Dr Steve is an excellent Vetinarian and excellent person. He is smart knowledgeable communicative caring helpful understanding and honest. I trust him completely with the care and lives of my cats. The staff at Veterinary Medical Center is always caring, professional and helpful. I am grateful to know that Dr Steve and his staff are there and highly recommend them

We love Dr. Steve and Dr. Tentser! The staff here genuinely love and care about the animals. We take our cats here, one whom has mild cerebellar hypoplasia.

First rate veterinary care for my dogs for many years. Dr. Steve (as they all call him) loves animals and is also the senior veterinarian. They also have convenient parking in the back, which is a big help.

Dr. Steve Aboulafia and all of his clinic staff were so compassionate toward my recently adopted rescue dog. It’s a bit of a drive to get here from where I live, but I will be sticking with this vet practice since it is so excellent. Also they are very transparent about prices and made the experience seamless.

I’ve been going to VMC for my pets for 20 years… Dr Steve is a wonderful guy and a fabulous vet.

What a horrible experience, wish I never took my pet here. The staff was absolutely unprofessional and the so called assistant that came out and talked to me didn't know what they were saying. Horrible horrible stay away . Total waste of money.

Very friendly n professional service

We brought our new puppy in for her first visit & all went well. The staff are friendly & professional & Dr. Steve answered all my many questions & had me feeling at ease.

absolutely love this place! it was my second time here and like always they greeted me with such friends faces and they answered all my questions so politely, although i probably annoyed them. they are very professional & welcoming. Dr. Steve is absolutely amazing, although Dr.Tentser is as well. They truly are a family vet!

Dr. Steve and his staff have become like family these past few years. Aging pets (and global pandemics) brought unforeseen issues with our fury kids! Everyone at VMC is always kind, professional, helpful (beyond the status quo) and takes the time to build long lasting relationships. We have appreciated the honesty when an issue has popped up that goes beyond VMC’s wheelhouse; They have gone above and beyond to direct us to appropriate specialists and stay in the loop throughout the journey. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

The best veterinarian I've ever used.

My family who have pets all go to see Dr Steve. He has been highly recommended. I took my two new adopted kittens Rhett and Scarlet in for good health exam and get updated vaccinations. All went good! Dr Steve is easy to talk with and very through.

The Best - have been going here for 20 years- 3 dogs and 2 cats I love this place

I have been taking our dog Jack to Vet Med Center since we adopted him in 2008. He has a ton of environmental allergies but the doctors here have always been nothing but wonderful and patient with him and us. Dr Tentser and Dr Steve are the best in town and the whole staff is so sweet anytime their “little Jack” comes in. Can’t recommend them enough!

Dr. Steve Aboulafia and his associates are the most caring and competent veterinarians, techs, and support staff. Dr. Steve literally saved my dog from internal bleeding when her spleen burst. She went on to live many more years thanks to this brilliant, compassionate doctor. I couldn’t recommend Veterinary Medical Center more highly.

This place is the most manipulative and over priced vet I’ve ever been to in my life. They rack up unnecessary procedures and wait until they are already done to let you know what you “estimate” is. Will not be returning. Almost 500 Dollars for an ear infection.

Great place. They treat you and your pet with great care and respect. Dr. Steve is the best vet I've come across all my life, in all the countries I've lived in. Quick response, always calls me on the same day I have an issue and gives me detailed solutions!!

I wish I could use the vet services here because Dr. Steve seemed super nice. However, I specifically went there for an estimate of a spay and gastropexy. I tried to get a rough estimate over the phone but the receptionist said she could not give me any estimate, and I would need to bring my Mastiff in for an exam which would cost $60. I asked her if Dr.Steve did a gastropexy procedure, and she said she did not know, and that I would have to ask him myself during the exam. Well, I got the answer which is NO!!! So I'm writing this review to let everyone know that if you have a large or giant breed dog and you were hoping to get the gastropexy done during the spay procedure, do not come here for that because Dr. Steve does not provide this service. He referred me to a specialist, but when I called them, they quoted me $6K-$8K and this does not include the $165 consultation fee. So I will take my Mastiff to a regular vet that quoted me for $1000-$1500. I was hoping Dr. Steve would do both procedures because he came highly recommended by someone I trusted. Oh well, it was not meant to be. Everyone here at VMC was very nice though. Due to Covid, the wait time was really long, so expect to spend about 1.5 hours total there. PS: Yes, I still had to pay the $60 exam fee. I did not get the estimate for the spay that I went there for.

Veterinarian was very thorough in letting us know the results of the exam, informing us on what they plan to give our dog as treatment and instructions on how to care for him. Such a nice clinic! Everyone is so kind and caring, they handled our animal like he was their own. They answered all my questions. The whole experience was absolutely amazing!

Dr Steve is the best!!

A friend's dog got hurt at my house and needed to see a vet. Mine was out of town but this animal hospital was open and I have some friends that bring their dogs here. They made us feel comfortable and stopped me from panicking with their knowledge and kindness. The price was good too

Have been coming here for almost 20 years. There are no better people to trust your most precious family member(s) with. Dr. Steve & the entire staff here have been the best thing that happened to us & our babies.

I’ve been taking my dogs and cats here for 7 yrs and every time i go the price is more than what i payed before. They don’t show any discounts or take care of there ppl that have been with them for years. My last visit they tried to charge me $350 dollars for simple ear infection meds i left very disappointed because it’s all money with them. I ended up getting the $350 dollar meds for $80 dollars. This place is a rip off.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Steve for my animals for almost 20 years! I trust him 100% with all of their medical needs! Heck, wish he could treat me!

Directed to me by another vet to help me right away with a sick cat. The staff was so kind and considerate and friendly. The doctors were wonderful and were so understanding, helping me make the hardest decision. Caveat Emptor - They wanted $130 for a communal cremation. I called around and found the actual place they work with - charges $1 per pound of animal. Talk about price gouging grieving pet owners. Ouch.

Dr. Steve loves animals and brings that to the clinic. You won't find anyone better.
