Dr. Hall and the whole staff are kind and really go the extra mile to care for our animals!

Dr. George Hall virtually saved our calico cat with diabetes. The VIP WELLNESS CENTER Who had treated our cat from 1 year old declined to see her and even do blood test during COVID. that DVM said go to a full service since Cali had lost so much weight. Luckily I found George through our horse club. He is very thorough and goes extra step to research unknown.

Doctor Hall and his crew are truly outstanding. I brought in my dog for an eye issue. My dog had already been seen by our regular vet but his eye wasn't clearing up. Doctor Hall immediately fixed my dog's eye, it was amazing! Doctor Hall not only has years of experience with helping pets, you can see how much he truly loves animals, in fact, I think he talks with the animals. The staff are also caring and helpful. I won't take my pets anywhere else!

took my cat here during covid for travel vaccinations, got him back extremely resistant to veterinarians. idk what happened but his attitude did a 180 and his current vet says he seems "traumatized"??

Best vets! 2 of my dogs get really nervous at the vet, but the vet here somehow always put them at ease. Such a huge deal for us! The rest of the staff truly loves animals too

Had my daughter bring family pet in & staff at front desk was rude. Had to call ourselves to get an up date . Felt they could called just to provide an update my husband a senior so we get a senior discount. they question my daughter saying they didn’t understand as to why she was getting a discount for senior . Parking awful . Also had been in for about a year files on pets were archived and the reception on the phone couldn’t even figure out where my chart was didn’t even have a clue to look in the archives files.

Thank you for the caring, professional, and efficient manner in which all at Ocean Animal Clinic managed our appointment. I truly appreciated the expertise, and the mere fact that the vet came out to speak to me about our beloved Coco was indicative of your commitment to high quality care for our pets. Seriously, a huge thank you!

I am disappointed in their customer service and especially to the girl who answered the phone. They need to hire someone better who is more passionate, compassionate, and shows they actually like their job. I called on Monday, 5/10/2020 around 8am to make an appointment for my dog and to see Dr.Hall since he is our primary veterinarian. I was worried about my dog health condition but it wasn't life threatening or necessary to bring him to the emergency room. The girl was rude and stated they don't have any openings until the end of the month, and I should go to the Emergency. In all 12 years of my dog's life never I experienced that kind of service since I am not just a new client but a regular client. She didn't even bother to ask me what my dog condition is nor took the time to check in with Dr. Hall if he can even see my dog which usually they do but to just read the appointment book. It is sad that someone like her who is the front line can ruin a business and services. First of all, why do I need to spend xyz as amount of money to an emergency clinic when we already have our primary clinic open during business hours and a worried dog mom to have her dog get checked. Not only that, my past experiences I feel like this clinic only cares about your money than the quality of care and services. In my past visit, I had to come to different appointment to get my dog condition solved instead of coming back again and getting charged twice for the same problem. I gave it another chance and this time what I experienced over the phone was already my breaking point to discontinue my service and seek another vet clinic. Luckily, we have an amazing dog walker who referred us to another veterinarian as well with all of their clients and I was happy that they took me in right away.

Dr. Hall is wonderful - providing excellent attention to both pets and owners! Very knowledgeable, answers questions thoroughly and works with you on alternative solutions to pets' care if desired.

Right now we can't go in w/ our pets..they pick up & deliver pets in the parking lot Before covid we could be with our pets, they were very accommodating. My cat is afraid of people so I need to be w/her They sell prescription food & flea meds.George Hall, DVM seems to be a very good Vet

You can tell that the people at this clinic really put pets first. They genuinely care about helping animals more than they care about making money. Their prices are the best i've seen so far, and they will take your pet in for a checkup after a procedure for no cost. The parking is pretty bad, but it's worth it for me.

This is my first time going to this clinic and the technician, front desk lady and vet himself was very very polite, informative and thorough. I have never gotten such a detailed diagnosis on my cat whose struggled with eye discharge for a year that no vet has abled to figure out. He suspect that she has cat papilloma virus and gave her some supplements to help immune system (that has improved on her condition so much) Previous vets also told me that her ear is just very waxy and dr hall confirmed that it was a yeast infection this whole time!!!! He really knows cats, this will be my go to clinic from now on.

