Dr. Frye (and family) has aided in the health and well-being of our pets throughout various stages of life (a couple Labradors, numerous Chihuahuas, a Shiba Inu, plus a calico cat) for many many years. He's consistently reliable, extremely knowledgeable, straightforward, and nurturing. We trust him implicitly.

Dr Frye is great. He is thoughtful, patient, helps with all your questions, and takes good care of your animals. I moved almost an hour from here and still come here for our vet care cause he is just the best!

Dr. Frye, Diane and Hannah run an excellent animal clinic. Having 3 dogs, we are in often and they have helped my dogs heal from both simple, and not so simple circumstances. We are grateful!

BEST !!! Dr. Frederick is kind, considerate & caring. His gentle mannerism eases our felines. He helped when other doctors would not listen. He has reasonable rates that no one else could beat. Our neighbors now utilize his services due to the great care we received. Most of all he is simply a super nice guy and staff too!

Dr. Frye and his staff have a deep level of knowledge and compassion for their clients, both human and animal... They are always friendly and professional. They always remember my dog and her special needs and likes. I was grateful that West End works with Muttville Senior Dog Adoption Center to provide free surgery when I adopted my senior dog.

Had an appointment. Spent an hour in the waiting room. Initially started as a 1 star review because I was so mad for waiting. Moving to a 3 because the bad experience should not ruin the dr reputation. Dr. Fyre is a very caring professional. He was sincerely apologetic for my wait. He understood the time constraint I was in, and was still able to perform surgery for the previous dog. He may have pushed my appointment out, but he made sure the surgery for the previous dog was a success no matter how many attempts it was going to take.

This lively veterinarian office has a staff who always greet me (and my dog) kindly and respectfully. They provide thoughtful care and holistic options. They have partnered with San Francisco's Muttville Senior Dog Adoptions to provide needed surgeries for their adoptees. That means so much to me and my dog, who came from there. The staff has a bunch of happy dogs tumbling around behind them, and they always let me know if there are any discounts available on the special food and medicine needed for my mutt. I am always smiling when I visit West End.

Dr Frye is great. Always is thoughtful and talks to you about what is going on with your pet and how to think ahead and take preventive steps to help them live longer. Always enjoy seeing him.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Frye and his entire staff! Always feel welcomed like family. Their services are top notch. Am treated with same level of attention and care as with my kids' pediatrician. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Shortly after moving to San Rafael my little Isis got sick. I noticed this veterinary clinic within walking distance from our new apartment and I saw they had good reviews so I felt comfortable enough to try them out. I put my little girl in her pink kitty stroller and we went to see Dr Frye. Everyone at West End was very nice and even though Isis does not like to be handled/picked up....she actually allowed the vet assistant to get her out of the stroller. Isis was also very calm during her check up also. They were very gentle with Isis and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a good veterinary clinic.

We are so happy we found Dr. Frye. He is a compassionate Vet that is honest and trustworthy. We love doing businesses with him and his staff- all warm and friendly. We've been with him for 10-months now and drive from Mill Valley especially to see him because he has made a bond with our dog and us. Dr. Frye looks out for our dog and looks out for us as well; we had been to other vets that seem to look out for themselves and the animal at the owners expense. I was also pleased to find out our good friends have been taking their pets to Dr. Frye for 20+ years, he has a good reputation because he is in the business for the right reason, he's a family-centric, compassionate animal lover.

Awesome, awesome vet. I've taken my dog Spot here over 5 years now and I find it very reasonable, caring and compassionate. The best part is they offer pet insurance (no matter how old and how sick the dog is), and you get 50% off all services. Overall the best vet in Marin County, and I've been to almost all of them.

Would not go anywhere else. I drive across San Rafael Richmond Bridge to see him. He is very smart, has sixth sense re dogs and is a confident heartfelt man.
