates, and Vet is knowledgeable. They also sell / prescribe Nexguard for our pups flea protection. Parking along street has never been a problem. Just north of 101 freeway.

Dr Deam and his team (his daughter Stephanie the tech specifically) have been so very helpful and attentive with our brand new shelter puppy who came down with parvo. ???? I truly feel this puppy wouldn’t have lived if it weren’t for Dr Deam’s and Stephanie’s excellent care. He went as far as texting me and having me bring the puppy in when the office was closed. I could see their love for our pup when we would bring him in. Outstanding vet, we will never go elsewhere.

Love brining our dog here. Staff is always helpful and accommodating. They have squeezed me in before last minute when our dog has had problems. Love the small, family atmosphere about going here. There are closer vets we can go to, but the 30 min drive for us is well worth it.

They're warm, honest, patient and don't seem to recommend unnecessary proxeedures, testing. They did a great job on a multi faceted surgery and care for my 130 lb dog. They are also willing to suggest alternatives to where to find a to purchase long term meds. Dr. Dean, and his entire staff are efficient and lovely to entrust your fur baby to.

I recently started going to this vet after moving back to California. My mom has been a long time patient with her two pups and she’s always raved about them. I had a horrible experience with them on a Saturday. My pup and moms pup got into it and my moms pup ended up with a wound so I took him to the vet. I had asked if the doctor can look at him and tell me what my options were but instead of giving me feed back and explaining to me what was wrong the doctor already distributed pain relief shots and shaved his area with the wound. About 15 mins later the tech came out and telling me what medicine and what was wrong and needed to be done. She explained it all to me and then handed me a bill that was roughly $457. I was shocked and explained to the tech that I didn’t want anything to be done until I knew what was going on and explained to her that all I wanted was him to be looked at... not touched, not given any medication and etc. she rudely said oh well he was in a lot of pain and etc which I knew he wasn’t at all because he was acting completely normal when I took him in. I understand that he had a wound and needed attention but I was very upset that no one came out to inform me or tell me what was going on until after they gave him a bunch of pain killers and shaved his wound area. Unfortunately i will not be going back to this vet because I felt attacked and trapped in a corner when the tech finally came out to inform me of what was going on. My pup is always up to date on his shots and half the long list of medications that was given to my moms dog was very unnecessary. Only reason they got a star is because I couldn’t leave my review without giving one. I do not recommend this vet for anything other than updating your shots.

Not knocking anyone down or discounting their knowledge but... Peppers whole underside was beet red, sore and itchy. 2 veterinary clinics guessed what it was and gave us topicals. One said probably a chicken allergy so switch to beef. It was out of control this weekend and we couldn't stand it, let alone allow this pup to suffer one minute more. His vet was booked so I found another with an opening. Animal Clinic of the Oaks. The vet didn't guess. He did a skin scrape test and we now know he has contact dermatitus. No mites, no fungal, no mange. Peppers on steroids and antibiotics for one week. Day 2 and its cleared up 75%. We go back in 10 days to discuss a preventative. We found our new vet.

Trustworthy vet with exceptional customer service. The veterinary assistants are knowledgeable and go the extra step to make sure you feel comfortable with the treatment your pet receives. We had our dog tested and cleared for Hawaii and the girls who helped us spent hours doing our paperwork and updating it the second time when the legislation changed.

When you take your dog to the vet good communication between the staff and customer is crucial. I just hate when I feel like they didn't understand my concerns or the reason for my visit. I don't like to feel rushed and I shouldn't have to feel scared leaving my pet / best friend with them. Well Dr. Deams staff made me laugh, they made me feel at home. The staff told me in detail what would happen during my pets procedure and what to expect when Dr Deams was finished. They answered all my questions and made feel comfortable. I am extremely happy with this Animal Clinic and I highly recommend Dr Deam. I would pay any amount for my dog to be happy. Jojo says ruff ruff thanks.

I love Dr. Deam! He's been the only vet treating my fur baby for all if his 9 years. Vet care is getting more and more expensive (just like human healthcare), so it's great to have a vet you can trust to do the right thing by your pet without additional costs for unneeded services.

The clinic is well run, very professional, and friendly. I brought my cat in for a follow-up. The cat was so happy here. The vet instantly had a rapport with the animal. This will be my go to vet.

My pup somehow managed to rip off a part of her nail late Wednesday night, the night before Thanksgiving. First things Friday morning I started making calls to try and find an appointment, and either no one was open, or they had no appointments and the Emergency room wanted to charge $156 just for the visit fee! That did not include the exam, a diagnosis,or treatment. I called my husband give him an update & he suggested a little Vet he passes on his way to work. I called them, and sure enough Animal Clinic of the Oaks was open and had an appointment and got us in right away! They also had a promotional half off on vet fee for new patients! They were so good to my little girl, they look care of removing the rest of the nail, cleaning it, and wrapping it up, for her. They wrote a prescription for antibiotics. We were in & out of there in less than an hour. I am do thankful to the wonderful team here who helped mend my pup.