Very unprofessional experience just now. I write a lot so if TL:DR these are the three most upsetting points: - I called to check in as soon as I arrived (curbside service), then waited in my car for twenty minutes. When I called back, they didn't know I was here (?) - I was not allowed to come in with my pet due to COVID-19, but had not been told this at any point in advance of the appointment, and it was not indicated on the website. - As I waited, I saw an employee with no face covering stick his head into another customer's car and talk to them for an extended period of time. My experience: I made an appointment online. I showed up with my dog between 5 and 10 minutes early for our appointment, parked, and walked her to the dog side entrance, where I found the door was locked, but there was a sign indicating that I should return to my car and call for curbside service. I was surprised, because I hadn't been told anything about curbside, but I did as instructed. I waited about ten minutes. My appointment time came and went. I called back, but no one answered, so I left a voicemail. As I waited, I saw clinic employees bringing pets out to cars, and it started to dawn on me that by "curbside," they meant that I wouldn't be allowed in with my pet at all. One of the employees, a younger looking guy with red hair, was not wearing any type of face covering and I watched as he stuck his head completely inside a customer's car to have a conversation with them. If I was expected to follow such rigid COVID-19 cautionary measures, why were the clinic's employees not even following basic ones? It got to be 15 minutes past my appointment time when I finally got a call from the clinic. The person on the phone said, "I got your voicemail, you're here?" I'd been here at least twenty minutes at this point and had called and said so when I'd first arrived. She apologized and explained that they'd been busy with other customers. Okay, but I had an appointment at a particular time, and I haven't even been checked in yet. Then I asked her to confirm that I would not be allowed in the clinic with my dog. She said that was indeed the case. Now, I have no problem with COVID-19 precautions, but trusting strangers with your pet without your supervision is a big ask, and I had not been told this information at any step in my appointment process. There's a link on the website about a "Covid-19 Update," but at the time of writing it says "Drop-off appointments are also available where you are able to drop off your pet without having to enter the hospital ie your pet would be transferred to a staff member from the parking lot and we would contact you after exam for further treatment, if indicated" which sounds optional, not mandatory. At no point was I told I'd be expected to let my pet go to her appointment alone. She has pretty severe separation anxiety due to being abandoned as a puppy. This was just a check-up, and it was in no way necessary to put her through the anxiety of not only having to go to the vet but having to do so alone. If I'd been told about this policy in advance, it wouldn't be an issue. I'd have simply postponed the appointment or sought an appointment elsewhere with a different policy. I asked the woman on the phone why I hadn't been told, and she just said "There are signs on the door." Not helpful. I canceled the appointment.

Came in for an appointment for my kitten and got a clean bill of health only for next week see he has a UTI and possible other health condition. Granted something could have happened that week to cause a UTI. Dr. Hall called me after the clinic had closed the day after I took my cat in so putting in the culture took 2 extra days to be sent though. I called to get the results back three days after the culture was tested and was told I would receive a phone call that day. I never did and the next day I called once only to be told I would be called back shorty, 2 hours later I called again and was put on hold then hung up on. It's been a week since I took my kitten to the vet and I'm still not sure if he is ok or needs more antibiotics, would not recommend you go here.

We recently became patients at this vet. Dr. Hall was polite & saw my cattle dog for conjunctivitis. Dr. Hall said he would call back the next day because they ran out of our prescribed medication. My husband requested the script to take to a local pharmacy as that was more timely. Dr. Hall never called us back , they never gave us the script, and nobody called for follow up care. After 6 days went by, WE called them (twice). This delay has furthered my pups *very* contagious infection recovery. As a result of the delay, my other puppy has contracted it. So NOT one BUT TWO dog are seeking treatment. The offices negligence may have been a mistake, but at what cost? We hope to have better experiences in the future.

Love this place. Dr. George is one of the most compassionate and kind people I've ever met. He's taken care of 4 of our animals thus far, and has even come to our house when it was time for one of our beloved dogs to go. Aside from Dr. George, Ocean Animal Clinic's prices are very reasonable - an important thing when you have 10 animals :)

Dr Hall is thorough and we never feel rushed. Staff very friendly. It only lost the 5 star rating fro me because of the parking and location. You really should carry any skittish pet into the building, it's a very busy intersection and if they get loose they are in the street instantly.

Everyone was SO nice. During this quarantine some people have tended to be a little short but from the first call I made to the last exchange we had after his appointment, they were smiles and just lovely! They even gave my wild pup a few chew toys that he loves!

Dr Hall did a wonderful job of examining my 12 yr old golden. He got on the floor with my dog for probably 20 minutes, and did the most thorough exam any vet has ever done. Had he done this when my dog was a pup, we'd have been able to deal with some displasia issues that were not noted by our early vet. Also he did a great job at removing a skin tag from my dog's eyelid...healing was rapid and the cost was a fraction of what another vet had proposed charging. The office is old and dated and could be a turnoff, but the service is excellent and staff attentive.
