Evergreen Animal Clinic Santa Maria, California

2022 Well the warm and wonderful Dr. Magee helped my Simon so much once again. He had a growth on his tail and she encouraged me to have it removed. I waited a little while but then decided that "Doctor Knows Best" and went ahead and scheduled Simon for the surgery. Before surgery they did a blood and urine workup and found he also had the beginning of a Urinary infection. So that was immediately stopped in its tracks with antibiotics. Simon's tail is all healed up now. Even though he's almost twelve, he is acting like a young kitten running everywhere and exploring. He feels so great! I feel so blessed to have found such a great vet! 2021 Today ....a year from my last visit, we visited Dr. Magee again. Wow! What an amazing vet! So warm and caring. I feel very blessed to have found her! Simon is healthier and happier then he has ever been. I am so relieved. The staff is great, too!.

I think the nurses are phony. They have no patience. They almost push you out the door before you really have to go. They don't have alot of compassion. It's unfortunate ????

Dr D is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but he is personable and passionate about what he does. I first took my dog to Dr D in Pismo about 7 years ago. When he moved down to Evergreen in Santa Maria, I tried four vet clinics in SLO to be closer to home. None of them even came close to Dr D, so I gladly drove my dog to Evergreen! We saw Dr Magee a couple of times and thought she was amazing also!!

Evergreen Animal Clinic is the best! I have been bringing my cat Vincent here for about a year now and the care is excellent. Everyone is very professional and so caring. I especially like how I always get a follow up text asking about Vincent and asking me to checkin with the office/doctor to let them know how he is doing in the days following his appointment. I highly recommend Evergreen Animal Clinic for top-rate care for your pets.

We have been taking our dogs to Evergreen Animal Clinic for over 5+ years. The staff is really friendly to us and extremely awesome with our animals. I also love the fact that the Dr’s follow up with us via text message as well if we have a general question that the staff can’t answer. Right now with Covid we pull up, check in by calling in and they will come out and take our dogs in whether for their annual check up, vaccines, etc. Customer service is completely stellar at Evergreen and we highly recommend you taking your animals there too!

We have been taking our animals to this clinic for over 12 years the ladies at the front desk are super sweet kind and friendly ,the veterinarians there love our animals they treat our pets like their own and I can tell that they love what they do , I wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you are looking for somewhere to take your pets I recommend Evergreen .

This has to be the single greatest animal clinic I have ever been to. The staff is legitimately caring, and leaves me feeling like I'm in such great hands. I just moved back from sacramento where I tried 3 different vets, all letting me down and just seeming so uninterested in my dog. Believe me when I say, you want to bring your animal here, to be part of the family. Since bringing my pup here his quality of life has gone through the roof! Thank you evergreen animal clinic, you guys are the bees knees.

Today, February 2, 2021, I took Jaxon in for an exam regarding allergies and a rash. Dr. D and the entire staff where professional, caring, and kind. Jaxon received excellent care and treatment. Dr. D took the time to discuss with me Jaxon’s health issues and recommendations to enhance his future health. I would highly recommend Evergreen and I will continue to take Jaxon for his health issues.

I have been taking my dogs to Evergreen Animal Hospital since I moved back to the area last year. I have had to take them in for everything from annual checkups, vaccines, emergencies (foxtail got stuck in my dogs jaw and abcessed) and dental cleanings. The doctors and staff have always been absolutely fantastic without exception. They really care about my dogs and want the best for them. I highly recommend Evergreen Animal Clinic to all of my friends and family.

Really appreciate all the staff here. They were great with my new dog when I brought her in for the first time. They had patience and care dealing with her and with me (this is my first dog so I had a lot of questions.) Everything was scheduled and handled efficiently and easily, and the staff were so friendly! When I needed a refill on my dog's meds about 6 months later, they were easy to get a hold of on the phone and were able to fill it that same day. I had my dog's meds within 2 hours of having called them! Evergreen Animal Clinic has helped make getting my first dog a wonderful experience!

We saw Dr. Emily and she was great! Super gentle and informative. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Glad to have them locally.

Not too many details given made it seem as if they were one locally that could do the procedure. Prices are inflated. I would recommend Santa Maria Humane Society seem to have more compassion for the animal rather than the profit at the Humane Society.

We’ve been taking our dog to Evergreen for 10 years now. We have never had a bad experience. The staff is excellent — knowledgeable and friendly. They always take the time to explain various options and pricing. They’ve always managed to remedy our dog’s itchy skin and help him avoid infection, too.
