They seem to care more of the money than your beloved pet. They also try to guilt trip you in giving your pet ALOT of sedatives for their "Comfort".

Wonderful, caring and compassionate staff. I’ve been a client for over 10 years and they are very reliable and kind. I just euthanized my dog and I was overwhelmed with their kindness and patience. It couldn’t have been a better experience considering the circumstances. Dr Singh is very trustworthy and runs a highly ethical veterinary practice. I recommend Sunnyvale Vet to all of my clients.

I love taking my dog to this location. The staff and vets treat me and my dog with so much kindness and respect and make it a priority to make us both feel at ease. The vets are also very knowledgable and provide us with great service.

We recently got a kitten that potentially has heart problems and the clinic have been incredibly unprofessional about his care. We scheduled him for an ultrasound and they warned us he would be need to be sedated, which was fine. However, they didn’t sedate him, and he got so worked up that by time they finally sedated him that Cardiologist no longer had time to see him. As a result, my kitten was sedated for no reason. They blamed it on him being unexpectedly wiggly, but honestly he’s a kitten and they should have anticipated that. We were frustrated, but understood and re-scheduled for weeks later. Next time, we woke up at 6am to give him a tranquilizer as recommended and dropped him off only to learn that cardiologist would be coming 5 hours late. They did not call or give us any warning. As a result, we had to leave our kitten there all day and he wasn’t able to eat for 12 hours. They showed no regard for the continued stress or risks this was having on our kitten. Their behavior, especially the cardiologist, is completely unprofessional. Our older cat has been visiting the clinic for 4 years, but we’ll be moving them both elsewhere.

I have been loyal to and given Sunnyvale Vet and sister site Oakridge vet large amounts of my money over many years. I paid for hamster x Rays, lots expensive tests for 4 cats eco tests for cats with heart disease, etc. I showed my reliability as a client. I hope for them to be my vet that I could count on and hope they want to be my vet for a long time. I hope if I continue here and if there's a need at that time they can help in every way.

This clinic is excellent. I've been coming here for 5+ years and have trusted them with the well-being of three fur-kids - both canine and feline alike. I love how they have a separate cat clinic! The care and service is high quality and I especially love that they always provide lots of options; I sense a great deal of concern and compassion for both myself as a customer and for my pets - this comes from everyone at each visit. I'm so grateful for you Sunnyvale Vet! Edit: Taking off a star due to recent communication issues with this clinic unfortunately.

I took my cat in for an exam because he doesn’t eat well. The vet had to sedate him because she was afraid of him. After that, I had no money left for blood and urine tests or vaccines or flea medicine. Will never go there again. I got nothing for my money.

The staffs and doctors are nice and knowledgeable; however, I am not completely satisfied with the whole experience. First of all, they are fully booked, I made a reservation about a month ago to get a slot matched up with my schedule. When I showed up at the clinic at the time reserved, they keep me waiting. I waited around 10+ minutes for the technician to show up then another wait for the doctor to show up, and another wait for technician to show up and actually took my cat in for vaccine. The actual time doctor seeing my cat and talking to me is less than 10 minutes. Next, regarding the bill, their office visit fee/ checkup fee ($90) and vaccine fee are much higher than other places but the overall quality, experience definitely not worth the price. I was looking for a vet closer to me with good reputation so I found this place. However, if you simply need your cat for an annual checkup I do not recommend here

My rabbit passed away in their care during a spay procedure. There was no way in telling how my baby would react to the anesthesia but unfortunately it took her life. I chose this location because of their reviews and figured okay this must be a great place. I waited 3 months to get an appointment with a vet that "specialized" in rabbits. I dropped her off at 8:30am and was told she'd be ready for pick up after 3pm. I got a call around 10:30AM letting me know that she had stopped breathing and if I wanted them to continue to do CPR on her. I was upset they paused to call me to get permission even after the fact of me signing a contract that allowed for CPR. They called me back at 11:05am informing me she had passed away and that there was nothing they could do. I felt so upset, depressed, and stressed out. It's been 3 weeks since her passing. One of the assistants informed me she had a spunky attitude and was grunting and giving attitude before she was put under. If they would've called me to inform me she was acting this was, I would've told them to not proceed with the spay because when she acts that was she's extremely upset and stressed out. I wish they would've called me so that I could've told them not to do it :( I will never ever bring any animal here again. The saddest and worst part of it all was holding her deceased body and hearing the assistant on the line speaking to another patient about their guinea pig had trouble breathing after a procedure they've done and I just kept thinking there goes another dead animal under their care. They clearly don't have a good rep on small pets. If you want your pet to live, please consider another location.

Called in for an issue, quoted me 861$ plus 150$ fee for the problem. I called a different hospital and said my dog will be fine. Weeks gone by and I’m so glad I didn’t listen. Saved me 900$. What a scam.

We recently had to euthanize our cat who we had brought to this vet clinic. The doctors and staff were very comforting and gave us as much time as we needed to prepare for the procedure. They also sent a thoughtful card following the procedure which we all appreciated.

Even with the covid restrictions, the staff and Dr Hermansen were very friendly and accommodating esp to our case with our pet cat. Everything was explained well and things for after care had clear directions.

I'm concerned. Several people recommended this clinic but I have yet to see why. Each appointment we have had has been late by more than 30 minutes in getting the appointment started. This last one was due to several emergencies, so they say, which they could have let us know when we first checked in. I find a business that is disrespectful of my time is not one I want to continue doing business with. I'm not sure if this is because our entire relationship has been through Covid but in a time where appointments are being limited communications should be clearer and I'm not impressed so far. To their credit though they seem have a good bedside manner with our pup.

Overall we like this Vet they treat our dog very well. The only issues we have with them is that they tend to be on the expensive side for services and it can be hard to get your pet in sometimes as they are very busy. The level of care is very good though and that’s what’s most important.

I took my puppy for her vaccines and 5 days later she had a fever and diarrhea and I had to take to them. They told me she was dehydrated and that she need to spend the day at the clinic. Just to make story short and after two days in the clinic and daily, X-Rays, a huge bill! the Vets still didn't know what was wrong with my puppy. The injected, sedated her causing her major pain on her limbs that she couldn't walk for days! my poor puppy was suffering. When I asked them what happened to her why she was couldn't walk ? they didn't have an answer. They suggested more testing and x-rays. She saw two Vets, and they contradict each other as far treatment goes. It looks like they don't know what are they're doing! I would definitively stay away from this Clinic, it's a money pit and not very helpful!!
