Vet Villa Animal Hospital South Pasadena, California

I'm pleased, I think. This is my first visit. I have an old, dying dog; your staff engaged me gently and thoughtfully about euthanasia. The staff was very busy, but they took the time to explain everything thoroughly.

I had been taking my dog to Banfield for shots and check ups. But my boy was limping and I didn’t trust his care w them. A friend had recommended Vet Villa, so I contacted them. They were able to see me the same day and gave me a recommended procedure to follow. The staff was very kind and comforting and took good care of my boy. I plan on transferring both dog’s records to Vet Villa and continue their care w them.

Knowledgeable, kind and caring staff! They were on time for the appt and treated our dog with lots of love.

Amazing veterinary hospital!!! I had an emergency during Christmas as if the pandemic itself wasn't enough. When my regular vet and every other vet was closed or non responsive, Vet Villa made a way to get us seen the same day to help me and my pup. Tiffany and Dr Li went OVER and ABOVE for us and we can't thank you enough!!

Took my doggie friend to their emergency clinic this past Friday evening. She was in pain, unable to walk. Doctor Mar diagnosed she had probably been stung by an insect. He and the staff stayed in touch with me the entire time. Two shots and an hour later she was walking again! I was so relieved and thankful for the staff's kind help! I made an appt for next week. Pet Villa is beautiful and very clean. Pet Villa is our new vet because of their kind and affordable service! You should do the same!

We were visiting the area from out of state and our dog chipped his tooth playing at our AirBnB. Vet Villa fit us in within a couple of hours and gave us a consult. Staff were very friendly and kind to our baby, which meant the world to us. The pricing was fair as well. Highly recommend Vet Villa for those in the area!

I am very thankful to Vet Villa because they helped save my girl. They saw us when no one else would. Everyone I spoke with the office staff, vet techs and doctor were kind and compassionate. They didnt charge me for any unnecessary tests and they easily could have. I'm very thankful for them! I definitely will be taking my other pets to them.

I am beyond grateful for the time, care and compassion that Dr Arianna showed towards my cat. I’m so thankful vet villa was able to squeeze me in as an urgent appointment and took me right away. Wow,this business is awesome. I took my baby PALIN,and they took care of him ,like it was their pet.The Dr. explained every detail of my baby,from A to Z.I definitely recommend this pet hospital with a 100% plus.I am not judging but Banfield has nothing on this one here.I am very pleased with the outcome of PALIN. We had a really lovely first experience at Vet Villa. The technicians who greeted us where so friendly and kind to my dogs and excited to meet them. Our Dr was kind and patient, she chatted to me for as long as I needed to feel comfortable about the process and explained everything. She had very sensible advice and was extremely professional, I was updated regularly and listened to. Everyone I interacted with showed kindness and patience. Thanks Vet Villa.

Vet Villa has exceptionally friendly and caring staff! Bringing my dog in as a new patient, especially during Covid when we can't go in with him, I'm always nervous he's going to be scared or have to sit in a cage waiting for hours like our last vet. This was not the case here. Their staff was communicative, caring and overall made our pup, Binx, have a stress free visit!

Since I started bringing my dog here I have been so impressed with the quality of care and communication. Every other vet I have been to has never been clear about all of the different charges being added on for a visit, but Vet Villa always takes the time to break down what exactly I'm paying for. Everyone there is always so friendly and I always feel confident putting the care of my dog into their hands. They bring the quality of care along with the feeling that your dog is not just another number.

Vet Villa is the best! They have consistently taken the best possible care of my fur baby, from simple visits like vaccinations to extremely difficult situations dealing with leptospirosis. They genuinely care about the well-being of the animals they treat. Dr. Swimmer and the entire staff is phenomenal. I can't say enough great things!

It was easy to get an appointment, I wasn't on hold for an extended length of time, and EVERYONE at the animal hospital was friendly and knowledgeable . The staff put us and my dog at ease -with clear info for us and gentle, loving care for my dog.

I have had to switch vets several times in the last few years. My frustration when my pets' regular doctor refuses to make room for them even in an emergency has been high. Additionally, other vets in the area often suggest expensive tests first and are difficult about providing prescriptions. Vet Villa, even during these troubling times, has been the opposite. They have thus far, always gone out of their way to respond with concern and to go out of their way to help keep the costs down while providing expert and loving care. I am very appreciative to have this animal-loving business in the community. They employ veterinarians who genuinely care for the animals and not about making a large profit. I never feel rushed and always feel that the doctors want to hear from me about my dogs and cat. I also am very thankful for their efforts to see a sick pet, even when they are very busy.

I like the overall service. The technicians and receptionists are nice. The doctors I met were friendly and patient. The quality is definitely a 5-star. The only issue is that the cost is higher than average. But based on the environment and service, I think it's worth it if you live in the neighborhood.

Came here for a drive-thru vaccine clinic, and they stopped having them before it was time for our dog’s second dose. (They also never told us it was required; found out on our own.) Now, they are requiring us to pay additional visit fees, in order to get the second dose, even though we’ve already paid for both.

Took my Pug puppy to get checked and vaccinated. Great service, great staff, great vet!

Love this place. Only constructive feedback is it has been come increasingly difficult to make appointments.

Vet Villa's vets and vet techs are nothing short of professional and kind. They truly do look out for our dog's well-being and are detail oriented when they review his health. HOWEVER I do look at their estimates and question what is needed and what is not, however that is my personal choice and the vet will go through everything with me. I am the type of person who does ask a ton of questions, and they are happy to go into it with detail. I currently have 2 vets for our 9 year old border collie. 1 old-school vet who won't over-sell us on what our dog doesn't need, and 1 new-school vet who will itemize a $400 bill every time we visit for our dog. This is the new-school vet, but that isn't a bad thing. They did reach out to us to get his lepto and flu vaccine which our other vet did not. This is a good example of "you get what you pay for". I am happy with our experience with the entire team at Vet Villa.

The kindest and most thorough vet I’ve ever taken a pet. Most places right now have a 2 week wait time but we were able to get a next day appointment for our dog. Dr. Hand was very knowledgeable and helpful to us. We will definitely only take our dog here for future visits.

The vet group at Vet Villa is extremely lacking professional responsibilities and basic cares. Our puppy was taking her revolution does at Vet Villa. The nurse didn’t inform us how to apply, where to apply. Their package has no details. Not to mention the side effects. We have to google it ourselves. After applying, our dog has a serious vomiting symptom. Which we are never informed by their nurse nor possible treatments. I don’t feel like Vet Villa is a vet that provides professional assistance and advices. They just sell you medicines without the instruction. Very very disappointed.

The place looks nice but they overcharge.

I called yesterday and scheduled a 10:30am appointment and called ahead and asked if they accept my dog which they said yes . Today comes I was waiting an hour as I checked in and a lady named Ming told me that she would call me back because she had to talk to the vet to see if they could take my dog . So I waiting an hour and nobody calls me back . And tried calling back they said I missed my appointment time and rescheduled me a half hour later . Which I waited and nobody reached out to my as I sat for almost 2 hours in the parking lot . So obviously they didn’t want to take me / or my dog . First and last time to this hospital. Very unprofessional . I wish they just stated they didn’t want to take me instead of waisting our time and letting my dog suffer

I love this place. No wait, staff is excellent, dr is as smart as she is caring, I had a wonderful experience, and I shall continue to bring my 2 German Shepard’s here. This is now my vet for life. For the dogs I have now, and any future animals I shall ever have.
