They were very cheerful and helpful. Better than any Vet out there. They don't turn you away when your hurting financially. They give you the break you need to care for your pet. I love them, and would say to anyone to go there. I trust them.

I brought my dog in for emergency treatment and they made the whole process much less painful for both of us. She’s already back on duty supervising yard clean up. I am very grateful for the kind, caring and compassionate service provided! This little one was a rescue too.

Had my daughter's new kitty (brought home from visiting Dad this summer????) neutered and vaccinated here 1 1/2 weeks ago. It was an easy drop off and pick up and the procedures went as planned. The staff is professional and calm and everyone was masked appropriately. They also give detailed pick up and aftercare instructions. You can also text anytime during the day to check on your pet. Very impressed. And Bean (new kitty) recovered almost immediately. A+++ guys thank you.

Great place!!! They have one of the best Humane Society facilities I have been too. The have really good caring and knowledgeable staff. They offer many more services for you and your pet, like obedience training classes, spay and neutering services, and pet adoption. I really enjoyed my experience with Sonoma County Humane Society.

The Humane Society is amazing. A no kill shelter funded by donations, they have critters for adoption, a low cost spay/neuter clinic, and the low cost Community Veterinary Clinic (Tuesday afternoons). The people are so nice and kind. If you are low income with a pet and concerned about affording health care for your best friend, this is the place to go. I got more attention to my dog for $85 than at a Veterinary Hospital for $240. Exam, lab work, prescriptions (2) and a diagnosis. My dog has Canine Epilepsy and there is no way I can afford to keep her otherwise healthy at regular rates. If this place did not exist I would lose her and all the joy she brings me. The explanation of the diagnosis and treatment was thorough and encouraging. Staff has been available by phone, on line and in person to advise me as we work out medication to prevent seizures. I cannot imagine better service elsewhere at any price. They have a website that gives more info on services, volunteering, training classes, donations more. Look for the giant tin dog (by Amiot) on Hwy 12 just West of Llano Rd going toward Sebastopol.

I sure appreciate the excellent care they gave to a cat, Peaches who was left behind by my neighbors 5 months ago. I already have pets with health issues which make it very difficult to nearly impossible to afford another animal’s health care. Through the exceptional people at Dogwood Animal Rescue, the shelter was able to provide excellent care to Peaches who was severely matted, had an eye infection and needed vaccines. These two organizations truly have the well being of all these precious animals at heart. They are kind, compassionate and devoted. When this pandemic is behind us, I hope I will be able to volunteer with them in order to give back and keep the circle of kindness and giving going for these helpless animals in need. Truly compassionate and caring people.

Such a blessing to have extra help to cover some needs during the shelter in place order limiting so many people's income.Thank you to the volunteers and the kind people who give food and supplies... If you have anything gently used or left from picky eaters .. please donate and help animals in need.
