This place will charge you for tests you never needed in the first place. Lied to us over the phone saying they provided the service we needed. Ms. Poulsen lied to us. Our friends told us to stay away from this place. We should have listened. To anyone reading this, don't trust what they tell you over the phone. Bait n switch

My 17 year old shin tzu was having severe health gait issues. After a thorough examination the vet, Dr A. Munoz, diagnosed that the problem stems from swollen heart tissue pressing on the dogs spine. She prescribed heart and pain medication. Today my dog is running around like a young pup.

My dog had been gagging and coughing for few days and I could not find any urgent care nearby. My regular vet also recommended me some places in the valley. But Valencia Vet was available and took me in like 5 minutes to check out her gagging. My dog turned out ok but it feels so much better now that I had a friendly and professional staff take a look for any concerns. Friendly staff, quick response and reservation, great professional doctor, Dr. Hernandez. Overall, I am very happy Valencia Vet Center is in Santa Clarita for urgent cares.

This is one of the worst Veterinary hospitals out there. There staff is rude they really don't care about your pets they just want to run up the bills and suggest more and more meaningless test. The people at the front desk couldn't be ruder if they tried. They used to have a GREAT vet named Dr. Righetti, once she left the place it became just a money grabbing group of phonies who don't care one bit about your pet. Third world countries treat their animals better than this place. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT YOU PET TREATED POORLY OR DIE. There are so many others in Santa Clarita that are better. They deserve ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing staff and doctor. My dog was showing signs of an back injury and with it being so close to labor day weekend places all over were booked solid. They were available and took us in immediately in the morning. Was given a courtesy call prior to appt as well to ensure I was coming and aware of paperwork. From moment walking in to the great staff there I was comfortable I brought my dog to the right place. This place cares and it shows! If you love your pet and want top notch service...come here. Thank you again and I hope with the prognosis and medication my dog will be back to his old self.

Dr. Lipari saved my cat’s life. My cat Selena was vomiting almost daily for a month and despite visiting multiple vets in Newhall, they never gave her any meds or a diagnosis. Dr. Lipari gave my senior cat the care she needs and is now healthy and happy. Thank you for being transparent in the prices of your services and being attentive to the root cause of Selena’s medical condition.

I had a seven year old Australian Shepard. Australian Shepard’s are unable to take some medications because they result in epilepsy, or other side effects that can cause death. We took my dog in for a constipation and the vet gave him the wrong medication, resulting in him having 20+ seizures. He was unable to hear, see, or move. It’s irresponsible that the vet gave him the medication when it’s their job to know that he couldn’t take it. It was heartbreaking having a seven year old, perfectly healthy dog pass away. I will never return to this vet and I urge no one else to. There mistake cost my dog his life.

Needed urgent care for our kitty on a weekend and they were the only one who managed to squeeze us in. Friendly staff and doctor was very forthcoming about care needed and didn’t try to push anything unnecessary even though they weren’t our regular vet. Very clean, excellent COVID precautions. Big thank you to Joe for the outstanding customer service.

I'm glad to hear that this vet has endured both a owner and management change since I went here in October 2019. During my last visit (under different ownership), I had a very traumatizing experience with my kitten who passed soon after taking him. That experience left a bad taste in my mouth and made me scared for other owners who may have brought their pets as well. Today, Joseph the Hospital Manager messaged me and informed me of the owner changed and expressed compassion and care for the experience I had in the past with the previous owners. I really appreciated him reaching out and I now feel ready to return to this facility if need be. Thank you Joseph and the new VVC staff, I hope your team is able to change the perception of a place that at one point brought lots of owners grief.

The kids working the phones are clowns. You can't get past them, to reach actual medical care. #losers

Taline is great got me in the same day I requested my dog needed to be seen. Veterinarian Harris is very proactive told me what needed to be done, preventive medicine advices. Bonnie and Page were very helpful. Unlike some Veterinarian offices that couldn't see my best friend until next week, Taline was good at fitting me in right away. If you have an emergency go to Valencia Veterinary.

The vet refused to come out, they would not allow one person to accompany our dog, and they said they would call, when the determined the problem.

I never write reviews but honestly I’m offended at how much they tried to charge me to neuter my cat. $633 in addition to the required $65 ‘pre-opp’ exam, so $700. Yeah $700 to neuter a cat! WHO charges that?! They tried offering me ‘20% off’ after I asked why it was so outrageously expensive, but the new total was $554 which isn’t 20%, it’s 12.5% lol but regardless that’s still an absurd 4x more expensive than normal.

My friends dog was struggling for life after she got crushed by giant wooden boards, they depended on Valencia Veterinary Center and they wouldn't let my friends family in to save there dog, if they would have let her in then she would have lived but now they will never get the chance to see there precious dog and because they wouldn't open the doors to save there dog

I was charged an office visit, for literally just to visit, the vet was really rude and sounded condescending. He seems as he didn’t want to deal with Latinos and gave me a rough super expensive quote. My dog has a lipoma and he saw it from far and charged me for an exam. His words “is a big massive ball” $65 dls exam” NEVER AGAIN

Great place. Friendly and knowledgeable. Great service. Unfortunately we had to put down our 13 year old Golden Retriever at 12 midnight. It was heart breaking. Valencia Veterinary provided compassionate service and gave us as much time as we needed to say good by to our Mr. Jake. We still go there for all our veterinary needs.

Last summer, this caring crew saved our dog’s life, after a rattlesnake bit our boy in the neck. They were professional, dedicated, and considerate. They understood our emotions and our dog’s trauma, and pulled us all through. And now we’re happy to count on the team at VVC for ear cleaning and check ups! You can tell they love animals, care about people, and know what they’re doing!

We had a last minute appointment for our fur baby. And were able to fit us in (cancelation), from the START staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. During the visit they kept in CONSTANT contact with us and did not proceed with any treatments or procedures without calling us first. This relieved daddy lol as he was worried he could not be in there with her. Super informative during the whole appointment and overall a great experience. So thankful they were able to help our baby and now she can rest and be pain free and we are relieved we know what's wrong with her!

Our do cut herself really bad last week and they couldn’t see her. We had to drive 40 minutes away for surgery. And when we called them today they could t remove the drain. We found out the vet had changed ownership and they did t have enough doctors or staff. Very unhappy. Having to find a new vet after 20 years.
