Got us in at night with a concern about our dog. Didn't oversell treatments and were upfront about costs and potential outcomes. Nice office to wait in if needed.

It’s such a sense of relief finding this practice. Everyone from the front desk staff to the technicians to the doctor were exactly what one would hope to find when taking their family member to the vet. I really appreciate their demeanor and professionalism. Dr. Jordan really did a great job. I have a very large and rambunctiousness dog and she was great with him. You can tell she’s just naturally gifted at interacting with animals. All around, just truly a great practice!

Vet was very nice and went over all the information thoroughly. Was helpful with questions as well over the phone.

My cat's eye was turning red in the iris and I needed to take him to the vet ASAP. The closest vet to me is McGrath and I've been taking my cats there for the past 2 years and never once had an issue. I was reluctant at first going back only because the reviews weren't so good... I called them on 9/9/21 and was put on the waitlist for the next day and someone canceled that day (9/10/21). I saw Dr. Habib who put dye in my cat's eye to check for any cuts or ulcers, said everything was fine and prescribed eye drops for my cat after (supposedly) making sure it was all safe for him to take and the whole visit was quick. My cat's eye was doing better then when the treatment was over, the next day it got worse. I then kept putting the eye drops she had prescribed and stopped again, at this point my cat wouldn't even open his eye. I went back in on 9/28/21 and saw Dr. Jordan who looked at my cat, did the dye again and saw a massive ulcer... she prescribed different eye drops. Today is 10/3/21 and my cat's eye is looking worse. It looks swollen, opaque, not smooth, red, and he flinches if we barely touch his eyelid. I'm going in today for the 3rd time to treat the same exact issue with yet a different doctor. Knowing that I've spent $400 so far and that my cat's eye is getting worse is killing me, this is absolutely absurd.

The staff is kind and caring, and service is prompt. It can be a bit pricey, but then again so are most vet clinics. My pets are very well cared for here, and I highly recommend them.

Always a great place to go when I'm need of Vet assistance

While the doctor is nice, you can never book an appointment here in less than a week. You ａｌｗ have to wait for more than 7 days for the next available appointment. And even if you do manage to get an appointment, and I call beforehand (like 10 min before) to see if the appointment times are being delayed, they say no it's fine you shouldn't have to wait and yet I'm in the lobby waiting in the lobby with my kitten for over 35 minutes. The doctor I saw nicely said she had an emergency right before me, and yet I saw her chatting with a customer before me for over 10 minutes. What kind of emergency was that, I wonder? This place is ridiculous and I've decided to go elsewhere. I know three other people who have decided to leave this place for good, for the exact same reason. It's better for you to avoid this place or wait until many more customers leave and then maybe they will have room for your appointment. Make sure to check their many one star reviews.

They take excellent care of your pets. The staff and doctors are caring and take their time. The only downside are their prices. We could only get in during Urgent Care hours so the appointment cost $99. Our cat needed an x-ray which was $399 and found out he needed surgery. They quoted us $4500 to $6000 for the surgery. We ended up having the surgery elsewhere and it was $2500. Great vet just really expensive.

I’ve heard amazing stories about vets until I came to this place. It’s difficult to set up an appointment AND they don’t have anything available for at least a week, which means anything soon had to be an emergency and you’ll get charged more. I called because my cat broke her tooth and they said they didn’t have availability for 5 days. When I was finally on my way, my car got towed for no reason so I’m freaking out but I called a LYFT, on the way I called to let them know I was running 15 minutes late and they said they don’t accept clients over 10 minutes late. Each visit usually takes 10-15 minutes max, so instead of assessing my cat in those 15 minutes left in my appointment to let me know if she has to stay or if I should schedule a surgery at a later date, I have to reschedule my appt and wait another 5 days as my cat has to deal with tooth pain. I’m gonna go to a different vet that actually cares about the wellness of animals and not the financial gain.

i came here for the 1yr puppy deal they have. i’ve stayed past that year now bc i genuinely love the facility. it’s conveniently located, the staff is super friendly, and the facility is extremely clean and nice. the prices are average but considering the care my pet receives and the consistent good experiences i’ve had, i think it’s well worth it. also, they have free snacks and beverages available for both pets and pet owners which i think is very considerate. they have metered street parking right in front of the facility and also free parking in the back.

