Good service if you need to neuter a cat it has to have the vaccinations up to date they have a kitty package with vaccinations for 420

This vet saved my dog twice and his prices are more affordable respect other places

The veterinarians here care about your pets. We go here to get my pets vaccinations and if they are sick. The prices are not high. I can count on them to take care of my pet

The Dr. Is amazing, he is very effective, nice, and shows that he truly loves and cares for your pet. I always take my dog with this vet. My chihuahua is 3lbs and 7 years old, she had tumors on her belly and the Dr. put her down for surgery and thankfully everything went amazing. Their staff members are very nice and efficient.

My dog have a cancerous tumor, and I've been looking for the Vet to have surgery since I am not happy with my vet.. Visit to the Alton Main Animal Hospital today for surgery was awesome. I was very satisfied with the result. I really like Dr. Sim and his staff!! Dr. Sim is very kind, friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning again in the future!! Highly recommend this veterinary clinic!!!

Doctor Shim and his staff are great! I trust them and have brought hundreds of dogs and cats here from rescue as well as my own beloved pets. I drive all the way from North OC because they’re that good.

Dr Shim and team are the best

This is a long overdue review for Alton Main AH. I began coming here in 2007 when I adopted an APBT. Within a few weeks Hera contracted Parvo virus. The vet explained to me what the road ahead would look like. From that point on, this animal hospital was my go for my dogs needs. She passed away in 2015 and they assisted me with cremation. Do not hesitate to visit them if you have any pet needs.

Straight forward and agreed to aggressive antibiotics instead of trying amoxicillin again and again like another kept doing & over charging for.

I had an appointment at 9:00 a.m. I was sitting there at 10:00 a.m. still had not been seen I left

I took my dog Lucky here because he was vomiting all day. Dr. Shim took really good care of him and he recovered real quick! Every time I’m here I feel so welcomed and I can feel that they really care. I’m thankful that I was able to find this vet, and I would recommend this place to everyone I know! Thank you!

They are very kind and always try to fit me in wherever they can especially if I have an urgent request. I have been coming here for years now due to the stellar staff. They care about all animals not just your pet! I highly recommend this office.

This is by far the best vet I've been to in a long time!!! The vet was extremely knowledgeable, he even knew what my very rare tissue disease is (I thought my cat might have the cat form of it). He was extremely thorough but only did testing he thought was necessary. My huge Maine Coone cat I thought had some issues that would need testing, he said no testing was needed. This vet is also extremely low cost, the cheapest I have EVER seen! Only $19 for a 1st time appointment!!!!! Eventhough they are 30 minutes from my house and I hate listening to my cats howl the whole way there, I will def be going here from now on. I am very impressed with this office. Girls at front desk couldnt be more friendly as well.

Love this place. The everyone is so nice

This has always been my go to vet since I had bad experiences with other vets. They saved my dogs life when other vets just wanted to do unless test and they off the bat said no worries we know what this is and can remove it. We did find out that those lumps were cancer but she lives until she was 13 and I couldn't be more grateful.

I have not been to Alton Animal hospital YET, but plan to visit soon. I wanted to comment because i met a women in the park who praised the place. She used to have a kennel and has used Dr. Shim for many years . I am planning on opening an animal rescue and hope to use this place as one of my go to vets.

I have been referred by my friend who had brought his dog for years and I have been coming here with my cat for about five years now. Dr. Shim and the staff members are always friendly and take care of my cat thoroughly. Highly recommended!!

Staff is really great here, they are really busy right now though.
