Staff here are friendly and really helpful.

Taking kitten to be neutered. Recommend to Dr Smith for cats. Will see if work looks as good as the lobby. Need a family vet and they seem to be good place to look.

How to start, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since covid it is nearly impossible to get an appointment in the bay. I took me 2 month to see the specialist who diagnosed Baxter with glaucoma. It had progressed and he was in discomfort and the eye needed to be removed. I had thought it was a cataract and that it would be manageable. I was wrong and somewhat shocked to find out the eye needed to come out ASAP. I was quoted 3600 at the specialist. I called 15 other vets in the bay. Not one would even give me a quote with out an “exam” even with a diagnosis by a specialist. the two vets he had seen prior quoted me 3000$ and 2500$, on a chance I called out of state to see the response. Vca baring blvd are exceptional!!! From the first constant with the front desk, to Marcia the tech and the doctor who provided the surgery. I couldn’t have been more appreciative! The were so professional and caring!!! When I called they’re first concern was the dog not $$$ they scheduled me the following week. Gave me a quote that was far less then in the bay. Communicated with me on all fronts, got all the information from other vets. And truly took care of my pet. Baxter is a special one(all dog owners can’t deny he is one in a billion) they removed his eye, and showed so much compassion. I never felt like it was money or his life. Yes it cost me, but for what was done it was more then justifiable to take a 3 hour drive. The final bill came to 1400$ with all tests and treatment. I can’t say enough about the staff! And i feel lucky I made that call! And was able to connect with them to take care of my little buddy. Thank you so much to all the staff and the doctor at VCA baring blvd! This is how we should be treated by veterinarians, some where along the line compassion was over taken by $$$ but not at Vca. They provided exceptional care!

I love my dogs vet. The staff is friendly, great location. I purchased my dogs insurance at that location. it's affordable and just peace of mind. Pre covid I was able to take her into urgent care until about 7pm. It was great. Since Covid I have been having trouble getting an appointment for urgent care or even just to get in for sick visit. They are scheduled out a few weeks so emergency type things I had to visit the emergency dog hospital. I paid a few hundred dollars for something I pay into to avoid doing that. I took her 3x's the third time the animal ER was closed for the next 2days. I could see my dog was in pain I called again to see if I could be seen. One of the girls got us In the next day. My dog was having an allergic reaction he said it was at level2. Her vet took his time with her and even got her to trust him. she is back to her happy self. I still give this place 5 stars. We are all going thru it with covid. It has affected us all. I'm glad they are getting thru it.

Saw us same day so we could keep grooming appointment. Excellent.

I changed from another veterinary office I went to for 16 years to this one because of the excellent care and service they provide. The difference here is the staff. They are all friendly and care about the animals they treat, and when I call I get consistent answers. The previous veterinarian I went to I could call three times and get three different answers. I also have a dog who had Addison's disease and I always had problems getting his meds refilled each month at Costco with my old vet getting the refill requests, and would have to call back and forth numerous times. Haven't had one issue with this office with his meds being refilled, and that alone has relieved a lot of stress for me and my pooch. The doctors are awesome here and even though they are in the other side of town (30 minute drive for me), the level of service they provide is worth the long trip.

The DRs and nurses in this facility are amazing. I'm truly thankful that I have them in my corner when it comes to my animals. They show compassion and love for these animals. I know my dogs are in good hands when I bring them here. I dont trust to many people with my animals, but I trust them. Thank you for all that you do!

Very good experience!! Frankie the pup was given very good treatment. Received the results quickly and cost was very reasonable. Staff was enjoyable to work with. Frankie the pup gives them two paws up!!

I was a brand new client and my little man was ready to go. They treated me and Scrappy with such care and kindness that I felt like family. I wish I had been going there the entire time. I have no doubt that Scrappy would have had better results. Absolutely 5 star care. Thank you.

My Oakley passed away last Friday and they helped with her passing never once felt rushed to hurry up and say good bye, they said when you are ready come and get the vet, I hurt my heart is broken without my Oakley and these people that work here honestly helped my family through this process???? I have got to say that these are the best vets and their team I have ever came across. They CARE! Even though my baby went to heaven to run with my brother they took care of her. I was a wreck and they where so compassionate towards me. Thank you to the team who took care of my baby for the past 3 years. I will forever remember how you took care of my girl.

Love this place! My dog doesn't mind going either. Staff is always super friendly very pleasant and helpful. Doesn't matter which vet you see they're all very knowledgeable and loving of all animals! They're long hours are also a plus!!!

Have improven in last 4 yrs , they've always been great to my senior boxer for yrs ....but sad to have to say we had to take my son's boxer in to help.cross the rainbow bridge ,and he had a horrible sad experience that day she was sedated which was suffocating her ,had to rich the ladt injection ,couldn't hold her or say goodbye she was struggling too much . But still take my dog there staff changed and it's got some good ones treating our furbaby ❣

Love this place! They been taking care of my Coby (13 year old pomeranian/poodle mix) never have a complaint the Veterinarians are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Friendly people dr comes from the heart

We have recently moved to the Sparks area. What a great experience it was to have our first visit to VCA Baring Blvd. Despite the insanity of having to wear the useless and laughable face diaper, which I understand is out of the business's control, it was a very positive experience. All personnel from reception, to vet techs, to the knowledgeable and professional vet were professional, friendly, and helpful. Being able to go into the examination room with my pet made ALL the difference from the state we moved away from.

I had to make one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make, and that was to put my dog Smokey down. He was 13 years old and needed help to get his 120 lbs up off the floor, and even after getting help I could tell that walking was causing him pain and to keep him alive and suffering would only be selfish on my part. My girlfriend had came here several years prior to put her dog down and always praised what a great job they did. I have to say that my experience there was just as good. Although it was not easy to let my Smokey go, the staff here was beyond amazing. They made sure that Smokey was comfortable and as he transitioned from this world into whatever may come next he did so gently and peacefully. It hurt so bad to walk out of there without him by my side like he had been for the past 13 years, but his passing was gentle. The staff allowed me all the time we needed to say goodbye, both before and after they administered the medications. It was not easy to say goodbye, but the respect and compassion they showed my bestfriend during his final moments was amazing. I hope to not have to make the decision to let another pet go for a long long time, but if I do, there is no place else I would go because of the level of care both Smokey and I received. Thank you to all the staff at VCA Bearing Blvd Animal Hospital for making that tough time as easy as it could be, and for making my Smokey's transition from life to being pain free, and with no more suffering, a smooth and gentle process.

They are the best!!!! I love the way they care for your animals!!! They have helped me put 2 of my furbabies to rest in the past. Now all of my animals see them ????. I couldn't have asked for such amazing kind, sweet, and compassionate people to see my animals!!! ❤

This is a wonderful vet in a convenient location. They took care of my dog's passing. Leaving out the front with an empty leash was devestating and I felt so alone. The vet made the process as pain-free as possible, 100% recommend.

Poorest quality of veterinary service I've ever seen. Spent thousands of dollars diagnosing a problem on my dog and the veterinarian said well without spending thousands more dollars I don't know what the problem is. Prescribed me an antibiotic that is only makhundreds of dollars it is only made things worse if anything. They won't correct the problem they won't take a look without me spending thousands more dollars. Save your money go somewhere else
