Dr. Landman & Dr. Anderson are fantastic! The doctors and front office staff are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and just wonderful. They all have been amazing with my pug, Lucy, and dealt with a new mom of a pandemic puppy with sheer compassion. I HIGHLY recommend SAAH - you won’t be disappointed!

I went here in an emergency when my cat was at the end of his life. They stayed open to be with me on a Saturday evening. They were kind and caring, and gave us the time we needed. Now, I take my dog here and still receive fantastic treatment.

I've been coming to San Anselmo Animal Hospital since July 2017 and I can't speak highly enough about the veterinarians and staff who work there. The receptionists and the techs are friendly and helpful, and genuinely are interested in your pet's well being. My dog Daisy has gone in for quite a few things over the last year, ranging from small things like hives and runny eyes to larger ones like Pneumonia and separation anxiety. Dr. Baumsteiger has been Daisy's primary vet and has taken care of her time and time again, finding the answers to all of my problems and making the trip to the vet an enjoyable experience for me and my dog. 5 stars and keep up the great work! Also LPT: Get pet insurance, it is worth it!

My sister has always brought our dogs here for years now. On this occasion my mom and I brought in our pug to be seen. Vet doctor was very nice and answered all questions. The front desk staff had two woman working, one of them, an older woman, was kind of rude and didn't look like she was working as I saw her clicking around on the computer screen as if she was terribly bored. my mother asked a question and she responded rudely as if she were too busy to answer. The younger girl was very nice and their credit card processing system was down so she had to call it in. We didn't mind the wait but the next day my mom received a phone call from the older woman stating we had to give her our credit card information cause it didn't go through. Well, we checked online and it was pending but she insisted it didn't go through. It didn't show up in their batch report at the end of the day due to the machine being down and she was only interested in covering her ass. if she was paying attention and not blindly clicking on that computer she would have known her co worker had to get a manual phone authorization but you can't instill work ethic into people. We were Do u me charged and she told us after many calls to try and rectify the situation to call our credit card company. Yes, we were advised to fix this mistake we didn't make. This has left a bad taste in our mouths and probably will look around for another vet. it sucks that one person with poor customer service skills can ruin your experience when with a sick pet. Otherwise, friendly staff and takes great care of our pets.

I have been coming to the San Anselmo Animal Hospital for about 20 years. In that time, in addition to the excellent, amazing and top quality doctors there, I have been helped by many front desk people, all of whom have been very responsive, helpful, sensitive to whatever needs my animals have, reliable, loving and caring. Lizanne, in particular, has always gone out of her way to connect, follow up and follow through - she is all of those things that I have mentioned above and more. Even when things get hectic, she manages to keep it all together and positive. I figured that after 20 years of being served there, it's high time I give them a review and a particular shout out to one of my favorite people there! I highly reccommed this vet clinic to everyone!
