This group was amazing as they helped me say goodbye to my Murray. Everyone treated us with the most respect and compassion during this very difficult time. Thank you

Rude! Lady that answered the phone has an attitude and has a way of deterring you from doing business with them.

Reasonably priced. Very aware of your pets needs and don't try to pressure you into getting anything else done except what you came in for. Dr. Bennett is great

I was new to the area and trying to vaccinate an abandoned rescue cat and this vet "couldn't take on care" for something so simple. Really not impressed. No ethics here.

I would give way more than 5 stars if I could to this practice. It has everything you look for when seeking care for your furry family members. The kindness and caring of the CSR and CVT staff was amazing, efficient, and informative. Dr. Tara Hodson fixed my girl up for me on a last minute basis after she was attacked by a loose dog. And not only the people inside are amazing, the practice itself has very good curb appeal with beautiful colors painted, it is super clean, and I found the waiting area very comfortable. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone that lives local or is traveling in the Sonora direction.

Lied in the response to my review, my phone call didn’t get hung up on, I was told they refused to see my cat because they haven’t seen him before. Period. No attempt at all to help him. Went to Sierra vet care who pulled an 1 1/2in long foxtail out of his eye, I’m so thankful they would see me and my pet on such short notice.

They wanted a $200 deposit just to see my dog due to her breed. Used to go to this vet all the time but will not be going to them anymore

The vet assistant listened carefully to everything I needed to tell her about my kitty. She asked a few questions and explained what they would do. Very helpful.

Take all my dogs there. Not the cheapest, but the staff from Rebecca up front to every vet tech.and doctors Bennet and Bogolea-Hodgson are top notch. Modern facilities and diagnostic tools.

RUN. Don't waste you time here. It took three days to communicate all this with front desk staff. In my opinion, they must care about money not people our animals They require all your pets to go to their office. Strange. I have had pets my whole life. I have never had this experience even if, " it is common in the area." I bet most people lie to this office. I could have easily said my new kitten is my only pet. How would the office know? I didn't because I intended to eventually switch my pets to this vet. I am glad they showed their true stipes before I paid them a dime. I have had horrible vet experiences in the past. I have to get to know you before trusting you completely. I would rather drive hours away to support a vet who understands a person's rights and already knows my pets.

The staff are great, they care about your pets like family, and they work quickly and efficiently. The pricing is actually pretty good, especially for vets in this area. And they are always willing to answer any questions you may have in a friendly and professional manner.

When they charge you and take xrays on a senior dog whos way to old for surgery, just to tell you that your dogs too old for surgery but still want your money for something you already knew and then refuse to prescribe your dog non-controlled pain meds when you dispute the price. Your fellow vet tech says.. your shady! I've also never heard of another hospital who forces all your pets to be seen here or no service. My hospital encourages our patients to have outside sources that we can all communicate with. If you truly care about an animals health, and not just the money, then you know the more professionals giving their input on our furry friends, the better. Sounds like this place was once good.. but whoever owns it now doesn't care for your pets, just the money

My two cats have been seen here for many years, and I can't imagine taking them anywhere else. The entire staff is professional, helpful, patient, and incredibly caring. My cats are both "difficult," also known as dangerous to vet staff, and yet they are treated with kindness and understanding. At Sonora Vet Group my furry children receive the highest level of medical care available from people who truly care about their health and well-being.

This is an amazing hospital with the most caring staff. Their personalities are so funny and warm spirited, and they have the most knowledgeable doctors that will go above and beyond to make sure each and every patient gets the care that they need and deserve. They are not a 24 hour care clinic but when you have a very critical patient and a doctor who is willing to drive down in the middle of the night just to check on their patients and make sure a drop cam is on and in place so they can see their patients from their own homes, that is very impressive and shows true dedication. They also take their own emergencies for their established clients. Every patient admitted has different medical needs. Some extremely critical, some standard follow ups, others just routine procedures. These doctors are highly qualified to handle high case loads consisting of a variety of medical cases with a great team of technicians who make sure that every patient is stable and gets the care they need. What's wonderful about this office is that the staff treat each other like family and they treat their clients like family, leaving me feeling confident that when my pets are there, I know for a fact they are getting great quality care. I never have to schedule an appointment to get my animals in when they are sick. If my pet is showing symptoms of being ill I can call and they usually tell me to bring them in for a drop off right away. None of the waiting for an appointment. I can call last minute and the day of and get my pet in if something just doesn't seem right. If it's not urgent and they are too booked for the same day drop off they will usually get me in as early as the following day but will always asks me "what day is convenient for you". My pets love going there. Jack has been going there for 13 years and gets excited as soon as we hit the turn off. Patients and clients come first. And they have always been willing to work with us if there was a conflict with scheduling etc. I do know that they require a deposit for first time new clients coming in for a large medical cases and require records from previous vets so they know medical history, vaccines, medications used, etc. on the new patient that they are going to be seeing. And we have been told they don't take payments (which we totally understand why) but have always been offered other ways to help us if we became in a financial pinch. They have mentioned care credit and we even discussed pet insurance. The front office staff was very helpful. They always offer estimates too, sometimes more than one, which is nice so you know what your getting into cost wise and have options. Then you as a client can make the final decision of what you would like to do. Having a pet is an investment and it's not cheap. I always try to remember that if I'm going to own one, I better be ready to spend money to care for it. It's not the vets fault that our pets get themselves into situations that they shouldn't have. My hound acts like a two year old and threw up a sock the other day that she pulled from a dresser drawer ‍. Not the vets fault but they wouldn't hesitate to make sure my naughty dog got the help she needed if that turned into an obstruction. The one thing I do appreciate are the call backs with critical cases. They always call to check in to see how we are doing and make sure everything's going ok at home before our next re check appointment. It's those little things that really show they care about their patients.

Used to love this place, but something has changed in the Admin. I am unimpressed. Love the Tech Eric... office staff techs need better customer service.
