Don’t get your dog colored here! ???? we had some fun things planned and I wanted my puppers to have a bit of fun too, so I wanted to do a DARK BLUE (knowing that he was a little gray toned I wanted to do something that’d still pop) on his tail and in the ears. Unfortunately, I sent my nice friend to drop him off and pick him up, if it was me I wouldn’t have paid them the $65 for this mess. Looks like I could’ve done better than this, and If I known ut was gonna be like this I would’ve done it myself. DO NOT GET COLOR HERE

We have taken our pooches to Butterfield Grooming for 20 years or more. Chris and her employees are friendly, professional and knowledgeable, going above and beyond bathing and grooming. Our Sheba always comes home happy and seems to strut her stuff after coming home from her "beauty shop" appointment. We wouldn't take our dog anywhere else and highly recommend Butterfield Grooming!

I’ve been using Butterfield Dog Grooming for over 20 years. Chris really knows her stuff and has even noticed health issues with my dogs so that I was able to get them to the vet without anything becoming too serious. I feel very confident my dogs are safe and in good hands when I drop them off. I highly recommend!

I has been taking my two small dogs to Butterfield grooming for about six years and highly recommend. They do such a great job grooming and treat them with gentle care. One of my dogs is very sensitive and doesn’t like to be touched but they have built a trust between the two of them and he actually lets her groom him.

We have a little Pom that’s had a Tracheotomy, and amazingly still going strong after 7 years. Chris, and the staff at Butterfield Grooming are the ONLY ones we trust with our little guy. They take such good care if him, & he looks amazing and happy every time we pick him up from grooming! He loves going there! It gives us peace of mind knowing our little guy is in good loving hands.❤️

This place is very well-priced and they do great work. My dog is happy to go there and looks and smells great when she comes out. If you aren't looking for the fancy salons and just want people who do a wonderful job, know their business, charge reasonable rates, and are great with your animal, then don't think twice. Take your pet here. Also conveniently located just outside Old Town's restaurant district - makes for a good place to pass the time while you wait.

Did a great job on both of my dogs. My big girl who has separation anxiety when she's away from me didn't come home completely sad and depressed like she has from other groomers

Good place to have your pet groomed

I have been coming here for over 10 years. My dogs go twice a month. Kris and Katie are absolutely the most accommodating groomers ever. Not all groomers can do a “Bichon” cut. It is very specific- but they are the queens of grooming. Plus - they are true animal lovers. Not all places are nice to the dogs. But - my dogs look forward to visiting- so I KNOW that they are well treated - even when I am not there

My dogs paws had open wounds and was bleeding. I didn’t notice until I got home and saw his blood all over my white comforter. Never coming back here!

The owner was so Rude!!! Dropped my dog off at 1pm, checked on her at 4:30, then she called and said “it took me 15 minutes to calm her down since you showed d up”... 5:20 she was ready!!!! They asked me for cash and I said “I didn’t know” then the owner said “ SOMEBODY NEEDS TO PAY MORE ATTENTION” I was shocked plus my dog looks horrible. $85 dollar lesson! DO NOT TAKE YOUR FURRY FRIENDS HERE!!

Abusive to my precious dog who no longer has her voice/bark since last visit to Butterfield Grooming over 2 years ago. Owner told me she has video cameras but refused to show me what she did to my dog. Will Never go there again!!

We've tried another groomer when we moved to Temecula. Alot of god and bad haircuts for my Yorkie. My friend told me about Chris, she owns Butterfield groomer in Temecula. The best cuts and service. I wouldn't go anywhere else if your in the Temecula area. Very knowledgeable, also. Great person to leave your pet with. That's very important to me, personally.

I took my shitzu dog here today to get groomed and they did a wonderful job! I will definitely be returning

Perfect! My Poodles have been to several groomers and none of them come close to the grooming they have done us. QUICK and Friendly and Reasonably priced. At the last minute they shaved the face/paws on our poodle that can no longer stand up and he was so happy :)

Don't go here! This place gave my family the wrong dog !!! Don't let this happen to you!

I've been taking my cockapoo there a few years. There have been a couple issues over the years which were explained away or that my girl "is difficult". However, the last time is totally unacceptable & I feel so guilty for continuing to take her there. Last visit was told my girl was difficult to cut her nails, so, not trimmed nails. I was told only the owner grooms my girl & she once told me she had to put my 20 lb girl on the floor on her back & sat over her to cut her nails.Why I took her back after that, I will never forgive myself. However, it has been 6 weeks now & my girl is just now getting her admittedly loud bark back, but not completely. She is 11 years old but very spunky! She had no voice when we picked her up last grooming & lethargic for 2 weeks. We fed her special soft foods as it hurt her to swallow& we worried she may die. She has become well except 5 months later & her bark has never fully returned. She is also, suddenly, terrified of my cutting her nails which I always did in between groomings. What did they do to her???? I wish we only knew.... Never again!! Butterfield also always called every 6 wks to schedule new appt., for over 10 yrs! They have not called even 1 time since which IMO says much. I would lime to know if others have had similar experiences.

I remember volunteering there 8 years ago what I witnessed was shocking they were very abusive, they sat on the dogs, one of them bit a dog on the ear and most of the dogs wanted me to save them cause they sensed I was a much calming person. Never in my life I would never go to Butterfield Grooming again!!!!!

The owner of the facility is abusive to our animals. If the dog does not cooperate with her she will name call your dog and hit them over the head or butt. Why would you want to run or own a facility if you have this behavior towards dogs or any animal. Individuals who have worked there prior have witnessed these altercations. For those clients that have had a "good" experience with this facility, you may really not know what happens. Does this facility have AC in the back? Do your homework people, maybe media should be called. You may want to stick around to see your dog groomed. It's a matter of time a law suit will be in order. Unfortunately I could not give a 0 star in order to post.

Will never go back and do not recommend. Took our golden retriever for grooming and she has been hurting for days. We can't even pet her because she has open wounds all along her spine. She was obviously brushed too hard and caused sores all along her back. Our poor dog.

Christine has taken care of our babies for about 13 years. She is very good and cleans teeth too. We like her & her staff very much.
