I love shopping here for our family dogs. They have everything and they are kindly enough to act like a local pet store. Kudos.

They couldn’t cut my dog’s nails and would only refund $10 of the $25. My dog is 10 lbs. very frustrating pet grooming experience.

They don’t answer their phone.

People are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. A little spendy... but healthy doesn't have price tags.

I neeeded assistance in obtaining a certain item and the staff was very helpful. I use Petco often and have always enjoyed my visits. They could use more cashiers though.

Lack of higher quality products for my dogs (products like Greenies are NOT good for dogs). Prefer fresh food for my dogs. Plus lack of staff onsite and staff that is unable to answer questions about products.

Nice helpful and knowlegable people,they never leave you stranded with no answers for your little friends.

My dog just loves this place so much that he marks it 4 star in every corner!

Hi I just had to say my dogs nails needed cutting and I didn't know how he would handle it at all,was up in the air and then Adriana did such a great job at handling our pet that we went as far as to have the nails done with a finish grind down the edges and all for just $15 Dollars that is a deal Thank you so much Adriana and thank you for all of that wonderful service to us we will return.

Super friendly staff. Shout out to kait who helped me at the register store is easy to find products and had great stock.

Grooming does not do a good job. The dogs are not taken care of well. Horrible grooming, dogs are left half done. Paws are not done correctly, hair in-between the paw pads are not cut. Dogs are not deshedded after you pay for it. Clumps of hair still left matted in the dogs coat. Teeth not cleaned even when you pay for it. Don't waste your money at this store poorly managed and run. I will not be bringing my dog back to this location again.

Good selection of cat food here, even some I can't find anywhere else. Staff is helpful if you have any questions too!

so i went into petco looking for a friend for my betta fish. the woman there was very sweet and tried helping me, but she didn’t really know what she was taking about. then she asked her co-worker and he helped me. i ended up buying a snail. the guy said the snail may or may not be alive which i thought was a bit sketchy. I waited in line FOREVER because there was only one person running the cash register. when i got home i let the snail acclimate to the water temp and eventually put him in the tank. he didn’t move at all. turns out he’s dead. petco sold me a dead snail. he was $4.00. i don’t recommend petco for aquatic animals, especially snails.

Very nice very spacious very clean. The employees I encountered were very nice and pleasant and helpful. They let us right where we needed to go. They had what we are looking for and it was a good supply in a good condition. I would recommend this Petco.

I have adopted several guinea pigs from this Petco in the past that have all died within weeks of obtaining them. This place should be shutdown.

Customer service is AMAZING! Also the store and displays were out of sight!

Petco San Rafael makes it easy to order online and picking up in store. Plus great sales staff.

My puppy was so overwhelmed and happy as soon as he got inside the store for the first time.. the employees were so kind and welcoming... my puppy will definitely would want to shop around in petco every once a week. :)
