Dealt with them once, and once was enough. My dog got injured at the lodging facility by my other dog. No big deal. Nobody's fault. The vet wanted $1000 for blood test, skin test, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories. What! After telling them about my dog's pre-existing problem they still wanted to do everything. Her injuries were no big deal but the vet wanted to try to nickel and dime me. No thank you. The next day, the scratches were gone, the "puncture wound" was nonexistent, and swollenness disappeared. So 2 prescriptions for what exactly? Maybe go here if you don't care about money and opinions that makes no sense.

They were very helpful. The doctor was great and the staff were very friendly. Our dog is a handful and they handled her perfectly.

I was pleased with the information on the procedure and progress of my pet. I felt my puppy was well cared for.

Not great at all. I Recommend any other very if possible. The staff was rude upon check in. There are no signs telling you to wait outside just one that says wear a mask when you come in. They get very mad if you follow the posted signs and go in. I called to see what the policy was out of I could have someone meet me outside or if they had masks because I lost mine. She answered, said she would explain how it worked, put me on hold for over 5 minutes, only to tell me someone meets me at the door and we aren't allowed in. She was rude when getting my information to check my pet in. Then the wait was extremely long to get them picked up. The younger gentlemen who came to get my pet was very nice though. it was several hours to get a prescription refill because they " needed to do more blood work" for a 15 yr old pet, clearly with bad arthritis who just needed a refill. When I came back 5 minutes after they said my pet would be ready, she was rude checking me in again, then told me the next available person wouldn't bring out my pet and their meds. I waited over an hour. Very rude and unprofessional for the most part. 2 stars only for that guy who was great with the pets.

They are down-to-earth and very helpful

5 stars today because Spencer is a super star! He made our appointment so easy! Especially with my pup having a mini break down with a side of attitude problem ???? sorry Spencer! We really appreciate you and how well you handles both our pups today!!

New in town. My dog had and ear infection and the were able to see her the morning I called. She can home much happier and with her antibiotics her ears are back to normal.

They have always treated me great. I spent a lot of time there recently, dealing with end of life care for my puppy, and saw how many people are impatient, ungrateful, and rude, and they never once showed anything but understanding and compassion to anyone. They took care of my baby, and took the time to explain, and comfort me, for the decisions I needed to make. Their love and compassion for their patients was impossible to miss. Thank you.

Not only did the vet take good care of my dog's health, the techs were amazing enough to give her a much needed brushing of her coat. The people who work here really care about animals and it shows in the quality of care that the pets receive!

Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital takes great care of my boy, Angus. Angus is my Service Dog, trained for mobility and seizure response. I rely on him daily and if he’s not healthy, my own health is affected. Recently, Angus got very sick. I took him into Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital and they took care of him right away. I am so thankful to all the vets and staff that have taken such good care of my boy and got him back to work quickly. We love their Saturday clinic, so efficient, and the fact that they do take drop offs in the morning on any day is amazing. I highly recommend this vet, and so glad that we chose them to care for our babies (we have other dogs as well). Thanks Tehachapi Vet, Angus and I thank you!

We were clients for 10 years, which they don’t seem to care about. Tried to make an appointment to spay our dog for the last 2 months. Every time we call they say they booked and to call at the beginning of the next month. We did that and we were told again they are booked for the following month...how do you get an appointment then? So much for customer loyalty. Very disappointed and would not recommend.

My personal experience w/ tehachapi vet clinic is clearly politic, in that, meaning my relationship can only be one sided being it being a vetenarin clinic. To speak. Otherwise can only postulated from a strictly listen, obserce and evaluate sraff, office procedures, doctors and relationship with animals and their owners, while looking for the practitioner's true callin

Disappointed that this establishment labels itself a "hospital" when they are closed on holidays and there is no veterinarian on call.

My dogs seem to love boarding there.

My family is vaccinated but I am still waiting in my car with my dog that is freaking out just so he can get 2 shots. Well over an hour wait just for 2 shots. Waiting in the hot sun.

Dr Ditmyer has gone over and above to help us find the right prescriptions and meds for our husky with Lupus. She has called many compounding pharmacies to find one with the cheapest cost. She is always there to help.

Waited 2 hours 1st day. Gave up. Waited 2 hours next day but got kitten health check and shots, finally! Personnel are a very nice.

This place is so awesome, I love that they have a open schedule for vaccines. I travel a lot and dont have a set schedule so when I am home is when they go and my dogs dont even feel a thing. The are kind and understanding, they make my dogs feel very comfortable before they give them the shot. They always take time to answer all my questions. Great place, and reasonable too!

Everyone there has been excellent and thoughtful! Dr. Ditmyer was amazing in letting me know about my cat's terminal illness. Today he crossed the rainbow bridge and they will see to his cremation! Very thankful to all!

I have been a client of Tehachapi vet Hospital since it was just Dr. Anderson back in 1990. And I trust the Dr's 100%. I would recommend them to Anyone.
