I went to a different pet hospital the night before I took my boy to this hospital. Let me tel you. I was super upset at the other place because they didn’t make me feel like my dog was a priority. They let other pets before him w no appointment made or anything. They just simply let us wait for 4 1/2 hours. I called for the last time and they said to walk and I waited again for another hour for the doctor to enter the room. I decided it can wait another night and I’ll take them to mast since I took my cat here before and I figured it would be nice to have familiarity. Not only when I showed up they were perfect with my reactive German pup but they only had me wait 15 and NOTICED it was an emergency to help him. We’re stilling training my German so it’s a process but he needed it done asap. Thank you MAST blvd pet hospital for helping my pet and making him a priority when no one else was. He is now healthy and doing so much better than he was when it first happened. ????

A circus. Crowded shopping parking lot, locked up lobby, over a week for pet appointment and then ignored in lot with uncontrolled dogs, one child hurt, staff ignores. Where is a better operation...

I called this place because of an SOS mouse in distress. I was asked if I could hold (which isn't much of a question no matter where you call) I was then on hold for approximately 15 min and 34 seconds before I gave up and hung up.

Friendly staff. Not just this place, but most vets : sucks it cost so much to keep our animal family healthy

Find another animal hospital!! The veterinarian tried to tell me that my purebred standard poodle (which I got from an ethical breeder, not a backyard breeder or a puppy mill ) was not properly vaccinated despite all the proof that he was and nearly killed him by almost giving him an overload of vaccines..it scared me half to death and I will never be going back..

Friendly and knowledgeable staff is really good with pets. They treat them quickly and with tenderness. They come out to your car and collect the pet, then bring it back out to you after. They have the lowest prices in the county!

Super friendly staff. Took great care of my dog. They figured out what his skin problem was when 2 other vets failed to. Highly recommend!

Our dog was taken in for a tooth cleaning, but shortly after dropping him off I discovered he'd eaten 3/4 of an aluminum plate. I immediately called the office and was assured he'd have an xray within the hour to determine if they needed to "open him up". 4 hours later I called them myself only to be told he'll have an xray within the hour... again. 3 hours later I called again and was told the xray had been completed (didn't bother to call me) and that nothing was showing up and there was no way he had metal in his stomach. To the point I was told I was exaggerating the problem. 2 days later I began to find metal shards up to an INCH long in his stool. We will not be returning to this doctors office for fear of our dogs Wellbeing.

Very friendly staff. They don’t trick you into spending ridiculous amounts of money and always offer other solutions first before surgeries if possible. They really care about your pets.

Have to update and it makes me sad. My experience with customer service lately has been bad. The presentation of the information is more important than the actual info given. Show some empathy towards how people are feeling. I have had this vet for years and since COVID19 the customer service has dramatically plummeted. There is a tech I have had a few times and I would never had continued to come to this vet if she was the first encounter I have ever had. We asked a question and she said she would find out (did this twice) and never got back to is with the answer. The actual care I question at this point too. I brought my pup in for a foxtail in her paw and they told me it wasn't, two days later it pushed through the top of her foot. She was in needless pain for 2 days and thankfully pushed out instead of working up the leg. At this point Nicole (not sure of spelling) has been consistent in providing good customer service. Thank you. I get being busy due to COVID-19. Over worked and under staffed. I work with people that psychosis and physically aggressive. I am supposed to have twice as many staff as I have had over the last year and we are all tired. To include a covid outbreak with most staff and clients testing positive for it, being in head to toe suits and not just masks.

If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I’ve been taking my dog here for years now, ever since he was puppy and every time it just seems like they are trying to get the most money out of you instead of having the best interest of my animal. They’ve misdiagnosed many times but the last one was the worst to say the least. Took my dog in because he had a mild cough and they wanted to treat it for allergies without doing any tests first as well as give him a 4-in-1 vaccine. I said okay without doing the research, which was a mistake on my part entirely. After all was said and done, my dog seemed to be in even worse condition and declined in a matter of days, so we took him back a few days later to find out he had congestive heart failure caused from a heart murmur they somehow never noticed after the 5 almost 6 years of going to them. And after receiving the medication to treat the heart failure, upon our refill the next time around we found out they gave us the wrong prescription because it was a different label and bottle and they didn’t even think to tell us. COVID also made things worse because we weren’t able to go with him so I honestly have no idea what they did to him in there, but I took him to another vet afterwards and he squirmed and refused to go in, which he’s never done before. Needless to say this is the worst vet I have ever been to. Do not take your animals here, they are shady and do not have the best interest of your animals whatsoever, they are just in it to make a buck. Such a sham!

Thank you for giving our family dog the best care possible. Though we had to make the toughest decision, I appreciate you making accommodations so we could be present for her til the end. You all are very caring. Mast Blvd pet hospital has a caring team and pleasant to work with.

I have a 4 yr old dog with some post trauma issues due to being involved in dog fighting prior to my adopting her. Needless to say she has a few issues that i have to accommodate for example: Chloe refuses to allow ANYONE touch her paws or feet in any way with thr exception ot myself. Therefore i have to pay the vet to sedate Chloe each time her nails need to be trimmed. Not a full sedation but just a little enough to keep her totally calm and relaxed. Well let me tell everyone that this is not a cheap procedure to have done by any means. Most often times i have been quoted a price of nearly $400 dollars. TO CLIP TOENAILS!! Well i found this place and decided to give them a call and was quoted the price of $99 dollars for the same exact procedure. Not to mention that the staff that works in the back is absolutely amazing and they rock at their jobs and handle my girl with the upmost care and kindness each visit. Highly recommend and have no issue giving this place 5 out of 5 stars. ***** Superb customer service!! Thanks girls!

They take care of our puppy. Been taking him here since we got him over a year and a half ago. They saved us a bunch of money when he injured his leg. Emergency pet hospital was estimating us over $3,000 but when we got the second opinion through Mast they confirmed it was just a sprain and sure enough he recovered in a day or so. One happy pup. He loves going here. Not sure what they give him or if it's just the attention but because he loves it, we love it as well lol.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, OVERPRICED! I will never come here again. I booked an appointment for my 4 dogs to get a health certificate a week out. 15 min before my appointment time I get a call that they were canceling my appointment because they say they cannot do international health certificates(HC). I explained to them that a HC to Puerto Rico is not international but she kept saying that she"thinks" is only the 50 states, which meant they hadn't looked it up to confirm before canceling my appointment 2 days before my dogs were due to fly out. I called back (now 15 min after my originally schedule appt) after re reading the requirements online and confirmed that they did not need an international HC. After speaking to them again I was placed on hold constantly for another 15 minutes while they looked up the regulations. Finally I was told that yes they could do the certificate but it was now 30 minutes past my appointment time and they could not see my dogs because they were double booked and couldn't fit them in .I was placed on hold constantly for another 15 minutes while they looked up the regulations. After complaining they agreed to see 2 dogs that day and 2 the next day. One day prior to our move and flight. After waiting 2 hours in the car for the 1st 2 dogs I was given a bill of a $180. Exams $60 which I completely understand but then $30 per dog for one health certificate with 1 signature. Each certificate holds enough lines for 6 dogs with about 6 blocks to fill out per dog. We have had to do a lot of overseas moves and for every other one they charge you per certificate, Not per dog. Plus I still had to bring my other 2 over for another $180 charge. If this vet doesn't cancel on you they only seem to be worried about money. Both days I had the baby in the car with me so I asked how long it would take. Every answer was "just a few minutes." Apparently hours to them is only a few minutes for people sitting out in a car. I wish I had never wasted my time and money coming here.
