The doctor and staff assisted with getting a referral to a neurologist in a time of need. Durning holiday weekend. Thank you Santa Clarita Animal Hospital.

I am so thankful to this Animal Hospital! They were able to get my pup in same day and scheduled for surgery the same week! He has been in pain for the past three days and am so thankful that we are getting it taken care of!

I've taken both my cat and dog here. I've also had my dad take his dog here. I've been trying to get my dog in for a few days now, left a few messages.. Today I finally got a hold of someone and she hung up on me? I called back and it went to voice mail. Looks like I'll be calling elsewhere. Only reason I kept returning was the familiarity but the care was miniscule anyways. Oh well.

I have entrusted the health of my dogs under your care since 1996. This is sufficient testament that you are doing a great job!

I'm leaving 3 stars, two were removed for a Friday issue. When I first brought my cats here, they did very well Dr Bones and Chang were very gentle. One of my cats had its teeth done after a painful 3 years and is now a very happy guy! Ive been happy considering they are walking distance from where I live. Everything changed on Friday 9/24/2021 I made a decision that something wasn't right and perhaps I waited too long but my other cat had not had a bowel movement in 5 days. I researched and found it to be or could be a very serious thing. He is also 13 years old...actually common sense told me that it was something bad. So I called SCAH early in the morning that I should bring my cat in....He is my family! I was in a bit of a panic but I was told they were booked and if I did come in it would be $150 emergency charge...Not that I have money thanks to Covid but did I have a choice? The person that answered said she will have to check with her office manager to see if they can fit me in and that she will call me back??? No one called me back and I waited til about noon before finding another Vet, but I didn't go to a different one until Saturday...Luckily they were open and willing to take my cat in urgently even though they were busy as well. I think Driving my Cat there got him car sick as usual but it was enough to make him have a bowel movement and vomit. The doctor checked him out gave him some fluids and now...he is back to his playful normal self... For SCAH, Priority should be given to those who live within the same neighborhood, not from those from Eagle rock or other just because they have an infected cut on their pets paw....Just saying. A 5 day old non bowel movement Is more serious I would think. I am disappointed considering this Vet is so close to home. I've already dished out thousands for pet care but just sad that I think I will stick with the new Vet hospital I have found...Not close but will do.

I was so happy to be able to have my sick doggie seen! My pet's usual Vet couldn't see him for 2 weeks, another Vet recommended to me was not taking any more patients! Finally, my daughter recommended me Santa Clarity Animal Hospital! I was pleased!!

Unprofessional. The front desk and/or managers make mistakes and do not help fix the problem they created. Also, there are other places you can take your fur babies to that will go out of their way to find out what is wrong with your dogs. This place will just give you pain meds for your pets and not try to find the root problem so your pets get worse and you end up spending double the cost when you need to take them to other animal hospitals. On top of that, this place overcharges and if you do come here, make sure you keep your receipt because they might accuse you of not paying and insist you need to write them a check weeks later even though you did in fact already pay for their overpriced services the day of the appointment. If you need a new place to take your fur babies, there is a great animal center on Mcbean Pkwy that actually helped my dog.

We took our kitty to Santa Clarita Animal Hospital because he was so sick and we didn't know what was wrong with him. It turns out he was really sick and needed to be put down. The Dr. there was so kind so us. She explained everything so we could understand exactly what we were dealing with and gave us all the time we needed to decide what we should do for him. They were so compassionate and kind. Most of all they were good to our kitty and treated him with care and concern. We went to Santa Clarita Animal Hospital because we heard the prices were good (which they are) but we will stay with Santa Clarita Animal Hospital because of the way they treated us and took such good care of our poor kitty.

Very disappointed with this vet, I would not recommend taking your animal here. My husband took my cat to SCAH yesterday after a couple days of constant sneezing. There was no temperature taken, no real exam done, just a quick assessment that he has allergies. The overwhelming goal was to give him vaccinations and do blood-work for non related issues, even though the paperwork shown them clearly stated he was good for the vaccines they pushed. Allergy pills were prescribed, which did nothing to help. Fast forward a day later and he was not eating, drinking and very lethargic. Called numerous times to talk to the doctor about the situation and perhaps get an antibiotic. Was told they would reach out to the Vet and get right back to us. Waited about 6 hours and a few more calls and nothing still. Decided to take him to Little Paws Dog and Cat Hospital in Canyon Country. Within minutes they got him in, immediately took his temp, it was 105, gave him fluids, an antibiotic shot, an anti inflammation med and we were on our way. Very bizarre experience, I know the Vet industry is stretched right now but wow.

