For three decades, I have consistently received excellent service from Dr. Clay, the other vets, and staff at Chanticleer Veterinary Hospital. More recently, Dr. Meadows performed life-saving surgery on our cat and has been a trusted source of information and care for this cat and our other pet, a rescue dog. My husband and I are very satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Every single member of the staff that my family and I have met or worked directly with our pets is absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, professional, caring, informative, thorough, respectful, thoughtful, dedicated, and blessings to our family and all of our crazy critters. They have lifelong friends and patients and we have an amazing veterinarian office ????

I had come to know about Chanticleer through fostering cats through the SPCA. I ended up adopting one of the foster cats. I took him to my vet, and wasn't really happy with how he was taken care of. So, because of an ongoing issue with his health, I took him to Chanticleer. I was very impressed with Dr. Meadows, she was professional, but also, down to earth, obviously compassionate and took good care of "my boy". All the staff were great too. During this obviously stressful time of coved, they were all a breath of fresh air.

We have been bringing Wally since he was adopted next door 10 years ago. On this occasion, he was seen for follow up of heart murmur and recent finding of enlarged heart on chest XR. Dr Meadows was very professional in her manner, she did a thorough exam, she clearly explained different treatment options with us. The charge was appropriate. I feel empowered and well-informed to make the best choices for my dogs. I've never felt forced into making a decision and I've never felt pushed into more expensive tests - I've only ever gotten open and frank discussions and honest recommendations that prioritize the health and happiness of my pups. I had a very successful walk-in on Friday, Jan 26th, after going to the groomer and getting a recommendation to have my dogs annals expressed at my vet. Very convenient - right next door. They were fast and helpful - as always - Linda On again, when we went in for my dog Lucy's Annual, we got great service and assistance at Chanticleer Vet Hospital - whether once a year for the annual exam and shots, or unexpected visits to handle infections and other problems. The Vets and staff are very experienced in handling whatever comes up. I have complete confidence in their ability to resolve my dogs issues - from annals to an ear infection. Rave reviews for the Chanticleer Veterinary Hospital outpatient clinic. We've seen both vets, Dr. Condreay & Dr. Clay and they both were so helpful, professional, and caring of our SPCA Santa Cruz adopted kitten. I've called a couple of times and Noelle at the front desk goes above and beyond to provide info and the vet called me back giving us great info & advice, w/o needing to go in for an appointment. I feel very confident knowing they are there for any issue that might come up. Getting a timely appointment has always been great too. Kudos to the practice!

Chanticleer veterinary hospital came to the rescue when my senior cat needed to be seen urgently. The staff were all very kind, professional, and caring. Operating under COVID-19 restrictions is difficult and I really appreciated the safety precautions the team took and ensured that the appointment was as seamless and safe as possible. Huge thank you to everyone at CVH!

Appointments are drop off and meet at the car outside. Doctors and nurses will come out to discuss your pets happenings and bring needs if necessary. It is very safe this way. Also, they and ask the other vets have gotten very busy, so take that into account.

As a first time puppy owner, I couldn't be more grateful to Dr. Meadows and the Chanticleer team. Our girl has had several health challenges in her 6 months of life. Everyone at the clinic has been kind and helpful. Dr. Meadows has gone above and to care for our pup and to communicate with me. When Molly got a foxtail in her ear they knew instantly why she was shaking her head and quickly pulled the foxtail out of her ear canal just before it reached her eardrum, which could have been fatal. They are always compassionate and professional and very available. Molly and I count on them!

Chanticleer Veterinary Hospital took amazing care of our dog Ryley... who sniffed in a foxtail! He is a 20 lb. dachshund/King Charles mix with no prior foxtail issues -- so the entire experience was new for us.
