The Cat House Hotel Santa Barbara, California

Our girl Amelia spent a week at the Hotel and we just picked her up this afternoon. Dropping her off, I felt relaxed with no worries! Many places for her to climb, hide, relax etc. A cats thought of vacation. & the employees were super sweet. Thanks girls! Amelia will be returning :)

We boarded my cat here for about a week and it was amazing! The staff was super friendly and patient and answered all my questions (and there were a lot). My little guy was playing with the other cats a LOT and the staff noticed he was extra hungry and contacted me to see if they could charge me for a few extra cans for him. It was so reassuring to know that they pay such close attention and care enough to reach out. It’s been a few days since he’s been home and he’s very clearly so much more relaxed and happy, I can tell he loved his stay here and had a ton of fun. I will absolutely be boarding him here in the future and cannot recommend this place enough!

Such a cute warm space, caring and professional staff, fun amenities for the cats, although ours apparently were too shy to get out and climb and socialize. Recommended!

Reasonably nice place for a reasonable price. They pay close attention to the cats and care well for them.

I was SO nervous leaving my two cats Leo and Louie for the first time at a boarding place. Malone was so incredibly sweet, and made me feel at ease right away! She was so kind and explained everything to me and make sure to take down every bit of information about my kitties! She let me hug them goodbye and never once rushed me out the door and let me take my time until I felt comfortable leaving! Since I’ve left them I’ve called and Malone was more than happy to tell me how they’re doing and is just so sweet and wonderful! She definitely made this experience that much better and I would recommend this place so anyone looking for a safe, reliable and fun place to leave your fur babies!

If I were a cat this is the kind of place I would love to stay at. There's so much opportunity to explore the entire facility and so many comfy spots to lay and play in. Even if I were the most anti-social of cats I would still stay here, preferring a room in the back, away from the noise but still close to the action. Also, Malone rocks - she's the best cat sitter.

Hands down the best place you can leave your cat! My cat has really bad separation anxiety from me, and sometimes even I feel separation anxiety from her! We do everything together and I was very nervous to leave her with people I have never met during my trip. Since my cat is so anxious, it took hours to get her in a carrier. We originally got her in an old box but she broke through and ran under the patio in the backyard. I spent hours trying to catch her, and when I called the hotel to give updates they were extremely understanding and patient. I finally get her in a new carrier and take her to the cat house. I walk into the hotel and I am greeted very nicely by one of the care takers, made me feel very welcome! I’ll admit I did get teary eyed leaving her there because I would miss her. But it brought great comfort when the lady that works there showed me around, everything is so clean and cat friendly! Looked like a cat heaven! During my trip I would text and ask how she was doing and I got these super kind replies, she was doing great! When I came back to pick her up today she was up high sleeping in a cubby. I called for her and she poked her head out, and she looked so comfortable. A worker took her down and helped me out her in the carrier. I then got home and I could tell she had gained so much confidence in herself, she didn’t seem anxious at all! Keep in mind, she was terrified of everything besides me before her stay. Not only did she get amazing care during my trip, she also gained so much confidence. This makes me so happy! Next time she needs to be watched, I will definitely take her to the cat house hotel. 1000000/10 would recommend!

Unbelievable attention to details and amazing staff

I feel very confident in the care and attention my cats receive at The Cat House Hotel. Attentive, detail oriented staff with an unwavering true love for cats. The also do a good cat bath and nail trim! I was impressed to learn about their disaster preparedness plan in the event they need to evacuate the cats.

Seriously the only place to leave your car and know they’re being treated right. The cats are allowed plenty of time to roam around and have fun, and are constantly checked in on by a highly trained staff. No other place can even come close.

Great place, my cat loves it, I love it. Tad expensive but definitely getting what you pay for and some.

So lucky to have a place like this in SB. We take our feline friends here everytime we go out of town. Friendly staff, awesome place for our cats to hang out when we're gone.

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately my rescue kitty is nervous when there and either stays in her condo or hides in the tightest spot possible. The staff is patient with her and give her as much love as she allows.

What a wonderful and loving facility to board my cats. Whether it's a week or a month, the staff knows how to make me feel at ease. It's a huge environment that is a kitty's dream! Even if your cats are anti-social like mine, even they come out to play!

For years, we've been boarding our cat there. It's a complex situation for us, with medication and specific instructions but the Cat House Hotel staff always makes me feel as if they are on top of the situation. My cat loves it there and they seem to love our cat. I couldn't recommend a better place anywhere. They are organized, intelligent and kind. What a winning combination! I am grateful to have a place in SB that is so stellar.

Boarded my cats here for 3 months. The staff is outstanding as is the facility. The staff took my cats to my vet and followed up with medications. I received updates by phone just to let me know how my cats were doing. A truly outstanding facility and outstanding people. Cats are allowed to roam freely in their environment, and there are toys and climbing trees and snuggle places for them, as well as a secure outdoor area. Truly a wonderful place!
