Nice staff, efficient work, successful with all kinds of dogs including calming dogs that bug out for a nail trim like mine.

Jane is amazing! We've taken our little rescue girl, Persimmon, to multiple groomers and even the vet couldn't trim her nails, but Yo Dawg was able to do it! They were so great with her! I still can't believe how good she looks.

My dog Billy loved his visit. It was his first time!

I have been taking my fur baby Sugar to Jayne for the past 5 years. They do amazing work. I completely forgot about my appointment the other day and they were able to still get her in for services. Always satisfied and if not Jayne always does the right thing. Thanks Jayne and team for taking care of Sugar all these years.

I started bringing my English Bulldog Buddy here after the place I used to take him stopped clipping nails because of Covid-19. He's a handful and hates having his nails clipped. They do an amazing job and the two times I took him, the nails are short and on spot! The owner is very sweet and we will definitely become regulars going forward. Highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. My puppy had an ear infection and the drops caused his entire head to become saturated with grease - he looked a mess! After he was better, I needed to find a groomer that would 1. Be able to help with the grease problem 2. Be able to handle a squirmy little guy 3. Make his first grooming experience a good one. I was overwhelmed with how great Jane and the rest of the staff were with my little man. Not only was the grease handled, but he looked better than I’ve ever seen him! They were extremely accommodating and good with him. I’m so happy to have found a good groomer I can trust!

So glad I didn't leave my ShihTzu at Petco. I did not like the vibe at all over there. You can tell the employees don't love their job. I took my dog to Yo Dawg and Tony did an excellent job. He was very gentle and patient with my usually scared dog. I will come back. Thank you very much.

Luigi gets groomed by Chris. He knows how to keep Luigi calm. The place is clean and calm, the employees are friendly, which all helps nervous dogs. Great first time experience at yo dawg !

Yo Dogg is a great, affordable spot with a friendly staff. They always take good care of Moxx Michael. Appointments and walk-ins welcome. I swing by for nail clippings, ear cleanings, and baths regularly and they always find available groomers. The owners are from Scotland too....which feels like home for an Irishman:)

By far the best grooming my dog has gotten. Staff is very friendly and they all love your dog almost more than you. Grooming and deshed services are very thorough

I had such a lovely experience. Independently owned and operated, which I LOVE! I have a 47 lb Briard/German Shepherd mix who grows out to be very very shaggy. After grooming, he looks polished, symmetrical and like a new pup! There is a VIP program, where if you get 11 baths/grooms you get a free bath. Also, visit the pet food store next to the groomer and mention Yo Dawg because you get $5 OFF! Thanks Yo Dawg Groom Spot, we will be back!

Great friendly staff and prices!

I love my groomer Robin I have followed her from a previous location. My dog is not the easiest to groom since he love being a mess typical male. Since day one that Robin started to groom my baby I knew I found the perfect groomer. She gives great customer care by listening to your needs and make great suggestion for style and maintenance. I love her and trust her fully with my Thor.

This groomer deserves zero stars. My Yorkie came home with a large cut on her face from the clippers/scissors. The groomer claimed he "did nothing wrong" and that we must have not noticed a scab on my puppies face that just got aggravated during the session. This claim was nothing short of disgusting. My puppy has bee traumatized and will be left with a scar across her face. DO NOT SEND YOUR ANIMAL HERE! YOU WILL RISK PERMANENT HARM!

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. We took our puppies there to get a hair cut and it was a disaster. One of our little babies came home with her face completely mauled by clippers or scissors. She has been traumatized since her experience at Yo Dawg Groom. The injury will likely leave a scare on her beautiful little face. To add insult to injury when I called them in shock and horror that this could have happened they proceeded to tell me they didn't do anything wrong. They said, "Maybe the dog had a scab on her face that got disturbed during the cut." I LOOK AT MY DOGS FACE EVERYDAY for the last 3 years, I would know if it had a massive scab/cut on it's face. Unbelievable. DO NOT take your pet there. If you ever come across a groomer named TONY, run, don't walk, or he could do the same to your little ones.

I took my Yorker for the first time, yo dawg gave me a free oatmeal treatment. They put me in their system now when I call I just give them my telephone number n they know my last services, my last groomer n my pets name. They are cheaper then PETCo. Yo Dog will be my regular groomer.

loved it, they did an awesome job on my Jack, family owned and the Scottish owner was charming and an obvious doggie lover, no shaking from my pooch this time, so glad i found them:)

I was impressed by the genuine love the staff showed my dog. I felt comfortable leaving my baby there for grooming. My dog was delighted to see me but he had a fun time waiting for me. Highly recommend Yo Dawg in Santa Monica
