Only took my dog here because my normal groomer was closed. Wanted a simple nail trim and Dremel for my dog. Barely took them 2 min. Looked like they barely trimmed and didn’t use dremel. I pointed it out and they still didn’t want to fix it. Waste of money and time. Charges like a professional, but doesn’t do the same quality work. Steer clear of this place.

We have been going to them for about a year and we used to love them, but I had to leave my dogs there all day. Then their groomers did not listen to anything I wanted and of they did they did a very poor representation. They are all very nice, but they would charge me for a professional but I did not think it looked very professional. I know several of my neighbors quit going there but some still do. Hope this helps.

Always do a great job on our dog

My groomer wasn't grooming anymore so I decided to try this place. Before leaving, one of the girls was trying to aggressively shove my dog into a tiny cage and when she saw me watching they then put her in an adequately sized cage. When I got her home she was a completely different dog. Skittish, lethargic, could not curl her tail anymore, and her upper back area was swollen and very painful to the touch. On top of that her groom was a hack job and the worst she's ever had. After a $150 vet bill I am so unbelievably disappointed. I don't know what they did to my dog there but they certainly should not be handling animals.

Very nice and gentle ladies.

Usually we love taking our 3 dogs here. However, on the last visit one of our dogs suffered a neck injury while there and we are not sure how it happened. Luckily he recovered and is back to his old self.

Took my snorkie there and asked them not to touch her hair at the top of her head and asked for a bow and they cut all her hair off , I paid $51 dollars for my baby to get buzzed cut.

A year ago I had the mobile grooming unit come to my house and asked for a bath and trim for my long haired German Shepherd. He came back in a few hours later completely bald to the skin with a bushy tail and I was shockedm He smelled clean and looked completely white with no color or saddle. This year I decided to try again and I ended up with an on-site quote that was $50 less than the high end $110 I was quoted on the phone. All I wanted was a demat in the back end , wash and trim. They came about half an hour late and said they don't have enough time to bathe him. I wouldn't pay the any without a wash. Again I am not getting what I need and have to go elsewhere after a week trying to get the appt, texts, calls and a year of them texting me. Not a satisfied customer.

Took my husky here for her first time and was astonished at how well she looked after, and the level of shedding from her after was drastically reduced, Thank You Teya for taking care of Snow.

My dog is very sensitive and is older in age. They took great care of her and she was happy when she left. I would definitely do the drive to take her there.

Absolutely a great experience, called got appointment next very efficient very nice, dropped off my Coton de Tulear said how I would like his hair, explained he is a fussy dog to groom, went to pick him up, honestly the Best grooming he has ever had and he was a very happy little dog.

The students always do well with our dog and their prices are a bit better than most other dog grooming shops.

They did a wonderful job with my baby Zeus. He's shy but they were able to groom him and make him smell and feel really soft and clean. They're very reasonably priced and being able to drop him off and come back later made it easy to fit into my work schedule. Feels like they really care about the animals they groom.

We were vacationing in California and stopped at American Grooming Academy with our standard poodle. They groomers were so nice. Gus looked and smelled beautiful:)

Hands down, the BEST groomers in town. I have been taking my boys (a German Shepherd mix and a Peekapoo) here for several years. My German Shepherd was old (approx. 17 when I started coming here) and wasn't able to stand for long periods of time (partially because he's stubborn and will just sit). Petco and other places didn't have the patience and wouldn't work with him. American Grooming had no problem. The staff there is EXTREMELY friendly and they do a superb job. This place is also a grooming academy so I usually "cheap-out" and have the students work on them. They do a great job and I'm always happy with their work. The only caveat I would add is that the student work is just that; while it turns out just fine (and my boys are happy), if you're needing perfection (i.e. for a dog show) you may want to opt for the professionals. Lastly, they are very accommodating scheduling wise...both pick-up and drop-off. Thank you VERY much American Grooming. You're all ACES!

When I got my dog back she had a huge bald spot right by her ear and hat another one on top of her eye lid plus they cut her hair with the wrong Razer I WILL NOT allow this place near my dog after that

They are reasonably priced, caring, and patient with my little one who is quite nervous! We've gone here for about a year now after trying several other places in town and we love them.