I had a bad experience in taking my cat to Culver City Animal Hospital (in the past they were good, but on my last visit they were rude and lacked the skills to examine my frightened cat...amateur team that day). Then they refused to ever treat me cat again. So, I went to McGrath Veterinary Center and had a TOTALY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE! Dr. McGrath and his team know how to treat cats and dogs with compassion. My cat must have sensed their nature, because he allowed them to treat him, and he never once tried scratching. Energy is everything when it comes to creating rapport with animals, and these guys have just that. They were also very friendly, compassionate, and it is clear they care deeply for animals and pet owners. I feel blessed to have discovered this vet, and going forward, Dr. McGrath will be my regular veterinarian. Finally, special thank you to his entire staff--exceptional people over there!

Very sweet staff. Already came in with two emergencies and they took me in right away. Very accommodating if you need to get in through waiting list.

Very pleased with our experience here. I was able to get my dog in same-day for an urgent appointment. They were very responsive, accommodating, and best of all, reasonably priced. They also have extended office hours which works well for folks like me with traditional work schedules. I'll be switching permanently from my long time vet at another well-known "chain" clinic. I was referred here by a friend who also had a great experience and has referred a 3rd person here. I too have referred someone. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this Veterinarian when they first opened, but they have grown well beyond their capability to keep up with their clients. You can never call and speak to someone to book an appointment right away - it's always a 5 to 20 minutes hold time. They don't have any appointments available. I just called to book a simple rabies shot and the first appointment to see a technician (not a doctor) is over a week a way, which is ridiculous. Add to this that you get shuffled around to different different vets anytime you come in. I'm just over it. Going to someone else.

Got an appointment in a matter of days. Very clean and modern place. Friendly staff. Everything was done conveniently and efficiently. Highly recommended!

Word of warning, if you are new bringing your dog here you can expect ultra rude people, no diagnosis, even if you follow all of their directions and requests...and im brand new, Im only writing this to warn other people.

My mistake was trusting google reviews. I thought this place would take good care of my cat and because this place is way more expensive than other places, thought it would be better. (they charge $200 dollars for Ringworm test for example and it has been a month still didn't get the culture test result.) We emailed them weeks ago to call us back and they still haven’t called. I spent way over 800 dollars on the first visit for testing and such and this is what I get. We were always polite and never rude. We didn’t even bother them at all. We simply just wrote emails with some questions. 2-3 emails over 3weeks. That is all. When the vet called before we sent the last email, she was talking over us and didn’t listen. If you don’t listen and pay attention to our questions, how would you even answer them? They don’t call you back, they don’t respond much, and the vet says they are super busy. If you are so busy then don’t take customers. Just decline, so people can find another vet who have time for customers. It is so weird how this place seems like they only care about money when you trust them to take care of your family. My friend had a bad experience with this place and warned us , but I still trusted this place. I was a fool but I really thought they care. I thought so because that they are checking lots of thing and charging for all lot of stuff. We never got any certain answers and lots of information was vague. So I gave up. I’m really sad about the whole thing and I blame myself for trusting this place more than anything.

Choose wisely. They are more concerned with money then your loved ones well being it seems. I’m being nice nit explaining details.

We had an injured pug. He was nine months old and attacked by a grown pitbull. Nobody would take us until finally we came across their number and they made space for us so we can make sure that he was taken care of and stabilized. They were kind and compassionate and we’re reasonable with their prices. I feel that the animals come first in this place. I Highly recommend this place so anyone that cares about their furry family.

Pet emergencies can be terrifying, so it's crucial to find compassionate and patient veterinarians. Every DVM and tech at McGrath has been so kind to us. I have never felt confused or unsure about our visit, because they take the time to fully explain the treatment options and answer any questions. You can really tell how much they love animals! One of the best practices we've ever been to, 10/10.

Customer service is almost ALWAYS a problem. I have been spoken to as if I am NOT a paying & loyal customer of this pet clinic for 2 years. Very much so looking for a new Vet office. Dr. Lim is AWESOME however the disrespectful nature of those answering the calls and scheduling appointments is NOT worth my hard earned money.

Awesome service, my dog is a bit aggressive when it comes to the vet. He's a typical male husky. The vet staff was very helpful giving him the vaccine right outside the front door which really helped him to stay calm. Thank again you guys, see you next year
