Yesterday I had a very nice experience at Adobe animal hospital visiting Lauren and Dr. Topper. The facility was very clean and quiet. The service was excellent and i was overall very happy with the experience. Will return, just hope not too often. Good kitty kat..

We adopted our senior gentleman Jack a year ago. Dr. Bannernan and the staff has been so helpful via the initial visit and some health issues during covid. Would highly recommend

I changed to Adobe hospital about 1 year ago. I moved from my other vet because when I went in with either my dog or cats they always recommended multiple multiple tests. At Adobe I have felt that they only recommend what test they need to do and let me know that there might be more needed in the future. I am very happy I found Adobe

Dr. Bannerman and Taylor are amazing. They know their profession, are warm and caring , and generous with their time. My dog loves them and so do I!

First visit for my 8 year old dog And during covid I was worried he'd not do well in a strange new office but tech came to car and patiently got him out and inside with no problem. They said 20 min and it was 20 min. Ear infection treated and lump checked and back in car. Professional, safe and friendly service . Found our new vet.

We've been going to Adobe since our dog was 6 weeks old. The staff and vets are caring, professional, kind, and extremely competent. They take excellent care of him, and go above and beyond in terms of customer service. I highly recommend Adobe.

Dr. Kessinger has been our large animal bet for 43 years now. He is the best you could ever hope to meet in your life time. I moved to el dorado hills for 6 years and my horses health was a tremendous worry for me . I had heard Dr K had retired and was heart broken but when I moved back home he was back in business and I can't tell you how many times he has saved our horses fixed then and reassured us when they couldn't be. I feel he is a member of my family so don't hesitate to use this vet for large and small. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for us !

High pressure sales, jack up the bill, push for overnight, IV and pain meds

Well it's sure not easy to find a outstanding Vet hospital these days. My boy Beta kitty had a castration done..???? From calling in to dropping off to picking up scheduling. These guys 120%... Thank you.. Beta recovered very well.. thank you for taking care of my boy..Thanks for the outstanding service. Paid a lot. But my baby I know was taking care of. These days that's priceless, knowing that this company took that 1 extra step to make sure my family member was taking care of.

I have been taking my dog to Adobe Animal Hospital for many years. She is an older girl now, and has many issues that make her a bit frailer than in years past. Dr. Topper and the entire staff have always been completely thoughtful. It is easy to get in at a moments' notice. The offices are extremely clean and good smelling, and it is always a good experience.

Great vet. Took our last dog to 4 other vets in town and this is the only one who found out what was wrong.

I brought my Pomeranian in there in July, 95% certain she had a foxtail in her ear. I let the hospital staff know that they could sedate her and that I had plucked a bunch of foxtails out of her a few days prior. She had been shaking her ear since. They examined her, ear cytology and said it was only an ear infection and sent her home on oral and aural (ear) antibiotics. They did not sedate her like I had asked. (I have 25 years experience working emergency and ICU at a veterinary hospital over the hill.) I gave her the antibiotics, but when I massaged the baytril optic into her ear canal, she screamed. I stopped doing this and during the recheck appointment, let them know again that she wasn’t any better. She seemed to be worse. I asked them again to please sedate her. This time they did and like and behold, they pulled the foxtail out of her ear. If only they had done this from the start. I’m giving them two stars because they recommended I go to Animal Hospital of Soquel for some dental work for my dog. Animal Hospital of Soquel rocks! Thank you for recommending this awesome hospital.

The entire veterinary staff are so wonderful. They are knowledgeable and truly care about the animals and their humans. We have been taking our cats there for 18 years. Love them!

All the staff are friendly and helpful. After waiting for a huge amount of time at another vet office, I appreciate that they are always on time and don’t leave you waiting in a room for ages! Dr. Bannerman always includes us in care decisions for our dogs, but is fair and thorough in her approach.

This vets office is amazing, we took our new puppy to be checked out and received a wealth of information along with a plan to keep her healthy and happy for the rest of her life. Thank you to all the members of the Adobe team!!

Procedures radically changed for Coroavirus safety.

I have been taking my dogs and cats here for years. The staff is excellent! Very friendly and caring to both the pets and owners. The best thing is DR. BANNERMAN!!! She's extremely talented and knowledgeable. Melissa is a huge asset to the practice too! A little over 4 years ago I got a new Husky puppy. I took her in to see Dr. Bannerman the day after I got her and Dr. B diagnosed her with Parvo. My heart sank and my eyes teared... Thank goodness for Dr. B, my Husky is now 4 years+, and perfectly healthy. I would and do recommend this Vet to everyone. Thanks

MKing it work through covid

I stopped to buy a flea collar for my cat, and appreciated the changes made to the lobby and office to maintain safe social distance while being served.

Updated the original review to be what we think is a bit more fair based on further thought and the owner's reply: This vet wasn't as personable as our previous vets. We just moved to the area and went here based off of a recommendation but I think we'll look for another vet as a home base. In general they handled our concerns well and the veterinarian took her time in talking to us about our options with our cat. However, communication via email is very slow and difficult and if and when you do get a reply, it's short and nameless. The vet tech that took our cat back for tests didn't try to get acquainted with our cat at all, she just grabbed him and brought him into the office. We also overheard staff joking about the crazy people with their cat on a leash - I'm sure it was meant in good fun, but it added to the general feeling that this wasn't the place for us. Overall I think they are a decent vet but if you're looking for somewhere you can feel like you're part of the family, we don't think this is it.
