I tried calling to make an appointment and the woman who answered was incredibly rude picking up the phone. She was bothered when I tried to schedule an appointment, so I just said, “never mind, I will take my business elsewhere”.

I went to these groomers because their website looked great and their van looked professional, but my experience went south after that. I've been to many groomers in the past and recently went out shopping for a groomer in the Santa Clarita Valley since my current groomers are closed due to COVID-19. First off the driver was running late, although she did let me know 7 minutes prior to the appointment time. She ended up arriving 10 minutes past the scheduled time. As soon as she arrived I directed her to a spot and gave her a picture of my dog so she would know how short to cut my dog's hair. I sent her the picture via text and she proceeded to say, "sorry I'm so out of it and not good with phone's lately". This statement at the time didn't bother me, but after the next events to come, it did. From there she let me know it would be 1-1.5 hours to finish my pet. 17 minutes into the grooming, she called me and told me she could not cut my dogs stomach because he would not stand on his legs and he would lay down on his stomach. My dog is a 15 pound small maltese/yorkshire-terrier mix. I asked if they had a mechanism or harness to hold him in the upright position, being unfamiliar with the dog grooming business and she said they had something but it wouldn't work for him. I was shocked that a dog groomer would not have this capability and especially if no other groomer in the past I've taken him to has ever had this problem. I wanted my dog to get his hair cut and was willing to offer to hold him up while she cut his hair. She agreed and I held my dog up while she cut his hair on his stomach. As my arms were getting tired, she asked me how short I wanted his hair and I told her, "as short as the picture I gave you". She then paused and said oh that would need another clipper size. She then proceeded to tell me that she didn't have that clipper size because it was elsewhere with someone else. At this point after I was being nice, I told her that I did not want to continue with her cutting my dog's hair because she is unprofessional and ill prepared to finish the job. I'm not sure if Makenzie had a license or any professional experience, but Top Dog is clearly sending out groomers that cannot perform their duties and vans that apparently do not have the proper tools to handle a basic grooming. After that fact, it seemed that she did not want to cut my dog's hair from the start after she realized that my dog did not want to stand up. I ended up taking my dog as I did not feel comfortable leaving him with her after so many things went wrong in such a small sample size. I called the main office to discuss my frustration and my disappointment. I do not recommend these groomers and now I'm left with an uneven-haired dog now searching for another groomer.

I enjoyed the process, the groomer was quick and did a great job. even doh it was last minute they pushed to come thru and have my dog cleaned. Thank you!

These lovely ladies are the real deal. Our 135 pound German Sheperd, Charlie (pictured below) has AWFUL separation anxiety and normally gives groomers a rough time. But Top Dog Mobile Grooming handled him with grace and good humor. He came out super clean and super happy. We plan to stick with Top Dog and I sincerely hope you will too. They are super punctual, super dedicated, and true dog lovers who know how to handle big and small dogs alike!

They did a wonderful job getting the our dogs all cleaned up and looking great! Would highly recommend!

I don’t usually post reviews, but my dogs are my babies. Top Dog was easy to get ahold of, they actually returned my call and showed up as promised. My babies were returned to me show perfect and were not stressed out. This mother/daughter team is simply awesome.

Only tried once but my dog got cut badly. Wasn't happy
