I drive 130 miles round trip to bring my dog to see Dr. Drelich. He is the most compassionate vet I've ever dealt with. His caring, nurturing nature with my dog (and prior cats) are why I drive the distance I do to see him. I love his "do right by the pet" attitude. He is amazing.. My dog, Gizmo gives Dr. Drelich 4 paws up!

We took our beloved family member of 17.5 years to Butterfield Animal Hospital so she could be put to rest and selected a cremation package. When all was said and done, we did not receive what we had paid for and there is no fix since she cannot be brought back. After waiting on them for a few days to figure out what had happened, they gave a partial refund for what they deemed to be their mistake.

Called for the first time and was asked to wait. I was on wait for approximately 10 minutes and six seconds when the phone just hung up. If that’s not bad service and then I don’t know what it is.

We've been taking our dog here for years, and while it can be hard to get in sometimes, I've always been happy with how my baby has been treated. When we had a life or death emergency, we were able to get him in for an appointment. Once I was able to get my dog in due to a cancellation on a Monday when he was sick, and he got better over the weekend and I was relieved that I wasn't charged for the appointment. I wanted someone who had a real emergency to take my appointment.

I was playing fetch with my dog and noticed that something Traumatic happened to her but couldn’t figure out what. She was perfectly fine one moment and the next moment was lethargic and in pain. We took her in to Butterfield and per the vets recommendation had her put under anesthesia to examine her mouth thoroughly. Dr. Fox extracted a 3 inch broken piece of stick from her tonsils and upper throat area that has become wedged in there. Without this intervention I’m sure it would have become septic and ended her precious life prematurely. We will be forever grateful for the surgery.

They are very good, although they have put some policies in place that I am not used to and do not like very much. During Covid, we had some poor communication issues and I was very disappointed in their response to my dog's condition and I put him down without ever seeing a vet there. All in all, they are a place that I trust and know and I would recommend them. All of the animal hospitals and vets were overwhelmed by the covid situation and it is not fair to any of them for the way they had to respond to it. It is very hard to put down a 12 year-old golden who had been our beloved family member but I cannot fault them.

Be ready to sit 5 hours and be charged emergency fee. Their policy if you leave you lose your spot in line. I live 5 minutes away. I did like the Dr though

I am a (human) healthcare provider AND I too have been working during this pandemic and thru staff shortages and increased Healthcare demand. Using this as an excuse to be unprofessional, rude and ineffective is purely an excuse. We became clients back in May with a new puppy. Since then we have had 5 scheduled visits with subpar outcomes: as a new pet owner we asked multiple times, at each visit , what we needed to protect our dog, if we needed to personally purchase and administer meds, each time we were told no we will prescribe everything you need. 3 months later very sick dog,, turns out no monthly deworming medications had been prescribed and were supposed to. Getting in for an emergency appt/walk in is almost an impossibility. When our dog was seriously ill, multiple attempts at walk in appt failed, a scheduled appt of 4 weeks after was given! Needless to say he was seen and treated by another available urgent care. At least for 2 of the 5 scheduled appt, we waited over 30 mins past the appt time, even though we had arrived 10 mins prior to appt time. The final straw was when I managed to get a walk in appt for another urgent care need, they told me to wait in the car which I did patiently. 90 mins later I call to ask how much longer, I'm placed on hold and then disconnected. I walk in. I am told not much longer and that I am next: at this point the parking lot in front is empty but for 1 other car and zero ppl in the waiting room so I wait. 45 mins later I ask again. I am rudely told there was one more person ahead of me and could be anywhere from 30 MORE minute to 2 MORE hours!!!! This is NOT how healthcare businesses run. Again we in the human healthcare industry have the same if not worse challenges, you should not take on more than you can process. You should provide ppl coherent intelligent responses. Also noteworthy that since we started care here, not one single time did they answer the phone with anything other than ".. can you hold please". Personally I have never held past 15 mins, as it's 4 mins drive. So I don't know if anyone actually does come back to the phone. Sitting in the waiting room and watching the front desk answer calls, I can see why. They pick up the phone and place every call on hold with no limit. Dr Goulet is thorough and comprehensive. Two other doctors we visited there, ok but not engaged. As a new resident of Temecula I am shocked at their high positive reviews. I have been nothing but fully respectful and pleasant with all staff at all times and I have given this office numerous chances. They really are not good. I moved on to Dr Tanner Ross (Pet wellness center) and their associated urgent care. My goodness it's night and day!!! I suggest you give them a try, if you have been treated the same as me.

The worst customer service I have ever received! Absolutely horrible. They truly don’t care about their customers, don’t value their time and are disrespectful.

We have used Butterfield hospital many times in the past for a little dog Nikki. She has several chronic problems and extensive testing and work has been done in the past. She has had fluids drained, x-rays, lab work ups end regular care over the years from Dr Melissa Goulet and her associates. However, today Nikki was bleeding from one of her ears. She had just been groomed and her ears plucked 2days before. I was concerned that she was in quite a bit of discomfort and that the blood would turn into an infection. We called our veterinarian, but Butterfield veterinary clinic would not see us and the tech we spoke with told us to go to an emergency clinic! We are extremely disappointed! We hoped that an established relationship with a veterinary clinic would result in better service!

I love this place. Although I haven't seen Dr fox sense covid it's Much better now you can walk inside like a human. My pug would burn up in the car and I got treated bad one time when it was set up outside because your dealing with one person . when you walk in they have multiple people at the desk so there a lot nicer you can't get away with being rude in Front of a crowd of co- workers

This is a very busy animal hospital and for good reason. The staff is friendly and courteous not to mention Dr. Hobson. She takes good care of my cat Tux. I find her professional, kind and caring.