Dr. Chang is very kind and compassionate and listens to all my concerns, I rather pay a little bit more and have the quality care for my pets that I receive here. The front desk personnel is also very kind and helpful not to mention patient with us worried pet parents and our million questions. Be kind to your vet staff, they are trying their hardest in these strange times.

Services, under the current COVID-19 protocols, are as smooth as possible. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We’ve been bringing our furry children here for several years now and we would not consider going to another doctor. We are grateful for Dr. Chang.

I have been bringing my dog here for about a year now. Love Dr Chang. For the most part it has worked out pretty well. However. I have to say this now- that the restrictions for covid (not being able to accompany my pet) is starting to upset me on an extreme level. I think it’s become the new norm and they are not treating this situation with the same care compared to when the pandemic started. My dog has separation anxiety badly. She is extremely terrified also of being kenneled. It was never mentioned to me once that that is what they do to my dog when she is brought in to await care. No preparation for me at all. The vet assistant that brought her back out to me today said “she was crazy”, (my dog is very sweet) and tried to scratch her way out of the kennel. You guys kenneled her?!?! My heart just SANK. I cried all the way home knowing how terrified she must have been. She was shaking and wouldn’t eat. I think that if people can go eat at a restaurant right now, go to the mall etc...people should be able to accompany their pets at the vet NOW. Wear a mask, disinfect! Offer sanitizer! I don’t even want to touch base on what happened with my cats visit on her own earlier this year. It’s a controlled environment already. Let us come back in with our pets.

I had asked the vet there not to give injections to my pets hip area where she had surgery. They ignored this request and made my dog lame and then refused to treat my dog that they injured! They sent me all my pets records and said I was no longer welcome here all because I wanted what was best for my dog. I literally sat in there place of business until they gave me medicine for my dog and kept telling me they would not help me until I said I was not leaving until I got the medicine!

I had an awful experience with putting my dog down and this vet and their techs were incredibly supportive and gave my family and I the time we needed to say goodbye and gave us the room as long as we needed and even sent sympathy cards with poems/my dogs paw prints. I will never forget that. NEVER. Thank you! Truly one of the most awful days and you made it better.

I would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Tran for listening to all of my pet's symptoms and making her best possible diagnosis. I understand it wasn't possible to correctly diagnose my pet without an ultrasound and her recommendations for confirmation of pyometra diagnosis were very on point. To all the staff who took such good care of Cuchara and were so nice to her. She gets scared and anxious very easily and you made it less stressful of an experience for her and for patiently responding to every single one of my questions several times, thank you! Dr Bones thank you SO MUCH for giving Cuchara immediate attention and care. I know you were supposed to leave at 3 pm and yet you immediately found a way to properly diagnose her through the ultrasound and gave her the best and speediest care. This is Cuchara's first and hopefully last surgery and we owe you all her health. I will for sure recommend your clinic every chance I get.

Definitely will not be bringing my cat back here. I wasn't able to go in with her due to Covid restrictions so I understand providing/receiving care is a little more difficult these days but on the phone the doctor was very condescending to me, talking down to me like a child and not letting me get a word or question in. I did not feel the vet took my concerns seriously, they were not even noted in the records nor addressed in conversation, (or they were lost in a ridiculous game of telephone trying to remotely communicate between me in the parking lot and the front desk staff, vet techs, and doctor inside.) After hundreds of dollars in tests there was still no diagnosis and she wanted to run more tests and xrays running up the bill. I was very uncomfortable with her wanting to prescribe multiple medications without knowing what was wrong with my cat. I called around to other vets in the SCV area afterwards and this place is overpriced (by more than $100 for the same lab tests,) especially considering the quality of care offered to me.

Dr. Tran and all the nurses/technicians were amazing and comforting. Our Boston Terrier has received the best care. It was easy to make an appointment, even with the Safer at Home order. I was also able to easily reach Dr. Tran by phone. Our girl is resting easy now.

The staff and doctor were very kind and good with my dog , they took the time to explain everything unlike the others we had been to and their price was very reasonable, they also have a nice kennel area.

Santa Clarita Animal Hospital is the Only place we take our Furbabies. They have done An Extraordinary job of making everyone feel safe during this difficult period in history. Everything is Clean and I can't begin to say how attentive and caring the Entire Staff is.

They are always great with my dog and have skilled staff that have kept my pup living a long life so far. I've (unfortunately) had emergency visits there, as well as routine check ups, and surgeries to remove growths. They've always done a great job and helped me feel less nervous knowing my dog is getting great care. Though my dog gets a little nervous at the vet the staff always gets her to wag!

My husband and I have been bringing our pets here for years and they offer wonderful pricing and quality care from beginning to end. This is the best office in SCV hands down.
