I had to fight hard for my return they were trying to give me a gift card instead of my hard earned money back. I will never shop at a petco again.

It was my first time taking a pet of my own to a vet and I trusted google reviews to come here and was not disappointed! The folks here at thrive were so kind to both my cat and myself, and answered all of my questions without making me feel stupid or silly for asking them. They helped me come up with a great plan to get my cats caught up on their vaccines that is affordable and at a good rate to keep them healthy and I feel reassured knowing that there’s such a great veterinarian practice by us!

This was our first visit to Thrive Vet Care. My dog, Max, was having arthritic pain and needed to get another prescription, and we also wanted to determine the best course of action for some teeth cleaning. The entire visit was such a calming visit for both of us. Max was made very comfortable, and they provided a cozy bathmat for him to sit on for the visit, instead of the cold metal. They also hung a little chalkboard with his name on it on the door. These touches, while quite simple, are very nice and appreciated. The overall care of the doctor and his team was very caring and supportive both during the visit and in the follow-up call. The only downside one might experience is in being able to immediately obtain the medicines. The pharmacy is not on-site, but the mail order delivery is very quick, and we received the prescriptions with door service a full day earlier than anticipated. We highly recommend Thrive Vet Care for its affordability and the value of the services provided! Thanks so much! 4 paws!!

Took my dog here for an ear infection and I couldn't be more happy with the team there! They were very accommodating, affordable, fast, and caring. Ingrid was best, she cared for my baby like her own. I will be returning and recommending to others!

Unnecessary services each time. A physical is NOT needed each visit. Just once a year. You shouldn't force that onto your customers.

I brought my dog here after he started feeling sick. We came a little early for his appt and was conveniently able to charge my car in the parking lot and do some shopping with him at Petco. Once our appt time came around we were assisted promptly by the tech and waited for his test result. The doctor took her time with us and listened to our concerns and answered any questions we had. One of his test results was ready within 10 minutes and the other we had to wait for the next day, which we received through text (very convenient). While they don't offer payment plans, their billing specialist was incredibly kind and understanding and willing to work with us and our budget. We left with medicine in hand and happy to say our dog was feeling much better 2 days later. Thank you so much to everyone at Thrive Santa Ana!

I came shopping in person and asked the cashier for a price override. The cashier then called his shorter lady manager over to have it done and because she felt that the price of 6.99 to 1.99 was too much she really told me to order it for free pickup in store and to come back to pick up the 2 bags if treats. So i said fine, purchased the rest of my items along with 5 large cricket s (that i was going to pick up with my 2 treats that she didnt override). Time passes and i come back for my treat's amd the cricket were not ready! Terrible professionalism and not reliable to have things ready even after sending me off only to RE pick up

I took my Dads dog Hachiko twice already and they helped his mass infection heal and also they are testing it. Hachi struggles with severe anxiety and they were so patient and gentle with him. Medical care for pets is expensive in general but they really walk me down and give me options. Nothing is forced. We will do what we can to help hachi get better. I’m so glad I saw a lot less anxiety from hachi this time.

I took my Dads dog today after my sisters feared about this mass he had growing on his back. I also went to get some sedatives since 4th of July is coming and the dog has extreme anxiety. They were really nice and kind. They listened to what I had to say and were very kind to Hachi. They cleaned him but and gave him some antibiotics. He actually relaxed after a while and even ate the treat that the Vet had given him. The Vet Tech was super kind as well. She explained everything to me step by step. Totally appreciated it and definitely going to bring my dogs here for their check ups. I only spend $146 on the whole thing. Which in my opinion is very cheap compared to what I would be paying at other vets.

Because of the pandemic situation we are in it was hard to get a Vet to look at our dog plus they were super busy that day. As far as prices they were a little steep. Front desk was very friendly.

Today, January 24th at 11AM my pet Gia had an appointment with the Thrive vet. The vet was good with explaining Gia’s improved condition following a slipped disc in her neck. Unfortunately, the receptionist during this time must receive a negative review for her attitude towards people of color. Due to COVID, you must call to announce you have arrived and wait for the handoff either outside the front door of the Thrive office or behind the roped off Thrive entrance inside the Petco store. There is a sign plainly for all to see...Do Not Enter. A white couple squeezed passed the roped area and proceeded to wander and sit inside the restricted area while myself and another customer (Latina) waited in the proper area. Since going to Thrive during COVID, I’ve NEVER seen a customer beyond the roped area. I asked the receptionist why were they allowed...two people...allowed to walk, wander, sit and wait for her in the area which is designated DO NOT ENTER...while we are expected to wait and not enter the inner area. Her reply, as expected was full of excuses. Never once did she apologize for the misunderstanding...never once did she say she was sorry “we” felt slighted by her actions. She seemed emphatic that she was right. They were allowed because she asked them to come into that area. As a customer, we are due respect, kindness, and thank you for patronizing your store. I will not return to the Santa Ana Thrive. I will return to patronize the Thrive Irvine vet (Dr Ock) and their respectful and courteous staff. I didn’t get the receptionist or assistant name but she worked on January 24th at 11am.

Definitely bring your pets here! They have taken such great care of my pets when I bring them! Everyone that works here is so nice, and I love it that they take care of your pet in a timely manner.

Dr Matsuo is by far the best vet I have had in 35 years as an animal owner. You'll be lucky if you get her as your pets doctor.

First time at Thrive and they treated me so well! Very informative, efficient, professional and polite staff. I was in and out in a timely manner and the price is very affordable. I look forward to coming back to this location with my kitten!

This location was a great experience from start to finish. Our dog Hubert can be anxious and loud at times and the team was so nice and gentle with him. Dr. Camille was great by listening to everything we had to say, walk us through exactly what they were going to do and listened to our concerns. From start to finish I felt that my dog was in good hands and would definitely recommend this vet for anyone's pet.

Such a good place. I have 4 dogs and Ive taken them all to different vets by far this was actually the best one. I was worried about dropping off my dog and not being in the room but after talking to the veterinarian on the phone and the receptionist you can genuinely tell they care about your pet and any concerns you have. They honestly were super friendly and nice and they were super nice to my dog he came out of there like a happy camper. The receptionist also had such a good attitude and was very attentive about everything. I would rate this place a 10 star! The prices were also affordable that was my main concern so I guess you can say my dog and me both walked out as happy campers !!

Fixed up my kitties paw after she injured her back paws claw. She had a minor infection and she has been doing well since they treated her. With covid it was over the phone after she was checked in. They were all nice and really helped ease my stress.

Dr Coffey and her team are amazing. I had to put my 15-year-old beagle to sleep over two weeks ago and it was the best experience I've ever had in putting one of my animals to sleep. They were kind and caring and considerate and brought out a blanket for my dog to lay on. They gave me some hair shavings to go home with the same day. And then a few weeks after I received a handwritten card from the team telling me how sorry they were for my loss. It was also amazing to be able to pick up his ashes and find a paw print in ink and plaster.. I felt good leaving my baby in their care when I left. I knew they would treat him kindly. A truly amazing experience that I will be sharing with my friends and family and all of you on Google. I've never had an all-female vet team when I've had to put down one of my animals and it makes a big difference. I cannot Thank you enough for making it easier for me. I will never forget you guys.
