The Vets are great, it's the front staff that needs work. From scheduling appointments, greeting you upon arrival, answering calls (long hold times), fielding questions, going over what was done during your visit, etc. These are the people that are supposed to be professional and the ones that represent Banfield. Lately we've experienced poor patient services. Rethinking if we want to continue with Banfield.

One of the receptionists is extremely rude. I have gone their since I was 18 years old and have never had a problem with any of the workers their. I will continue going their because I dont have a problem with anyone else but I suggest that they train them better on people skills. I will not call her out by name or looks because it is mean but I highly recommend it since the receptionists are the face of the company.

I have tried to take my pets there but they never had any days available and one time which was this year of 2021 I was able to take a one of my pets with an appointment but that free exam coupon it never happened never. Although the vet Sounded very nice when I spoke to her on the phone fortunately I wasn’t able to P in the room while she was being examined because of the pandemic but my dog didn’t come out from the exam room I’m scared I don’t know how they examined her or what they did but I guess he did a good job.

This place is ALWAYS closed. And when they send prescriptions to the pharmacy, they never want to approve renewals, so I have to scramble at the last minute to try to get an appointment. This happened 3 times before I gave up and just took my pet to a different vet. Calling today to try to get her medical history, and they're closed again! They were also closed on Tuesday this week, and they're always closed on Saturdays. Why even run a business if it's going to be closed so often?

They called me to let me know the dr wont be in for my dogs appt. Mind you my dog needs to be seen, i booked a month in advance!! This is ridiculous! I bring my other three dogs here too & for sure ill be looking elsewhere for services.

the people where very friendly* Edit: From 5 stars to 1 star if possible zero because they used to have great service and ever since either the doctor or new owner ship changed their customer service has gone down the drain the reseptionist service is bad and rude Dont go here ! You will not be happy

We had to put down our cat on a Sunday and, without having any history with Banfield Pet Hospital, we could not have gotten better care anywhere. From the receptionist to the vet techs to Dr. Jennifer Yip, our cat Dexter was well taken care of. After consulting with Dr. Yip, we felt very comfortable with our decision and the subsequent procedure. The whole office was professional as well as kind, caring and empathetic, which is the best possible scenario when euthanizing a beloved pet.

They get me and my dog in and make us fee special. I’m very comfortable with the care my dog gets. They are a smooth operation!

Worst experience ever had an appointment that was moved up earlier was not notified I got here on time for my appointment to be told it was canceled their reputation is true worst hospital for anything and staff does not care for your pets the little time I spent in there I saw how they treat them behind the doors. I wouldn't recommend to bring your pets here unless your as heartless as them.

Why have a phone number listed if you’re never going to answer the phone? The vet techs are great and friendly but the front desk is seriously lacking.

The staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable. They took good care of my dog and the vetinarian was very informative and therouo at finding what was wrong with my dog and fallowed up with a phone call to see how he was reacting to the medication.

I went with a friend to take her dog to the vet for a physical. Staff doesn't seem knowledgeable. Rough with other dogs. I prefer my Vet. I wouldn't recommend a vet that works out of a pet store.

Vet and staff are responsive. Hard to get an appointment though, so plan accordingly (1-2 weeks ahead of time). Vet counter is in the back of the store next to grooming, unlike most Banfields that have a separate room and entrance at the front off to the side.

I've been coming here for many years for my dogs' routine care and vaccinations. They have been good and they treat my pets with care. Unfortunately, the vets don't tend to stay long so I have interacted with at least 5 different vets over the years. They always give me a general price quote for any treatments that my vet and I had discussed about before moving forward which I prefer. All the vets I have interacted with there like to collaborate on decisions about treatment and that is very important.

We took our new puppy to this clinic and the vet asked why are you here today. We said she went to the vet 2 weeks ago with her mom's owner and now we have several questions to ask, like what size would she be, how to take care of her back (she is a duschund). The vet staied in the room with us for no more than 7 minutes and suddenly left us with the assistant who jus try to sell us an anual plan for 550 bucks. After that, they said we could have the rabies vacation and we should have the first dosage today and then come back in 3 weeks for the next shot and then come back again. All of those appointments was going to be charged! Plus, thr vaccine of course. Also, they included in the fee this appointment, which was free, based on the receptionist because it was my dog's first visit. When we mentioned this, she said, oh, ok. (????).The vet never came back and when I asked the assistant abou the possible size of my dog she said "there is no way to know anything about how big she will be". Then I asked for back problems and she just said "it's fine". In summary .. it is JUST BUSINESS. No dog care here. So, be careful.

The staff here is wonderful and knowledgeable and they take great care of my three dogs. I have been going here for a few years now and they offer great pricing, care and long hours which include weekends. For those of us that need that Sunday appointment, this is great. Thanks to everyone there! They also took great care of my best friend's cats until she moved a year ago and she was thrilled with the service there too. It is nice that even though she moved 700 miles away she was able to go into her new local Banfield and every note, procedure and diagnosis was there already.

Dr. Lee was gentle, understanding, and passionate with our Senior Labrador USMC K-9 Sgt.Taker. Our experience with Banfield unlike other visits was extraordinary positive.

The support staff don't seem to genuinely care about your pet. When we took our dog in with an emergency situation about 15 minutes before they closed but the front desk said the veterinarian had already left for the day and to try "somewhere else." Why did the vet leave early and what's the point of staying open if you're just going to turn people away?! A couple of the veterinarians are nice but the rest are too robotic

This is the worst pet hospital ever. If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my dog as he was feeling down, they cheated me out of about $500 worth of exams. To then refer me to another vet, where the doctor immediately realized my dog needed surgery. Their vets are not properly educated, they are students who just want to play with dogs. Not professional at all. When I tried to cancel the wellness plan, they said I couldn't cancel. So I paid it all off for them to stop contacting me, months later I try to make an appointment. All of a sudden, I no longer have an account. It was "cancelled" when I was told this could not happen! Worst pet hospital, do not go here! I warn you, there are much better hospitals around the area.
