This is still an unprecedented time in history to avail care. Shining light at VCA Community Companion Animal Hospital that rides the storm is Stephanie. Always knowledgeable, patient, sweet and followup expertise. Stephanie, just is, beyond efficient and Cares????, which surely soothes the client & must help soothe everyone else at VCA Community Companion Animal Hospital to keep things going. Our family has experienced all events lately with passings & orphaned young ones...so condensed as of late. Stephanie has a smiling voice to assist no matter "What the Weather????." Thankful for Stephanie & her Sunshine????

Have been a long time customer since they were at the previous location. So disappointed and inconvenienced on my experience this a.m. Had made a apptmt last week for feline boosters today. Checked in at the parking lot & waited for a pet pickup. Someone called me back telling me they couldn’t give the boosters because it was going on 2 yrs since the last phy exam. Either I could make another apptmt 10 days from today for an exam or leave my pet in her carrier & a doctor could exam sometime in the afternoon...no telling how long it would take. I said I should have been told of the exam requirement when I made the appt last week, not when I’m waiting in the parking lot the day of. Definitely a breakdown of customer service at the front desk which needs attention. I’ve always been pleased with all the doctor’s over the years. Didn’t leave my cat to be in her carrier most of the day & am rethinking if I’m even going to call back for another apptmt. Bad experience!

I brought my baby hamster for a little infection to her mouth, and as part of the treatment, they over injected liquids that went to the lungs and died. I’m extremely disappointed with them and wander if they know what they are doing!!! Do not bring your pet here, you might not get it back.

They squeezed me in so my moms dog could get refills because it had been a year since vet last saw him and I was out of refills. Dr. Nasser, as usual, was very kind. We always leave feeling satisfied and well taken care of. Thank you Dr. Nasser. ????♥️

Great place. They are professional, knowledgeable, and super busy.

Service is very slow. Waited 30min in parking lot to pick up pet food that I had pre ordered 2 hrs earlier.

They really take care of the animals and all their needs. The Drs. and staff are excellent.

Community companion animal hospital is not my regular place to take my pets, but my dog's doctor was unobtainable. I went up the street from my regular veterinarian to Doctor Cootaco's veterinarian clinic,everyone there seemed to be interested in something else other than helping me! I had an emergency, my Coco had a foxtail in her eye. It was red and swollen she couldn't even open her eye. No one could even touch it she was in so much pain. Since her regular vet couldn't see her I thought oh this is a wonderful place to go. Yeah I stood there and I stood there and stood thereand no one even said welcome or I'll be right with you. The staff just talked amongst themselves along with a pet owner. Now my cocoa is in the carand I'm trying to find out to see if this doctor will see her on an emergency basis yet I was still just standing there. So I left, I remembered there was another animal hospital up a ways so I went there. I was greeted by one of the staff with a smile and ask how she could help me I was so grateful. I told her the problemand she had me bring cocoa right in she looked at her and said okay let me get a room ready please fill out these forms while I do so. The doctor was fantastic! He explained everything, they cleaned out her eye they put some dye in your eyes are they could see exactly what was going on and then they removed it after giving her a light sedative. I received some eye medication to put in her eye and she was sent home with me. A great big thank you to community companion animal hospital ❤️ and their staff they deserve more than five stars

We took our dog in for two shots and a routine checkup and they took two hours with no updates in between to tell us how she was doing!!! Five other animals came and left while we were waiting. Ridiculously bad service drive the extra distance and go to VCA Santa Anita.

Affordable hospital for my all pets

My long time Vet has adapted well to the physical and social distancing requirements of the covid virus. Made an appointment and everything was very well organized to the numbered parking spaces and quick turnaround time including a vet consultation. ????????????????

No other place I would take my dogs for care and boarding. I never have to worry while I’m away . They always have Bella and Lucy safe and sound! Thank You for all u do!

My little guy Ozzy wasn't feeling well vomiting and diarrhea I called made an appointment took him in Vet saw him gave him a shot and some meds he was better within 24 hrs now this is my regular vet waiting room always packed but never a long wait girls behind counter are always friendly

Dr. Pavlik is the kindess compassion caring vet I have even gone to. He's fantastic!

I have given this place multiple chances. Each time disappointed, ive been left on hold for over 20 min just for a drop off, had to call back. This has happened on more than 1 occasion, pre covid they forgot i was in the room. Today I called at opening was told dr. Would call back, its now 3pm still no call. I rescured a kitten took it to the 8/30 they tested for parasites told me it was negative. She now has worms at no point did they expain with negative results she could still Have worms i wasnt advised to deworm to be safe since i have 4 other cats. Today when I called they tried to say to bring poop for another test (more money) i was not happy so she said would have dr call. So still waiting. Super disappointed, even with covid there should still be a certain level of customer service provided.

The doctors & staff are great but they are the most expensive animal hospital in this whole area. I've been going around to a lot of other animal hospitals & they are all less expensive than Community Companion . Every single one is less expensive.

I've been coming to Community Companion Animal Hospital or CCAH before they became part of the VCA and I still get the same good quality of service now as it was before VCA. They've always took really good care of my cat Coco whenever she had to visit. There was only once or twice that I can think of that she came back seemingly different then when she went in but I assume it was the medications she could have been on during her procedures. Sadly she has since past... They were always polite, answered any of my questions that I had and their whole staff is very understanding. As of recently though, their quality of customer service has been affected by the transition to VCA and also by the Covid-19 pandemic. Even with all that going on, they still really tried their best to work diligently and accommodate everyone's special needs to get their pet's in as quick as possible to be seen. I am still going to be visiting CCAH in the future because I do have another cat that will soon require a yearly check up and have no reservations that they will treat her just a well.

Rosemead has a Vet on valley blvd, west of temple city blvd. NEVER GO THERE!

I an not the type to be a regular of most businesses but this place has been my dog’s veterinarian care provider for 4 years and I could not be happier with their service and the way they treat my dog. Thank you!

Really appreciate open 7 days a week, especially in emergencies.

Very good service and staff are great. Family have been going here 35 years or so. Check out the kennel (doggie hotel) and compare. Best you will find

My fur baby has been drooling alot, so Dr Bodie saw and examined him today. Meds, new food, should fix him up. Hopefully.

Hands down the kindest, most amazing veterinary staff I've ever come into contact with. The level of care they provide, especially for geriatric animals, is outsanding.

Was waiting for hours when I was told to come pick my cat up. Then his stitches ripped do to a small hole left by the vets.

This Dr.'s at this animal hospital are fantastic. Their staff is compassionate and very caring. I drive an hour to bring my pets to be treated here. I've been to other animal hospitals and there's no comparison to Community Companion Vet Hospital. I feel blessed to have found this place..
