Awesome folks. Great place in the woods, and my dogs always go there — and come back — with their tails wagging crazily.

Great price for dog boarding. The runs are a bit small, but they let the dogs out multiple times a day. Friendly service. My GSD is usually a bit nervous around people, but she always comes and goes to Heritage with a wagging tail.

My dog Toby loves this place. He is always excited to go there. Unlike other kennels where we need to drag him in because he feels like we are abandoning him. Heritage Kennel is like family to him. He jumps out of the car when we get there and want's to run inside. They really take good care of him.

I started taking my GS puppy Lincoln to Heritage Kennels this year. I have left him at some larger kennels in this area but have to say my experience at Heritage sticks out from the others and keeps me coming back. My pup definitely gets some seperation anxiety and can be very dramatic when I leave him anywhere and after just a few times of taking him to Heritage I noticed instead of him being upset that i was leaving him he was happy to see Beth! Beth has sent me pictures and updates with how he is doing while he's there. Something else that makes this kennel stand out, depending on your dog and what suits them she is able to offer group play, one on one time with her in the yard with your pup or even just walks if thats what your pup prefers. From a pet owner and fellow huge animal lover you can tell she genuinely cares and loves the pets she takes care off.  if your thinking about trying it here, give it a go you won't be dissapointed ????

Duke my GWP and I love working with this kennel in the woods. What makes this family business unique is the location tucked away in the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz mountains about two miles off the 17, and the super experienced and easy-going folks who work there. The dogs are kept in outdoor/ indoor runs individually, and then brought to larger fenced in yards every few hours. It's a system that works well to maximize exercise, interest and enjoyment while minimizing any potential for drama. It's just Duke's speed, he comes back happy, fit and rested, like he's been to canine summer camp. I find the peaceful drive from the Peninsula the perfect bookend to any vacation or business trip. Super recommend.

We have been boarding our beloved Chihuahua at Heritage for roughly 7 or 8 years. He always comes back happy to see us (of course!) and in good condition. The kennels are clean, well kept and Hector requires all vaccinations to be current before accepting an animal. I have never had any complaints or issues. Good people. Good care.

We live our ????, obviously we were not about to just take her any place with out doing research first. Everything looked good on paper, but we wanted to see the place for our selves. We showed up unannounced and there was a couple dropping of 2 dogs when we drove up and the dogs just ran in happy as ever, This was the first good sign. Next we ask if we can tour the place and even though it was not during their touring hours and they allowed us to view everything it's very basic and simple but what I love the most about this place is the dogs don't interact with other dogs. Some people may not like that but I like that because even though we have a German Shepherd we got her from a shelter and she was abused in the past and is very afraid of other dogs and can be easily intimidated. Also when I took my dog to a different Doggy Daycare she got mites from another dog and that cost me a lot of money to diagnose and to get rid of so I was not about to go through that again. This is a No Frills simple kennel and it gets the job done when you're away for long.

The best place to board doggies!! My dog is aggressive pitbull and they always have a spot for her. I'm always short notice drop of, with in an hour. They have stayed open later for me. Overall the best place.

Hector does a great job with my Lily who is shy. She also had an injured knee and later needed surgery and Hector was very careful with her. He comes out to get her when she goes for day-care. I highly recommend Heritage Kennel if you want to know you best friend is in good hands!

We have been taking our two large Boxers here for around 10 years. We use them exclusively whenever we go out of town which happens quite often since our family is spread out across the country. My dogs were just there for 15 days while we were on a trip to France. The dogs were happy and healthy when I picked them up. I would not hesitate to recommend this kennel to friends, neighbors, and family. They feed according to our instructions and administer medications as required. Overall a very good well run operation.

We've been really happy with the service at Heritage Kennel. Hector is always so friendly, and the dogs run right in the door! It's always nice to know they're happy while we're away.
