Joey my 11 month old Golden Retriever was neutered by Dr Tiffany Steers on 10/19, She is an Outstanding Veterinarian. She has been his Vet since Joey was 8 weeks old. She got Joey through puppy diarrhea always calling me coming up with the right treatments and checking on his progress. I followed Dr Steers from Burlingame Veterinary Hospital to Aragon and am so happy. The staff is so kind and reassuring. They take such good care of Joey making him feel safe and secure. That's so important to me. I would recommend Aragon Veterinary Clinic to anyone who is serious about who treats their pets.

I've been going here for 6 years. No complaints. Staff seems very kind and conscientious.

We have been taking our beautiful chocolate lab here for over a year now. We really want to love it cause it's so close to home. The actual vet is very good, however a few of the front staff and tech staff is hit or miss. Our pets are our family members we want to feel welcomed, warm and fuzzy. Sadly, on most visits they are gruff, and leave one feeling like you are bothering them. We recently had an appointment which we missed due to my father's sudden unexpected death. In the chaos of what happened I forgot to call and cancel, they tried to charge me. When I explained what happened they offered no condolences !!?? Just, "we won't charge you this time!!??" I was blown away!!! I thought, wow!, I just told them my dad died and they didn't even say, "gee I'm so sorry for your loss" what happens behind closed doors to my dog? Again, I keep wanting to love this place because I like our dog's vet, however a few of the front staff and tech staff are lacking big time in compassion. If you don't like your job, please find another and don't take your stuff out on your customers. Our pets mean the world to us and we want to feel the love when we are there too!!

Aragon has been my vet for 20 years now. They have taken care of six of my cats over the years. I'm very grateful for all the help and support they provided to me and my animals. Taking care of animals is some of the most important work anyone can do. Thank you Aragon!

Excellent pet care as always!

This vet does not accept new patients. I moved to San Mateo in April and they refused to see my dog as a new patient because of Covid concerns (rightfully so). I just called again (it's December) and was told the same thing. It does not seem logical that a vet would refuse new patients for 8 months given that all other businesses have found ways to adapt. So leaving one star because I have been trying for 8 months to come here and now I am giving up. Not reliable.

Always attentive to our pets' needs!

Easily the best group of vets in the San Mateo area. Great service for dogs and cats, and very reasonable prices. This is a very skilled passionate group of vets! They are very popular and often limit the number of new clients per year, so best to get on the waitlist.

Their website claims "We will still be open as an essential service. As veterinarians, a part of our commitment is to protect and promote public health. We take this very seriously." Yet they won't see my dog because they are not taking new patients "due to shelter in place." Nothing in the shelter in place order prevents them from taking new canine patients (nor does the order prevent doctors from taking new human patients?). They seem more elitist than committed to serving the community.

We have been clients here for about 25 years and though the staff has changed, the level of care and accessibility continues to be at a very high level. Additionally, we have always found there billings to be reasonable and quite modest compared to the many other vet services offered on the peninsula. Highly recommend.

Very competent doctors, have been taking my cats there for a while.

They are nice and helpful in person but very much the opposite on the phone.... Needed some documents for our pet Insurence and whomever answered the phone made it seem like I'm asking for the moon and that I have no right to do that.... Very strange considering I called our previous vet for the same documents and they emailed it to me the same day.

Took quite awhile to get appointment. Office staff was nice, but vet was somewhat short with me and my dog. He had to muzzle my dog (he's never had to be muzzled by previous vets) and the "full check up" was all of 5 minutes. Disappointing, but maybe other vets in the office would be a better fit for us???

We love Aragon Vet clinic. Have been to other vets in the area, and I would recommend going to Aragon Veterinary Clinic over others we've visited. Have had both Dr. Walsh and Dr. Sutter look at my 3 year old rescue dog. Both are extremely kind, patient, and respectful and have excellent bedside manner -- both with my dog, and with me as the owner. I trust them, respect them, feel listened to and will always go back to them as long as we live here.

Excellent care for my two cats over 12 years of taking them there. Also, Karyn, front office walked me through every complex step of getting my cat cleared for instant release on my move to Maui. Can't thank her enough..all went smoothely.

Dr. Walsh is the best.

We’ve been there twice, both for my dogs skin problems. It’s relatively easy and fast to make an appointment. Dr. Sutter was efficient at diagnosing and treating the polyps and dermatitis. He was also considerate, had good suggestions on the daily care. They called back to check on the dog after discharge home post surgery. Prices are quite reasonable in the area.

The doctors are great with pets. Friendly, gentle, and caring. It's a very busy clinic, so expect a wait; but the quality of care is top notch. The facilities are also very nice with a separate entrance for cats and dogs and a separate exit as well.

Great place for the care of my Bella. Dr. Steers was very good with her and me. Letting me know what I needed too to take care of our new furry family member. The office staff was wonderful. Thank you!

Best vet practice I've been to. I followed Mary Kmak from a previous office but Aragon is a friendly welcoming group of people.

Been a regular here since my wife and I moved to Sam Mateo in 2012. We love at we can see our preferred vet (Doctor Walsh) consistently. The front desk is patient and friendly as are the technicians. We also appreciate the extra (often complementary) services like internal expressing and claw trimming.
