We rescued 2 dogs in 2008 and 2009. Dodger and Daisy. They were the best little pups ever. ❤

I’m a little confused at how this whole establishment operates. I had been in contact with them about adopting a dog for two weeks. I made one appointment and someone came in before me and swooped the dog which was later returned to the shelter. They reached out to me after and scheduled another appointment and once again someone came in and adopted the dog before me. I don’t see the point in making appointments to visit/adopt when another person can just come in and take the dog. It’s a flawed system and overall a very unprofessional establishment. It's clear to me that they don't care where the dogs ends up they just want them out of their shelter as quickly as possible.

They were wonderful and allowed me to adopt the best doggie I could have ever hoped for. I’m indebted to them.

After emailing with Nancy about an available dog, that she stated in an email to me specifically that he was available, I arrived at their location at opening only to be told the dog I was told was available 20 minutes ago had been adopted by an employee. To me this seems unprofessional and was hurtful. I don’t see a point in trying to adopt from them if they’re just going to give the dogs to employees. I can’t see a reason to contact them if you’re interested in adopting.

I rescued a toy dog Leon in October. I flew down from Northern Calif . When I arrived I was greeted by Renee who had him ready to go. We later changed his name to Skippy. He is everything and more that they told me he was. We become an important part of our family . We love him.

Perfect Pet Rescue matched my family with the perfect dog and I am FOREVER GRATEFUL They know what dog is right for you based on what your situation is. I would recommend to find your new family companion here. It is a wonderful thing they do rescuing neglected, abandoned dogs and finding them the perfect family that will show them the love they deserve and with my dog I can see how much he appreciates it I love him so much and am so glad Perfect Pet Rescue rescued him from the killer shelter he was in

I always wondered if reviews were real today I can say they are because it's true Perfect Pet Rescue really knows what they are doing. They find your perfect pet to fit your Family. I went in there trying to adopt a small 2 year old dog and Rene explained to me why that dog wouldn't fit my family of 7 since I had two little ones. They truly know their dogs needs likes and dislikes. She said there was another dog that would fit in our family that was more calm and would be good around my small children. He was a 5 year old terrier mix. When I first met him I thought he was to big and wondered if he would truly like our family. Turns out he rescued my family he has changed our lives we couldn't be more greatful for finding the Perfect Pet. I recommend this place 100% !!!You honestly don't rescue them they rescue you!!! This is the place to adopt seriously.

So grateful to Perfect Pet Rescue for helping us adopt such an awesome dog! My husband & I had been looking around online for a couple months for an available dog to adopt during a certain time frame when would have some free time to devote. We’d seen several dogs featured on different websites but each was already adopted when we'd call. We noticed Perfect Pet Rescue was having an adoption event the following weekend and saw one dog — advertised as a 15 lb, 4 year old, female terrier poodle mix — that especially appealed to us. Although we were about to leave town for a week, we called PPR to inquire. They got back to us promptly and invited us to come by that same day to where the dog was being kept at the Center Sinai Animal Hospital in Culver City. (Apparently, she had been surrendered by her owner to the Carson Shelter, a high kill facility, from where PPR rescued her after just 1 night there.) In spite a very knowledgeable and experienced family member -- who volunteers with, fosters, owns and trains dogs -- advising us against adopting the first animal we saw, we felt this first dog we were seeing was the one for us! However, when we asked about waiting until we returned from our trip out of town, but PPR told us this dog might no longer be available a week later. So, after they promised to line up one of their volunteers to board our new pooch until we got back, we went ahead and signed the papers, and they did find someone responsible and caring to watch her We daily feel grateful this doggie has turned out to be such a wonderful animal (the vet thinks she’s a Havanese mix) and such an awesome addition to our family!!

My girlfriend has been fostering with them for the past several years. They take great care of their rescues, and they do a great job of finding the best fit for a forever home.
