I am a certified dog trainer and was visiting my family in CA helping them with their new puppy. I needed to find a local trainer for them and I found Balanced Dogs. Dee spent a lot of time with me on the phone and answered all my questions. She was great with providing the information that I needed and sending follow up details. She was professional and seemed very knowledgeable. I would definitely use Balanced Dogs

Dee has an uncanny, sixth sense about dogs which is informed by her many years of experience with countless breeds -- and with countless humans who are trying to understand what she feels innately. Dee is the best--she is super strict but my puppy was house trained in 2 weeks. Yo.u have to follow her instructions and work hard but her method works! You won't be sorry! I couldn't be happier

I am so happy we found Dee! She is an all around wealth of information for all things dog. I worked with her years ago when she trained my moms dog so of course, when I got my own puppy, I chose her for help. It has been amazing to work with her to raise my little pup! She is incredibly knowledgable and fully cares about dogs and their wellbeing. She worked with us to get our puppy house trained, as well as leash-walking, obedience, and general health. Dee has been around for us when our puppy wasn't feeling well and has brought us SO much peace of mind that we are doing the right thing. Having a dog for the first time is incredibly challenging, I truly don't know how we would've gotten through the first hard weeks without her. Additionally, our puppy has gone to her playschool since she was tiny and it has been incredible for her socialization with other dogs. During playschool Dee enforced house training, crate training, and all other aspects we were working on with our pup. Because of this training went SO much faster and we were able to spend more time enjoying our little baby! I am so happy we worked with Dee, for our sake and for our dogs. I trust Dee more than any other person in the world to give me her honest opinion regarding the safety and wellbeing of my dog. When my dog is with Dee I am completely at ease knowing there is no better care for her. Additionally, when I get Dee's advice on an issue with her, I know I am getting an incredible perspective that will enhance my relationship with my dog.

I can’t say enough with Balance Dog knows best! At the time my puppy was 6 months old and I don’t have any idea how to train him. I called Dee and the next day, she came to my place meet my puppy. She came twice a week for training session. Sometimes, we are at the Park training. Now my puppy is 1 year old and well behaved, listening with my commands. I can take him anywhere even in the restaurant with no problem. Thank you Dee. I highly recommend Balance Dog.

Dee was so great and the dogs loved her!

Dee is a very talented and very kind behaviorist; our dogs took to her right away. She helped us with our most recent rescue who came off the street and was quite a handful; she also guided us in purchasing special equipment which facilitated getting him on track! In short, she's great at training BOTH the dogs and their people!

I've know Dee for a while and I've found her dog training style and process very successful and effective. I highly recommend her.
